Resumen
La Amnistía Migratoria se realizó en 1999, su objetivo era legalizar a los inmigrantes centroamericanos que se encontraban de manera ilegal en Costa Rica.Se especulaba que iban a ser 300 000, sin embargo, fueron 155 316. Esta política pública surgió como respuesta humanitaria debido al desastre ocasionado por el Huracán Mitch en América Central y se realizó en la administración Rodríguez Echeverría. La preparación tomó tres meses y la aplicación seis. Estuvo a cargo de la Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería.

Resumen
In the presence of the constant changes in the Spanish family, the roles of men and women have been modified. Perhaps these modifications have not taken over completely in the practical aspect but certainly in the ideological aspect, having as a result less precision in the daily tasks of men and women, and especially in the task of fatherhood. This study examines the perception that 18 Spanish males have about the paternity. The duty that males have today is to transform the model of acquired paternity, which demands essential changes in their masculine identity and paternal practice.

Se presenta una descripción detallada del concepto de anfitrión, elaborado desde la práctica de hoteleros en una población en el Estado de México, bajo el enfoque de la propuesta teórica de Peter L. Berger y Thomas Luckmann. El argumento central es que el rol de anfitrión sólo puede desempeñarse por la persona a partir de su relación de interacción con el rol de turista, así como este último sólo adquiere sentido en su relación con el de anfitrión.

Resumen
Central American governments are attempting to integrate their economies. In telecommunications the objective is to foster investment through the harmonization of laws. Using as a theoretical framework the principal-agente problem, the paper analyses these countries’ laws to determine the level of independence and autonomy given to regulators and the difficulties that they are likely to face in their integration efforts.

Resumen
The purpose of this paper is to illuminate how the enduring political values inherited from the colonial epoch have had a long duree in Latin American countries, and the consequences for the installation of democratic regimes, throughout the 19th up to the end of the 20th century. The central argument is that democracy is not only about economic welfare or competitive political system, but is about how democratic values are developed in societies where, due to their heavy non-democratic historical inheritance, those ones hardly begin to root. In order to achieve this goal we combine a historical qualitative approach and a quantitative method using public opinion information.

Resumen
The rice is indispensable in the basket of daily consumption of the Costa Ricans and, no another product substitutes it; but, the country produces only the 55% of the national consumption, aggravated by the industrial conflicts vis à vis producing.
To study the system of the rice, in the first place models are built of social-diagrams, that permit a holistic perspective. In second place, these social-diagrams serve of base to build a matrix social-metrics, that estimated the social capital of the system, the leadership of the social actors and they quantify the feedbacks of information of the system. In third place a scene is built that reflect the present chaos of the system, which is compared with the previous model by hypothesis of a chi-square test. Finally an interpretation of the lobbies of power to be able is done.

The social alarm before a state of unsustainable violence and crime in the country, among other factors, caused by the manipulation of the press in regards to the phenomenom of criminality has justified a series of criminal policies regulations that tend to harden and make bad use of the juridic.penal instruments. The aplication of such measures in the penitenciary system has increased the problems that have alxays characterized it, without finding anwers that have achievedd any solution.

Resumen
The coaching has been one of the managerial techniques that has had a great peak like competitive weapon in the international managerial sector in the last decades, that which motivated to analyze the coaching, from a perspective epistemológica, with the purpose of knowing its theoretical and scientific basement. For that which was carried out a theoretical revision on this technical, determining their ontologic, gnoseologic and axiologic perspective. We concluded that the coaching has been come using to transfer elements from the sport area to the managerial area, in search of alternatives that contribute to improve the organizational activities; however, the same one doesn’t contain theoretical-scientific rigurosidad, like to be consideredas paradigm or it disciplines.

It also treats about the importance of a philosophy of history, so as to attempt the search of a global synthesis of history itself, all these in contrast with the deterministic positions including not only those utopian but also those fatalistic as well.
