THE MOTIVATION OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE THROUGH POP MUSIC IN BACCALAUREATE STUDENTS OF THE EDUCATIONAL UNIT "FANNY S. DE BAIRD", MANABÍ. ECUADOR   RESUMEN El objetivo de la investigación está dirigido a realizar un diagnóstico sobre el estado actual del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de la comprensión auditiva en inglés de los estudiantes de tercero de bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa “Fanny s. de Baird”Partiendo un análisis del estado del arte referente a la música como recurso didáctico orientada a mejorar la comprensión auditiva en inglés a través de la música Pop como elemento integrador. El diagnóstico a través de encuestas y observación a clases constató las insuficiencias que persisten en la enseñanza de la comprensión auditiva: la falta de motivación de los alumnos, dificultades en la orientación de las tareas, ausencia de tareas previas o después de la audición entre otras. La matriz de ponderación de 7 parámetros y de 4 permitió medir el nivel de cumplimiento de los docentes y el uso de metodología y didáctica de enseñanza en el aprendizaje del idioma, donde se prepondera como resultado que la motivación a los alumnos antes de escuchar la canción fue del 75%, evaluada de regular. Por lo que no apreciable resultaron el intercambio del profesor con los alumnos y no se orientas tareas antes de escuchar el texto. Se concluye que la música Pop por su características hará mas motivador el aprendizaje colaborativo, significativo y desarrollador. ABSTRACT The objective of the research is aimed at making a diagnosis about the current state of the teaching-learning process of listening comprehension in English of third-year students of the Baccalaureate of the Educational Unit "Fanny s. of Baird”. Starting an analysis of the state of the art referring to music as a didactic resource aimed at improving listening comprehension in English through Pop music as an integrating element. The diagnosis through surveys and observation of classes found the insufficiencies that persist in the teaching of listening comprehension: the lack of motivation of the students, difficulties in the orientation of the tasks, absence of previous tasks or after the audition among others. The weighting matrix of 7 parameters and 4 allowed to measure the level of compliance of teachers and the use of teaching methodology and teaching in language learning, which highlights as a result that motivation to students before listening to the song It was 75%, rated regular. Therefore, the exchange of the teacher with the students was not noticeable and they did not start assignments before listening to the text. INFLUENCE OF ACTIVE METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGIES IN THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF MARKETING ENGINEERING STUDENTS AT THE STATE UNIVERSITY OF MILAGRO RESUMEN La presente investigación está relacionada a cómo influyen la estrategias metodológicas en el desempeño académico del estudiante. El desarrollo constante que se está produciendo en el sistema educativo superior es de vital importancia, una de las áreas donde el docente es el principal protagonista es en los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje, siendo uno de los principales aspectos que influye en el desempeño académico del estudiante, tanto cualitativamente que vendrían a ser su actuación y cuantitativamente el rendimiento académico, por tal motivo se elabora este articulo con el debido sustento científico, efectuado en la Facultad de Ciencias Administrativa y Comerciales en la carrera de Ingeniería en Marketing de la Universidad Estatal de Milagro. Por tal motivo el propósito de esta investigación es que el docente aplique estrategias metodológicas activas para desarrollar un ambiente de aprendizaje óptimo y que las actividades de aprendizaje, generen competencias y habilidades en los estudiantes. La base teórica permitió tener diferentes referencias para analizar el uso de metodologías activas, también permitió estructurar la investigación y luego obtener resultados con los métodos y herramientas de esta investigación. ABSTRACT This research is related to how they influence the methodological strategies on student academic performance. The constant development that is occurring in the higher education system is vital , one of the areas where the teacher is the main protagonist is in the process of teaching and learning , one of the main aspects that affect academic performance student, both qualitatively that would become his performance and academic performance quantitatively, for that reason this article is made ​​with due scientific support , held at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences and Trade in Engineering in Marketing University State of Milagro, Therefore the purpose of this research is that teachers apply active methodological strategies to develop an optimal learning environment and that learning activities, generate skills and abilities in students. IMPROVEMENT OF THE ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF THE SECOND YEAR STUDENTS OF BACCALAUREATE FROM THE INTEGRAL ORIENTATION OF THE PARENTS   RESUMEN Para la investigación