A comprehensive search was conducted on the use of physical exercise applied to the elderly. We will briefly explain how physical exercise helps the elderly in terms of the health-disease process. The aim was to describe how physical exercise helps the older adult physically and emotionally. Reference was made to the group of older adults corresponding to the care area of the Martha Martínez Figuera Polyclinic South, where 137 people over 60 years of age were chosen, of whom 60 were women and 77 men. It is known that the elderly tend to be affected by most chronic diseases because they have a weakened immune system as they age, so the use of physical exercise should provide a solution in terms of improving the health of people of this age. This is how the concepts to be used and the methods used to finally understand how the use of physical exercise really helps the older adult were presented in a direct way. A retrospective longitudinal descriptive study was carried out to better understand the problem posed and its possible solution, in the universe taken from 137 people in the southern care area, that is, belonging to the Policlínico Sur Martha Martínez Figuera.

In the work carried out in the recreation module, we found in the diagnosis made to the different CDR that one of the chronic non transmissible diseases that abound in them is obesity. Therefore, this work was carried out in order to contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of these people. The treatment of obesity is multifactorial, although it is fundamentally based on the combination of two pillars (diet and exercise). The combination of a generally hypo-energetic diet (adequate for the constitution and the way of life of each subject), accompanied by permanent moderate exercise, is a good option in the prevention and treatment of obesity. Exercise not only preserves but even increases muscle mass. The combination of both approaches allows neither the diet to be as strict nor the exercise to be as vigorous, which facilitates the permanence of the obese person in the weight reduction program.

The elderly often take refuge in the world of their past, when they were in their adolescence, youth or adulthood, because at that stage of their lives they were loved, admired and occupied a preponderant place in the decisions that were taken within the family and they were not helpless. It is necessary to travel to the past, to determine the functions that were attributed to this age group, because when society changed, many of them either changed little, or were eliminated, instead of changing too. The educational function of the older adult is irreplaceable, especially in this globalized world where the value system is depreciated to the extent that material values rose in price before the spiritual ones

In Basketball the most used shot is the shot with one hand on the shoulder jumping. In its initial position the ball is held with two hands at the waist and then by means of an impulse of the legs and pendulum of arms, the player jumps up and brings the ball to the initial position to execute the shot with one hand on the shoulder, then when he is at the highest point of the flight the player throws the ball into the basket in the same way as when he takes this shot from the spot, but considering that the shot itself is executed without the participation of the legs, therefore the arm extension should be stronger and faster.

The present work is dedicated to the Physical Culture teachers who work together with the family doctor in the community or in hospitals and maternal homes in the care of pregnant women. It includes a methodological guide, where there are general and specific physical activities that every healthy pregnant woman can perform after her obstetrician has authorized it; It also explains the movements, postures or actions to be performed at the time of delivery, as well as other indications of interest on this important issue. A sample of 15 pregnant women in the southern care zone corresponding to the South Polyclinic Martha Martínez Figuera was chosen, and an analysis was made of why physical exercise is necessary in pregnant women and the impact this brings on their lifestyle and health, in addition to the benefits it can bring to the future child. A longitudinal and retrospective descriptive study was carried out to analyze the problem raised above.

Over the years, the possibility of combining music and elements from different disciplines: jogging, jazz, gymnastics, dance, and thus creating something new, was considered. The result of this combination is what has been called aerobic dance (aerobic dance), which consists of dancing to the rhythm of the music, but in an aerobic manner, that is, following the basic principles that all aerobic exercise must meet.
