Since, in these disciplines, given their low practicality in professional practice, they happen in different conditions compared to the exact sciences, where the applicability of knowledge assumes practical solutions to specific problems. Thereby, a quantitative study of a non-experimental and descriptive nature was developed to specify the mechanisms of CT in a non-probabilistic convenience sample of 222 teachers from six faculties of the CSH area of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua (UACH), Mexico, collecting data through a questionnaire to identify the degree of use of various CT mechanisms. The most outstanding results are characterized by identifying teachers who practice CT or not, the identification and use of CT mechanisms by these teachers, and, therefore, the verification that the social and human areas can transfer knowledge to problem-solving in any context.