del tema puesto a consideración, se planteó primeramente tener como objetivos el diseño de una estrategia para la orientación integral de los padres de familia para mejorar el rendimiento de los alumnos de segundo año de Bachillerato de la Unidad Educativa Cascol del Cantón Paján, partiendo del supuesto de que al contar con esta herramienta de orientación integral, los padres podrán colaborar con grandes aportes a la educación de sus hijos, y estos elevarán el rendimiento académico. Para ello se consultó la opinión de los padres de familia, del profesor tutor, de los estudiantes del segundo año de Bachillerato, utilizando metodología cualitativa y cuantitativa. Una vez culminada la investigación se obtuvieron como resultados que los estudiantes de segundo año de bachillerato en gran medida, son ellos mismos quienes solventan sus gastos estudiantiles, y que a pesar de distar kilómetros de distancia entre la unidad educativa y su hogar, hacen el esfuerzo por llegar, aunque no disponen del tiempo necesario para realizar las tareas extra-escolares, así como también que ellos no cuentan con el apoyo de sus padres para realizar investigaciones y/o tareas. En conclusión se puede afirmar que la estrategia diseñada abarca la participación del padre de familia con la institución educativa, por medio de invitaciones personalizadas, y además una mayor atención a sus hijos, en diálogos y provisiones de materiales para los estudios. ABSTRACT For the investigation of the subject put to consideration, it was first proposed to have as objectives the design of a strategy for the integral orientation of the parents to improve the performance of the second year students of the Baccalaureate of the Educational Unit Cascol from Canton Pajan, starting of the assumption that by having this comprehensive orientation tool, parents can collaborate with great contributions to the education of their children, and these will raise academic performance. To this end, the opinion of the parents, the tutor, and the students of the second year of Baccalaureate was consulted, using qualitative and quantitative methodology. Once the research was completed, it was found that the second-year students of the baccalaureate are, to a large extent, the ones who pay for their student expenses, and that despite distancing distance between the educational unit and their home, they make the effort to arrive, although they do not have the necessary time to perform the extra-school tasks, as well as that they do not have the support of their parents to do research or tasks. In conclusion it can be said that the strategy designed includes the participation of the father of the family with the educational institution, through personalized invitations, and also a greater attention to their children, in dialogues and provisions of materials for the studies. PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCES IN THE TOURISM CAREER RESUMEN La presente investigación tiene como objetivo general evaluar las competencias laborales que se establecen en la carrera de turismo de las Instituciones de Educación Superior del país, buscando la estandarización de procesos hoteleros que respondan a las exigencias de los más exigentes clientes, para este tipo de investigaciones se llevó acabo la utilización de algunos métodos como: análisis, síntesis, inducción, deducción, observación, comparación y fundamentación ; y las técnicas: encuesta, entrevista, ficha de cotejo, fichas de observación entre otras. Para la identificación de las competencias laborales en cada uno de los puestos claves estudiados (camarero de habitación y limpiador de área en centros turísticos), se trabaja con los clientes internos y externos, donde se utiliza, en el último caso, un muestreo aleatorio simple. Identificadas las competencias, elaboramos inmediatamente los perfiles y posteriormente los indicadores cuantitativos y cualitativos que mediremos en casos prácticos convirtiéndose en soporte vital de evaluación permanente del talento humano con índices comparativos mediante las experiencias de expertos en las diferentes áreas comprimidas a la satisfacción de necesidades del cliente y sobre todo en la calidad de la atención. Es fundamental realizar una triangulación entre las competencias laborales, los indicadores económicos y la capacidad del talento humano, estos resultados dictaminan el performance de cada representante laboral en áreas específicas del orden empresarial hotelero, que figura en estructuras modernas de calidad y evaluación de procesos hoteleros, estos perfiles profesionales son determinados en trabajos mancomunados entre la empresa privada y la empresa pública. ABSTRACT The present research aims at evaluating the labor competencies established in the tourist career of the Higher Education Institutions of the country, seeking the standardization of hotel processes that respond to the demands of the most demanding clients, for this type of research The use of some methods such as: analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, observation, comparison and foundation was carried out; And techniques: survey, interview, checklist, observation tabs among others. For the identification of labor competencies