The implementation and preliminary calibration of a distributed, hydrological-hydraulic, physically based model of surface runoff on the Pavón basin (south of Santa Fe province) is presented. The basin has an area of approximately 3143 km2 and its main course is the San Urbano Channel- Sauce Stream and Pavón stream. The discharge is in the Paraná River. The information from topographic charts of the National Geographic Institute (IGN) was used, with aggregation in 150 m x 150 m grid size cells, as a digital terrain model. Additionally, information about the course network was available from topographic maps of the IGN, Google Earth © images; field trips and existing projects. The model was constituted with 139717 cells and a network of courses of 895 km and was preliminarily calibrated with hydrological and hydraulic information of an extraordinary event that occurred on January 15, 2017. The exploitation of the model, in this first level of advancement, allowed to realize the delimitation of flooded areas in the basin; the determination of areas with risk to human lives and maps of water permanence for the extraordinary event and a series of hypothetical events of different recurrences. These results are a contribution in the territorial planning of water resources in the study area. Although a severe information deficit is evident, the first results obtained in the rainwater flow and surface runoff propagation are acceptable.

The effective hydraulic conductivity (Ke) of the Green Ampt infiltration model and the curve number method (CN), are tools frequently used in runoff and contamination models. The aim of the present work was to analyze the relationship between Ke and CN, parameters calibrated from infiltration tests carried out in the field with a rain simulator, determining in turn the effect of the spatial scale change over this relationship. The work was carried out with infiltration results generated with a rain simulator on agricultural and livestock soils, applying two intensities: 60 and 30 mm h-1. The CN and Ke parameters were calibrated, analyzing the relationship between both. In turn, we worked with the Hec Hms 4.0 model to verify if the spatial scale change modified the CN-Ke relationship previously obtained. In livestock soils there was no significant relationship between CN and Ke. In those with agricultural aptitude, a significant negative linear relationship was observed, which depended on the applied rainfall intensity. It was found that the increase in scale, affected the runoff values estimated by the model, compared to those generated in the field. However, the CN-Ke ratio obtained in small plots, did not vary significantly when was evaluated for a larger área.

The estimation of the runoff coefficient (C) of the rational method in a given area is based on the land use and land cover based on a wide international bibliography. Conventionally this classification is done by interpreting satellite images supported with field supervision. This work focuses on the comparison between the conventional methodology and two methodologies that relate C values with land use estimation based on remote sensing techniques. One of them is based on standardized building indexes (NDBI and UI), while the other is based on supervised classification. In both cases, LANDSAT 8 images are processed. The methodologies were validated by contrasting results in 3 urban basins of Rosario city, in Santa Fe. Differences between 3% and 16% were obtained in both cases when compared to the conventional methodology These alternative proposals imply a significant reduction in the time demanding for the C estimation.

Railways were designed in accordance with natural water streams as can be seen in the locations of its work of arts. Low railway slopes due to high weight transported by the convoys were the origin of artificial barriers to the natural flow. Traveling the campaign it can be seen many problems of natural runoff interrupted by locations of work of arts. In many cases, works of art were deactivated by obstruction of it hydraulic section due to lack of cleaning or intentional cut off. It is considered that this fact occurs due to the urban and rural development not has had the same respect to the nature that has had the railways constructors. In other cases, the parallel routes built, not copied the existing drains. So are detected many cases of batches of downstream of a work of art that does not have marked the line upstream runoff observed the presence of a lagoon. This work presents different water issues of importance due to the methodology explained above detected by professionals of the Rosario City Project Area of the Water Resources Secretary depending on Infrastructure and Transport Ministry of Santa Fe Province, Argentina. It is concluded on the need for a shift in paradigms and begins to work with nature and not against it.

The lack of reliable and accurate data is one of the main obstacles to the correct application of appropriate technologies in modern urban drainage systems. In particular, the province of Misiones presents a marked deficit of hydro-environmental information of its internal water courses. Deficit that becomes more evident, in discretized information in subdaily time intervals such as those that are necessary in the modeling of urban headwaters basin. This work presents the application of a series of methodologies to register indicators of hydrosedimentological variables, in an urban basin of the city of Oberá, Misiones. The measurements are presented as unprecedented in the mountain region of Misiones, characterized by mountain topography of steep slopes, with fine soils of silt-clayey type and humid subtropical climate where intense precipitations develop. The measurements reached represent relatively wide ranges of records, which cover a significant range of values. With a total of 10 registered events, the total precipitation varied between 3 and 160 mm, the maximum flow rates between 7 and 69 m3/s and the maximum solids concentrations between 369 and 1602 PPM. The registered have been used at a later stage in the calibration of hydrological-hydraulic models, coupled to sediment production models by water erosion in rainfall events in urban basins of the mountain region of Misiones.

Through this work, we want to expose the consequences that current standards of beauty have on women in the United States and in general. The information it contains was gathered through articles, expert opinions, and studies on the subject that concerns us. Over time, as human beings, we have searched for multiple definitions of the term "Beauty Standards" and how they are capable of evolving over the generations. As a result, an immeasurable amount of criticism, prejudice, and constant attacks on the female gender, in general, are generated, but this trend is further reaffirmed in the United States. This has brought with it great negative consequences specifically on the mental health of women. As a society, we are in a constant struggle to reverse this situation. Five terms that would help us to research more about this subject are body image, beauty, beauty standards, women, and health.            This problem has generated alterations in society solidifying a banner of beauty that not only physically affects women, but also their constant struggle to be part of society. It has had repercussions at an emotional level that lead to a high incidence of depression since the need for acceptance plays an important role in the lives of women in this country. In recent years, the subject has taken a more abrupt turn. The call of support of groups of people who do not feel comfortable or satisfied with the sex with which they were born –Transgenders- to be accepted within the society's beauty standards has increased the confusion on a subject that was not at all clear before. Fortunately, in recent years there has been a trend of inclusion by the companies that lead the beauty market, which has greatly improved the path to a society with less prejudice. We can see this in different advertising campaigns where faces of different ethnic groups are shown, as well as transgender personalities (Civita, 2018).

An optimal social health program should provide an uninterrupted service for the general population of the country. This project is focused on correlating how a state process with high political, administrative, and social bureaucracy has a negative impact on the public health of the population. The aim is to solve the preventive and corrective medical needs of chronic and degenerative diseases, not only in the short term but steadily over time. The lack of both medicine and medical supplies has affected the nation; that´s why solving this problem was established in 2016 as one of the most important issues in Panama's political agenda. To solve this problem, several possible legal, administrative, and comprehensive solutions that apply in a general way to the population in need have been found.

The article analyzes the incidence of technology in the teaching and learning process. The essay proposes that the use of technology impacts the saving of time in the teaching and learning process, content management and improvement in the quality of the evaluation. The author emphasizes that this relationship between technology and education ranges from the creation of content to the incorporation of technology as part of the teacher's pedagogical strategies.
