Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are among the most commonly used type of drugs, as they are very effective as antiinflammatory, anti-pyretic and analgesic. Their use has increased dramatically over the years even without a medicalprescription¸however the use of NSAIDs is limited due to the adverse effect in the gastrointestinal tract, heart and kidney. Thisresearch work is focused on the adverse effect in the gastrointestinal tract. The mechanisms involved in gastric damage caused byNSAIDs are well known compared to those in the intestinal area. Research on NSAID-induced intestinal damage is very limited, despite its higher mortality rate, partially due to the difficulty of reaching this area. Therefore, this review mentions some of themechanisms involved in small intestinal damage to help as a reference to continue doing research about new strategies to come upwith an effective clinical therapy.

Currently, the health care methods for chronic diseases are leaving behind the paternalism and the doctor-patient relationship, giving way to a new model, in which people with any chronic disease play an important role in their own health care with the support of the health care provider, this is called self-management. An important aspect of the self-management of diseases is the determination and elaboration of specific strategies in the patient´s empowerment through knowledge, in order to face all the challenges and demands of living with this disease.

Interculturality is a process of communication and interaction between people of different cultures in which the integration and harmonious coexistence between them is favored. Mexican population has a strong feeling for the ethnic belonging; regardless if they speak an indigenous language or not. However, there is a significant gap in health conditions of indigenous groups due to geographical dispersion and isolation, in addition to the discriminatory treatment they receive, which is because their needs and demands are not met. The present review is focused on critically analyze the current situation of interculturality in health, pointing out inclusion strategies adopted by other countries and emphasizing that this is a pending issue for the Mexican Health System, which leads to the conclusion that interculturality has a great importance in public policies and work strategies focused on the well-being of indigenous peoples.

Temperament is a risk factor for major depressive disorder, more specifically neuroticism or negative emotionality and it seems that higher levels makes the subjects more likely to develop depressive episodes in response to stressful life events. The objective of this review is to establish those personality traits that are most related to depression. From all the articles, seven of them are about the high levels of neuroticism and low levels of extroversion in depressive patients, this for the theory of the five factors. On the other hand, the studies based on the Cloninger theory talk about high levels of damage avoidance and low levels of self-directivity that are related to the presentation of the disorder. Regardless of the theory used, it becomes evident the need to interrogate personality traits in psychiatric and healthy patients, in the latter for the prevention of disorders.

In the last five years, local musicians and producers have turned their gaze towards Ecuadorian and regional traditional sounds. This article explores the cultural tensions of contemporary music production in this country, and the post-digital aesthetics. At the same time, it discusses the dialogue in music production between the traditional and contemporary sounds, the global and local flows, and the analogue and digital technologies. In addition, this study aims to deconstruct production and composition processes of various songs, as well as the discursive construction of this music. In this context, the podcast "Postlatino" becomes an important element in the research process.
