Los Smartphone son teléfonos inteligentes que están influenciando en el modo de vida particularmente de los jóvenes, y bien utilizados pueden ayudar hasta en las actividades académicas, pero su uso no adecuado puede constituir problemas los afectan. En este contexto se realizó una investigación descriptiva, cuyos objetivos fueron determinar el nivel de uso del Smart-phone, según el sexo, frecuencia y aplicación más utilizada por estudiantes de la Escuela de Administración de Empresa de una Universidad Particular de Chiclayo, durante mayo – julio de 2016. Se administró a 200 estudiantes el test Uso Problemático del Móvil –MPPUS- validado para una población de universitarios. Los resultados indican que el nivel de uso del Smartphone fue habitual en mujeres y hombres, pero es preocupante y alarmante los niveles de uso en riego y uso problemático particularmente en hombres; la frecuencia de uso fue diaria, y los más utilizados el Canal de Mensajería WhatsApp y la Red Social Facebook, ambos más una aplicación.

El objetivo de este estudio fue disponer de información económica respecto a los casos de accidentes de tránsito atendidos en el Hospital Regional de Tumbes. Se realizó un estudio de casos de pacientes que ingresaron por emergencia al Hospital Regional de Tumbes, producto de accidentes de tránsito, durante el período de octubre 2014 a marzo del año 2015. La información epidemiológica considerada fue Edad, Sexo, tipo de lesión diagnóstica según CIE 10, días de estancia Hospitalaria. El costo directo mínimo fue de S/. 15,98, mientras que el costo máximo directo fue de S/. 7594,25 con un rango de S/. 7594,25. Los costos indirectos oscilaron entre S/. 6,67 (para el mínimo) a S/. 1610.00 (para el máximo). El costo económico total fue de S/. 25,98 para el mínimo y S/. 9220,23 para el más elevado. Los costos más altos se observaron en casos de largas estancias hospitalarias y en los pacientes que recibieron procedimientos quirúrgicos. El costo económico asociado a los accidentes de tráfico es más alto en largas estancias hospitalarias en pacientes atendidos en el Hospital Regional de Tumbes y en aquellos pacientes sometidos a procedimientos quirúrgicos.

This paper presents an illustration of logistic regression models in order to explain the death probability versus men’s age in Valencian Community in 2000. First, theoretical principles are developed. Then using R software, a logistic adjustment has been made with the purpose of identifying significance of coefficients based on statistical evidence, and finally calculating odds ratio. The main results have been that a Logistic Regression Model fixed the probability of dying in men´s Valencian Comunity in 2000 and the men´s age is an important factor when probability of dying is computed. 

The present research contains a statistical analysis carried out in the cities of Guayaquil and Quito, in relation to the perception that the employers of public and private institutions with respect to the graduate of ESPOL in the academic formation acquired during their student stay. Some concepts are described such as: information related to the company, knowledge, skills and abilities of the graduate, institutional image, emotional and intellectual background of the professional. The employer assesses the egress and professional profile of the graduating student. Multivariate statistics appreciate the need to strengthen the ability to participate in entrepreneurship activities, especially in technical careers. 

From the Einstein field equations, in a weak-field approximation and for speeds small compared to the speed of light in vacuum, the following system is obtained  where  is the gravitoelectric field,  is the gravitomagnetic field,  is the space-time-mass current density and    is the spacetime-mass density. This last gravitoelectromagnetic field system is similar to the Maxwell equations, thus showing an analogy between the electromagnetic theory and gravitation.

We review some features to be considered when using non-inertial reference systems, showing at the same time effects that are observed in everyday examples. In addition, begin rigorous enough analysis of the energetic influences on the movement with a description but friendlier to the reader to be able to reach more interested in these themes such as teachers, technical or scientific.

One of the great social inequities in the world is the distribution of potable water; this paper presents an application that allows to optimize the distribution of such a precious resource, taking as reference a real locality of the Province of Guayas and through the use of real information obtained from the municipality, the principles of hydraulics and the application of a genetic algorithm, starting from an initial solution obtained by the Hardy-Cross method; an application is developed that allows the economic dimensioning of meshed networks of potable water, application that serves as the basis for the strategic planning of any decentralized autonomous government. 

The present article aims to illustrate a study method on how to approach topological classifications in the family of real quadratic applications through the classification presented by Guillermo Gómez Alcaraz and López de Medrano. In which the author established a classification by conjugating a family into 21 equivalence classes, where each element of this family belongs to one of these classes.  In addition, the dynamic of any of them is determined by the dynamic of a representative of the class composed with an invertible related application. In other words, to study the dynamics of this last composition, to study the dynamics of real quadratic applications on the plane, and to dramatically reduce the number of parameters to 6. [2] In this first article, we illustrate the study for the class F5 in its first part in which it shows that it is possible to establish first the total number of fixed points that can be found in this family. 

 In this article we take a walk disclosure by the history of Greek mathematics, likening it to the Babylonian and Egyptian mathematics for the purposes of illustrating the use of the deductive method by Greeks compared to the empirical method of Egyptians and Babylonians also highlight the contributions of the major Greek mathematicians, like Thales, Pythagoras, Euclid, Archimedes, and others.

We ended up in this section the energy analysis of the motion of a particle and a few special cases such as the motion of a particle under the action of forces of impact and the review of the need for a new mechanism for cases that arise high speed objects, this is compared to the speed of light. The mathematical part of this proposal involves differential calculus and integral calculus.