in each of the key positions studied (room waiter and area cleaner in tourist centers), we work with internal and external clients, where, in the latter case, a simple random sampling. Once the competences have been identified, we will immediately produce the profiles and then the quantitative and qualitative indicators that will be measured in practical cases, becoming a vital support for the permanent evaluation of human talent with comparative indices through the experiences of experts in the different areas compressed to the satisfaction of the client's needs And above all in the quality of care. It is essential to triangulate labor competencies, economic indicators and the capacity of human talent, these results dictate the performance of each labor representative in specific areas of the hotel business order, which is included in modern structures of quality and evaluation of hotel processes, These professional profiles are determined in joint work between the private company and the public company. COMPETENCES IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING, A CHALLENGE IN HIGHER EDUCATION   RESUMEN El propósito de la Educación Superior ha ido transformándose de forma reveladora en los últimos tiempos, ha ido extendiéndose a lo largo de una etapa concreta de la vida, dejando solo de estar confinada a ésta. Los confines de los pueblos en América latina y del Caribe, han ido enmendando su infraestructura académica, de modo que hemos podido presenciar el trasiego de profesores y estudiantes de un nivel a otro. Nuestras salones de clases ya no son emparejes de conocimiento, sino se puede apreciar desde la pluriculturalidad, la plurietnia, la equidad de género, los niveles avanzados y menos específicos , hasta la búsqueda del conocimiento de forma novedosa y sus estudiantes tienen los mismos intereses profesionales. Todos estos cambios no han ido acompañados de transformaciones equivalentes en la enseñanza universitaria. Se aprecian aun, desniveles entre lo que se aspira y la realidad existente en la preparación, planificación y ejecución del proceso de enseñanza. Enseñar teniendo en cuenta el desarrollo actual que la educación universitaria requiere, implica tener en cuenta el aprendizaje por competencias. El aumento de la competencia ha obligado a las instituciones educativas a apostar por las innovaciones tecnológicas. En él se crean espacios y momentos de reflexión que impliquen al escolar en el análisis de las tareas, las vías para su solución y su control valorativo. En el artículo se hace un análisis de este proceso de manera general y en particular en la Educación Primaria. Se propone un procedimiento para contribuir a la gestión del conocimiento en los escolares del segundo y tercer momentos del desarrollo y ejemplos de su implementación. THE RELATIONS OF FAMILY COEXISTENCE AND ITS IMPACT ON THE FORMATION OF VALUES ​​OF ADOLESCENTS   RESUMEN Las relaciones de convivencia constituyen un elemento esencial en la educación de las nuevas generaciones por la influencia que tiene este proceso en el desarrollo de actitudes y modos de comportamiento de los individuos. Convivir significa que hay que tener en cuenta el vivir con los otros, en un aprendizaje que cada persona adquiere en el transcurso de su vida. Sin embargo aún existen problemas en la convivencia que limitan el completo estado físico, psicológico y espiritual de los hogares donde vive un adolescente, lo que trae como consecuencia problemas de comportamiento y en el aprendizaje. El trabajo que se presenta tiene por objetivo proponer un sistema de acciones de orientación familiar para potenciar las relaciones de convivencias adecuadas en las familias que contribuyan a la formación de valores en los adolescentes. De igual forma analiza fundamentos teóricos que sustentan la propuesta a partir de la concepción teórica sobre la convivencia familiar y la relación con la formación de valores. ABSTRACT The relations of coexistence constitute an essential element in the education of the new generations because of the influence that this process has on the development of attitudes and modes of behavior of the individuals. Living together means that you have to take into account living with others, in a learning that each person acquires in the course of their life. However, there are still problems in coexistence that limit the complete physical, psychological and spiritual state of the homes where a teenager lives, which results in behavioral and learning problems. The aim of the work presented is to propose a system of family-oriented actions to strengthen relations of adequate coexistence in families that contribute to the formation of values ​​in adolescents. In the same way, it analyzes the theoretical foundations that sustain the proposal based on the theoretical conception of family coexistence and the relationship with the formation of values. HISTORIA DE LA ENSEÑANZA DEL IDIOMA INGLÉS EN ECUADOR   ABSTRACT Nowadays in Latin American countries, learning English has become a requirement for many different activities in people’s life, especially the ones who want to increase professional status and personal development. Thus, Ecuador’s government has changed the policies and laws