Resumen
This article aims to analyses the participation and impact of people of African descent in New Spain’s independence war. It highlights the predominantly popular character of the Independence movement and concentrates on one of the regions where communities of African descent are most numerous. As a result, this social group played an important role in the the rebelling armies, to the extent that some of their members tried unsuccessfully to take control of the insurgent project. As was the case in all Spanish America, creole leadership dominated. Despite this, insurgent leaders in New Spain were early proponents of the absolute and immediate abolition of slavery. After independence, slave owners demanded compensation for enslaved people’s emancipation, which prevent this policy from being fully achieved. Fortunately, the arrival of a president of African descent and insurgency leader, allowed the formal abolition of slavery in 1829. As a result, Mexico became the first Spanish American country to extinguish this dreadful institution.

Resumen
Quince Duncan's work has been distinguished with national and international awards, acknowledging his contribution through his short stories and novels. However, there is a strand of the author's work as a critic, literary theorist and essayist that has not been examined in a consistent and detailed manner, especially in his Afro-realist proposal. This trend has been seen in a simplified way by literary critics, a situation that has hindered an in-depth study of Afro-Latin American literature. Therefore, a research of Duncan's theoretical background is carried out, in order to know the roots of Afro-Realism, through the review of texts based on the work done by the author throughout his career, whose scope addresses different fields: educational, legislative, political, political policy and literary criticism.

Resumen
We will understand femicide from the perspective of Marcela Lagarde, from the conceptual elements of misogyny -hatred towards women- and state impunity -gender népolitical-, which responds to the Latin American reality. On the other hand, Information and Communication Technologies have served as tools to make femicides visible, which has generated a whole form of political cyberactivism, which we will understand as the use of ICTs as a strategy for the political organization of collective action. The essay analyzes the social movement "Ni una menos" in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, El Salvador and Mexico. This selection of countries was made, firstly, based on the high rates of femicides according to the Observatory of Gender Equality of ECLAC; secondly, by the bibliographic information from primary and secondary sources of the work done from the movement in each of the countries and, thirdly, by the incidence of the formation of the collective in social networks as a tactical means for the call for mobilization.

During the last three years, the anti-right discourse against public policies with a gender perspective has grown in Cuba. The oppositional character of fundamentalism became evident during 2021, the year in which Resolution 198/2021 (Program for Advancement of Women) was approved by presidential decree; 16/21 (Comprehensive Sexuality Education Program) was validated, as resolution of the Ministry of Education; and versions 22 and 23 of the new Family Code will be released. Between May and July 2021, 25 Christian denomination spoke out against these policies. The representations of fundamental ideas in five of these statements were: the interpretation of the Gender Theory as an ideology, the constant reference to sexual minorities to represent the favored groups and the pathologization of sexualities and diverse sexual identities
