Resumen
The control devices can be used to dissipate the energy of structures subjected to dynamic loads in order to reduce structural damage and prevent the failure of them. The semiactive control devices that have received great attention in recent years are magnetorheological (MR) fluid dampers due to their mechanical simplicity, high dynamic range, large temperature operating range and low power requirements. In the present research work, Matlab and Simulink are used as computational tools for the modeling and simulation of structural control systems with magnetorheological dampers (MRDs). To begin with, the modeling is carried out through simulink block diagrams of the governing differential equations of representative mathematical models of MRDs. Next, a series of simulations is performed in order to replicate experimental results and to be able to validate the modeling step. Finally, the MRDs are integrated together with a semiactive control algorithm and an idealized ten-degrees-of-freedom structure. The main expected outcome is the reduction of the seismic response (response histories, drifts, shear forces and overturning moments).

Resumen
Adobe buildings usually are characterized by having walls with small and uniform slenderness ratios; nevertheless, there are some historical adobe buildings with existing large walls, where the influence of the aspect ratio becomes quite important in the seismic behavior. This article analyzes the seismic behavior of adobe buildings with larger walls in one axis than the other orthogonal axis. Also, the influence of the aspect ratio of the wall height respects on the wall length is analyzed by varying the wall length. Finite element models were elaborated using the concrete damaged plasticity model to study the influence of the aspect ratio on the seismic behavior of adobe buildings. Four models of buildings having different aspect ratios, varying in length from eight meters to fifty-two meters have been considered. Nonlinear time history analyses with three Peruvian seismic records are conducted. Regarding material, information was collected on the parameters necessary for finite element modeling for adobe masonry. From the non-linear simulations, the cracking patterns of the four buildings were identified. The influence of the aspect ratio in the seismic capacity of these kind of adobe buildings is analyzed. Finally, the results obtained in the numerical models are compared with the evidence of damage caused by past earthquakes.

Resumen
During the Summit on Sustainable Development, the 2030 Agenda was approved, containing 17 objectives to be applied universally and directing the efforts made by the different countries to achieve a sustainable environment; specifically, objective No. 6 guarantees the availability of purified water without impurities, and easily accessible to all. Therefore, this article seeks to analyze the evaluation of groundwater quality during the Covid-19 pandemic at the National University of Trujillo. This pandemic has caused essential changes in the characteristics of ecosystems and the environment. The methodology was descriptive, exploratory, field, and cross-sectional. Based on the postulates of DIGESA (2011), WHO (2006), Galdos-Balzategui, et al. (2017), among others. For the study, the physical-chemical and microbiological control parameters were used, the multiparameter HANNA model HI 9829, two six-monthly samples were taken during 2020, and two repetitions in two water wells and a bath. Said analyzes were carried out in the laboratories of the Biological Sciences Faculty; results were compared with the current regulations, indicating that the water used for human consumption, in terms of odor and taste parameters, presents acceptable values in the three seasons. However, the water from the central storage well does not meet the microbiological health conditions and represents a risk to people's health. It is recommended to implement water quality control and monitoring policies at the National University of Trujillo.
Keywords: water quality, water for human consumption, social welfare, ecosystem.

Resumen
This article analyzes the communication strategies applied by the Peruvian Government during the second wave of Covid-19. In order to support the variable "communication strategies" in times of crisis such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the following approaches were used: Castillo-Esparcia (2020), Soto & Fernández (2020), Macassi (2020), Guibarra & Sánchez (2020), Lázaro & Herrera (2020). The research was developed methodologically with a quantitative approach. Ruling with the criteria of a non-experimental, descriptive design. An analysis was carried out at 734 hours of press conferences; 40 communication products from the communication campaigns 'Let's not lower our guard' and 'Put my shoulder' and 200 posts published on Facebook. The variables were operationalized in 3 dimensions and 15 indicators, measured using observation as a technique, and the observation guide as a data collection instrument. It was found as a final result that the press conferences were one of the main strategies that have served to maintain communication by the Government towards the Peruvian people. Additionally, Facebook was the main social network that served as a channel to communicate issues related to Covid-19, and the two communication campaigns were mostly informative and preventive.

