El presente texto plantea una problemática sobre el papel de los diseñadores y las marcas que basan sus productos de diseño en la iconografía de grupos étnicos, aplicados sin retribuirles el debido reconocimiento de autoría. Se pretende a través de este, remarcar la responsabilidad que debe mantenerse entre el diseño y la cultura. Así como, la ética del diseñador al considerar los trabajos de estos grupos a partir de una perspectiva sociocultural. Ya que, de manera sustancial son estos los diseños que se encuentran sin la protección legal a nivel nacional e internacional. El estudio se realizó en la Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena – UPSE, que consiste en diagnosticar el nivel de conocimiento que están estudiante, trabajadores y profesionales internos y externos en el uso de las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación – TIC. Con esta diagnóstico fortalecer capacidades mediante la gestión estratégica del Centro de Capacitación de Informática de la Facultad de Sistemas y Telecomunicaciones, que incluya módulos de capacitación y formación continua en Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación y tópicos de Economía y Negocios, orientado al cumplimiento de la responsabilidad de la escuela en el ámbito de la autogestión y enmarcado en el respaldo a la gestión institucional en la región, en términos de mejorar  el desempeño profesional.

The aim of this paper is to reflect about the African black heritage in Venezuela, as a contribution to the country's culture. Regarding the methodological perspective, critical hermeneutics is adopted, as a method of argumentation and exegesis as an argumentative technique, to discuss three aspects that are part of the African legacy and that account for our cultural identity: the historical-social one, the religious one and the linguistic one. Regarding the historical and social legacy, the author comments on the participation of the African people in Venezuelan history, incorporating the idea of ​​"cimarronaje"; in attention to the magical-religious vision, it shows the thread of magic that surrounds the religious ideology of the black man; and on the subject of the linguistic legacy, it illustrates some terms of African origin that have remained in the current Spanish. The author concludes that to talk about the influence of black culture in Venezuela, we must discuss the multiple factors that influence the conformation of culture in this country, from diverse disciplinary visions and from cultural products of art, beyond the mere heritage or historical-anthropological legacy.

Marianismo is a psychosocial and cultural phenomenon that started in Spanish America when the Virgin Mary, at the end of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th century, became part of the identity of those peoples that were born or founded. From the socio-cultural standpoint, it is interesting to analyze this category present in Spanish-speaking peoples, as a religious phenomenon, within popular culture and to establish the relationship between devotion to Mary and Venezuelan popular culture in the 20th century, given the various Marian invocations in the country. The essay is approached from the perspective of the descriptive and retrospective method, in search of an approach to the historical process in which Marianismo and popular culture coexist and interweave. To this end, the work was based on the documentary review of the literature on the two thematic elements addressed, as a sustainable basis of the historical fact, to understand the social and cultural reality. It is concluded that Marianismo, as a socio-cultural phenomenon, retains an anthropological, spiritual and ecclesiastical vitality, forming part of the social reality of the nation, that is to say, it has validity in the daily life of Christian identity, in the practice of faith and in the cultural history of the country in the twentieth century, because religiosity, Marianismo and popular culture are connected to build a network of social, cultural and religious behaviors, which are part of the identity of the people.

Being in society implies the construction of spaces and normalizing mechanisms and homogenization of the particular, in terms of the common interest interposed intrinsically in the very act of socialization. The order is erected as the central category of this analytical-interpretative essay, from which it is intended to generate reflection on the role of education as a mechanism of containment of the forces that challenge the social order. For this purpose, Foucault's theory of power (1976) is adopted as a fundamental reference around the capital role of the educational act within the framework of power interdictions and regulations. Education is enthroned as a mechanism that models and produces socially acceptable individuals, according to the scheme of a specific order, which is expressed at all times of the social life of the individual in the suppression of any disturbing element of order. The principle of schooling in which education has derived in contemporaneity has its roots in the paideia Platonic excellent model that assigns to education the responsibility of regulating the first years of life of man, in favor of certain parameters of social order and to the detriment of the vertigo implicit in the chaos.

En este ensayo el autor discurre sobre las relaciones entre la cultura y el arte como elementos influenciados por las realidades contextuales que definen la identidad de los pueblos latinoamericanos; para ello, se apoya argumentativamente en algunas ideas de Briceño-Guerrero (1980) y Giunta (1992). Como metodología de este trabajo se apela a la crítica hermenéutica, con miras a develar las relaciones estrechas entre arte-cultura e identidad. Como conclusión, el autor valora la realidad del arte y de sus diversas manifestaciones en Latinoamérica, como merecedora de un sitial propio que permita configurar los pueblos latinoamericanos en tanto poseedores de una identidad cultural y artística propia, que aún continúa consolidándose, pero que a pesar de esto, reafirma rasgos que nos separan de las expresiones del arte europeo.

Dentro del contexto organizacional, es el recurso humano uno de los aspectos de más alto impacto sobre el plan estratégico de la empresa, y su desarrollo en cuanto a cualificación y calificación, es uno de los puntos más tratados dentro del tema del aprendizaje organizacional, principalmente, lo relacionado con la formación en el trabajo. Sin embargo, cuando se habla del desarrollo de competencias laborales, se hace énfasis en aquellas específicas y propias de cada desempeño, las cuales se perfeccionan o mantienen a través de los antiguos modelos de capacitación o entrenamiento. Como objetivo general analizar los principales aspectos involucrados en la gestión del talento humano basada en competencias, las cuales mediante su desarrollo efectivo, se constituyen en fuente principal del logro de los objetivos empresariales acordes con las necesidades del entorno laboral y las exigencias del mercado.

En el contexto actual se necesita de sistemas de gestión que permitancontrolar de forma sistemática las actividades y procesos de la empresa, conla participación e implicación de todos sus trabajadores, con el objetivo delograr los resultados previstos. Sin embargo, las actuales exigencias en materiade calidadyseguridadysaludeneltrabajo,relativasalasatisfaccióndelos trabajadores,delosclientesydelasdemáspartesinteresadas,handemostrado que los sistemas de gestión son grandes aliados de las organizacionesque quieren mejorar su desempeño en estas áreas. En este sentido,muchas organizaciones para optimizar su gestión optan por integrarlos. Comouna contribución a esta problemática, el objetivo de esta disertación esreflexionar sobre la necesidad de sistemas integrados de gestión de calidad y seguridady salud en el trabajo ante las exigencias del marco legal de la ISO 9001:2015 yla ISO45001:2018.

This study is based on implementing backward design to improve students’ academic assessment, so public high school students can take part of meaningful contexts where they show what they learned at the end of a class term.  Taking in consideration, backward design is a great tool to be applied for public high schools where most of the classes are textbooks centered, provoking students’ frustration due to the lack of English knowledge from schools.  There is a high rate of students failing courses because students are placed in English levels where they do not belong to or they come from other institutions where they did not learn English. Backward design lets teachers be creative and use skills and methodologies according to students’ needs and be very reflexive in the way of designing it. In this study, pairedT_Test is applied to compare scores from the same level, but using different ways of testing. In conclusion, the experimental group (G2), in which backward design was applied, got better results than the controlled group (G1), who did not apply it.  In this case the independent variable which mean and scores are high.  Results show backward design is very meaningful not only for students, but also for teachers. It is true that running appropriate action plans, selecting the best resources and conducting a final assessment through a performance task, gave the opportunity for students to gain more confidence on the language and apply it in a real context.