to improve the way of English language teaching, and it has also invested in resources, training and educational programs for teachers, as well as, scholarships for students. Those teachers-students come from public and private schools. The purpose of this study is to provide a knowledge about the evolution of the English teaching process and how it was developed through the last decades. The findings of this research showed that the methods applied by the teachers varied according to the governments’ schemes of possible needs making shifts in the methodology and ways of planning the English classes. RESUMEN Hoy en día en países latinoamericanos, el aprendizaje del inglés se ha convertido en un requisito para muchas diferentes actividades en la vida de las personas, en especial de aquellas que desean un mejor estatus y desarrollo profesional. Por lo tanto, el gobierno ecuatoriano ha cambiado las políticas y leyes para mejorar la enseñanza de este idioma, y ha invertido en recursos, capacitaciones y programas educativos para profesores, así como también en becas para estudiantes y profesores del sector público y privado. El propósito de este estudio es dar a conocer sobre la evolución y el desarrollo de la enseñanza del inglés como idioma extranjero desde sus inicios. Los resultados de esta investigación mostraron que los métodos aplicados por los docentes variaban de acuerdo con los esquemas de las posibles necesidades analizadas por los gobiernos lo que produjo cambios en la metodología de planificación de las clases de inglés. Esos cambios que posiblemente no cubrieron la necesidad real de los estudiantes. CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHERS IN ECUADOR RESUMEN La necesidad creciente del estudio y aprendizaje del idioma inglés en el mundo direcciona también la necesidad de ofrecer una preparación a maestros y profesores cada vez más holística que garantice tanto la preparación lingüística como la cultura profesional de la población. Este reto tiene su relación estrecha con la preparación de los docentes de idioma inglés, los que en el caso de Ecuador provienen de formación diversa. Se identifica la exigencia de profundizar en la formación profesional pedagógica de los mismos para cumplir con éxito el encargo social en aras de propiciar un desarrollo socio-económico creciente en el país. ABSTRACT The growing need for the study and learning of the English language in the world also directs the need to offer an increasingly holistic teacher preparation that guarantees both the linguistic preparation and the professional culture of the population. ELABORATION OF A DIDACTIC SEQUENCE FOR THE TEACHING OF PARTICLE PHYSICS AT THE MIDDLE LEVEL THE LIGHT OF THE PSYCHOGENETIC THEORY     RESUMO Os documentos oficiais para a Educação no Brasil, em consonância com pesquisas atuais no Ensino de Ciências prezam por um ensino que supere o sistema educacional tradicional pautado na transmissão de conteúdos. Nesse sentido o Ensino de Física Moderna e mais especificamente de Partículas, ainda encontra obstáculos para efetiva inserção no Ensino Médio. Sendo assim a presenta pesquisa teve como objetivo desenvolver uma sequência didática que possui os eixos norteadores da Divulgação Científica e a História da Ciência, aliado aos pressupostos da Psicogênese do conhecimento, balizado pelos aportes construtivos de uma sequência que são as características factual, conceitual, procedimental e atitudinal. Dessa forma a organização da sequência está dividida em nove momentos compostos por suas respectivas aulas. Portanto a sequência desenvolvida possui potencial para proporcionar o aprendizado dos discentes, pois ao alicerçar o uso de textos de Divulgação Científica, bem como, textos que reflitam os aspetos da História da Ciência em consonância com o filme/documentário científico constitui-se uma das vertentes, para propiciar a inserção efetiva da Física de Partículas no Ensino Médio.   PALAVRAS CHAVE: Teoria de Equilibração Cognitiva; Estrutura da Matéria; Conceitos Científicos.   ABSTRACT The official documents for Education in Brazil, in consonance with current researches in the Teaching of Sciences, favor a teaching that surpasses the traditional educational system based on the transmission of contents. In this sense the Teaching of Modern Physics and more specifically of Particles, still finds obstacles for effective insertion in High School. Thus, the present research had as objective to develop a didactic sequence that has the guiding axes of Scientific Divulgation and the History of Science, allied to the presuppositions of the Psicogênese of knowledge, marked by the constructive contributions of a sequence that are the factual, conceptual, procedural characteristics and attitudinal. In this way the organization of the sequence is divided into nine moments composed by their respective classes. Therefore, the developed sequence has the potential to provide the students' learning, since to base the use of Scientific Dissemination texts as well as texts that reflect the aspects of the History of Science in consonance with the scientific film / documentary was one of the aspects, to promote the effective insertion of Particle Physics in High School.