Resumen
This study's objective was to analyze Peruvian university teachers' life experience in the area of Health Sciences during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design was non-experimental, qualitative, and analytical. The total number of participants was defined by purposive sampling, totaling 9 participants, 5 men and 4 women in an age range between 36 and 57 years selected by sampling. The inclusion criterion was active teachers in University Institutions in the cities of Lima - El Callao, during the months of October to December 2021; having practiced teaching with more than 10 years of experience in the area of health, open to all subareas, medicine, dentistry, nursing, among others, in both private and public Institutions. Participants were contacted through the social networks WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook, and through the web portals of each University; data collection was carried out through the semi-structured interview technique, and the interviews were conducted via the web; using Zoom software. The Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis provided the referential framework for the in-depth exploration of the different narratives. The results yielded the grouping of 8 main themes and 25 associated codes. The study concludes that the university teachers participating in the study expressed that their life experience during the pandemic was marked by manifestations of stress, suffering from anxiety, uncertainty, and depression. However, the analysis showed a clear tendency of the interviewees to look to the future with optimism and hope, identifying a marked resilience in regard to the effects of the pandemic and dedication to their work despite the difficulties they faced.

Resumen
Teacher performance evaluation is a process through which teachers are professionally evaluated by the institution where they work and involves self-assessment processes, professional development activities, continuous training, and classroom observation. However, it is being considered a failure path and, consequently, a reason for dissatisfaction among Angolan teachers, without considering the advantages of this process itself. This work aims to analyze teacher performance evaluation as a strategy for Angolan teachers' training. It was developed within the qualitative paradigm using analytical and deductive methods. The maximal relevant information about the topic was obtained from the keywords, constructed categories, defined from the previous consulted investigations, and also were prepared bibliographic content sheets. All this, allowed to analyze works of authors such as Chiavenato (2006), Fernandes(2008), Shute (2008), Coelho e Oliveira (2010), Graça et al. (2011), Martínez de Carrasquero (2020), among others. It is concluded that the Angolan teacher's performance evaluation can be considered a strategy through which his training is guaranteed. In this way, it's possible to get its personal and professional development through dialogue, reflection, assertive interpersonal communication, feedback, and the portfolio, as crucial moments in this process.

Resumen
The informal economy is multifactorial, dynamic, and evolutionary; it falls on various stages of the economic growth of societies and can exist within those people who are in the formal market and among those who are not on formality, which leads to evasion of the payment of the contributions. Still, it continues to help circulate money to be able to continue with day-to-day operations. This document aims to identify the international conceptualization of the informal economy, having as a reference ILO (1972, 2015) Conde González and Marie Delaplace (2016), to identify elements considered by the authors analyzed for its optimal measurement. Therefore, through a qualitative methodology based on a documentary review, descriptive process, and critical content analysis, this document identifies the characteristic elements of the construction of the term informal economy, as well as the indicators that allow specifying the informal economy attributions. It is associated with legal and institutional framework processes, the transformation of the labor market, and labor conditions according to the work or service provided by the person.

Resumen
Ravages of COVID-19 have potentially harmed the restaurant and related industries, which seek to discover the new needs of customers, applying more efficient tools and channels to recover the market. Based on this premise, the objective of this research was to determine the relationship between the 4 C's of marketing and the positioning of the Sabora brand, using a quantitative approach, correlational level, and non-experimental cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 300 customers, from which a random sample of 169 was taken and to whom a 36-item Likert-scale questionnaire was administered. With the data obtained and by means of Spearman's Rho correlation, the authors' hypothesis was confirmed, finding a positive and moderate correlation of 0.657; that is, the results showed that the 4 C's of marketing have a positive and direct relationship with brand positioning, and that, when applied moderately, the positioning of the Sabora brand is also presented in the same way in the district of Huacho, Peru.

Resumen
The objective of the study is to know the reasons that induce people to irresponsibly disseminate information about Covid-19 treatment and to disqualify scientific reports that reject the use of some substances for putting people's health at risk. The rapid dissemination of Covid-19, brought with it a problem equal or more dangerous than viremia itself, such as the irresponsible dissemination of information not supported by science about the treatment of this disease, endangering the health of the population by encouraging the management of risky behaviors that are not scientifically supported. The study carried out is qualitative phenomenological, in this was performed a documentary analysis of videos, and publications on social networks, as well as unstructured interviews to 12 people between 20 and 65 years of age from Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and Venezuela, with inductive analysis in Atlas ti v.22 software, of 3 guiding categories on causes and perceptions of non-responsible dissemination of information and disqualification of scientific evidence, obtaining 9 emerging categories based on rooting and density, with intercategorial triangulation and informants. It was found that individual causes are present in 58%, and social causes in 48% are related to poor health education and lack of sufficient scientific arguments. In evaluating immediate, mediate, and potential influences in the MIC MAC software and after the evaluation of thematic experts, it is evident that poor health education is the most important influencing and influenced element that influences the dissemination of hoaxes and scientific disqualification of information on COVID-19. For this reason, it is recommended that governments and scientists emphasize the form of communication to the population on emerging diseases, carrying out permanent education campaigns on the subject.
