This paper is focused on part of a wider research in which students' transition from rural primary school to secondary high schools was analyzed. The research identified aspects that facilitated or complicated the transfer to the new school. Tutorial action was one of the studied aspects because it was considered a relevant element. Tutorial´s objective is improving the education process through actions oriented towards facilitating students’ school life, taking into account both academic and personal aspects, all of them interacting in their learning process. Data collection was based on two case studies: 16 focus groups were made with students, teachers and families in two rural schools and their referential high schools. Findings describe the educational tutorial action during transition, its organization, the coordinated work, and specific actions made by tutors with students, families and teachers; and show certain differentiating features associated to the education context in each educational stage. Conclusions insist on the importance of coordination between schools and the necessity of taking care, especially during transition, of the socialization of students coming from rural areas. Furthermore, conclusions suggest that it is recommendable including transitional actions directed to facilitate the approach and introduction of families to the high school´s institutional body

The study was designed to investigate the usage and its frequency of language learning memory strategies by those students who are learning English as a foreign language in Vocational Studies. A total of 186 students learning English in Hungary, Italy and Spain completed the first nine items of Strategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) questionnaire and a Background Characteristics survey. These two questionnaires were administered and analyzed using google.docs. The results of the research are generalized as follows. The most used memory strategies are I use new English words in a sentence so I can remember them, I think of the relationships between what I already know and new things I learn in English and I remember a new English word by making a mental picture of a situation in which the word might be used.

The objective of this paper is to examine the question of the evaluation of schools present in two educational projects: the pedagogical method of the Society of Jesus called RatioStudiorum and the work of Luis Antonio Verney entitled as true Study Method. One of the main concerns is the pedagogical training of the professors. Verney defends that the University should be open to the community and to the possibilities of the members of the community.

In recent decades there has been a profuse literature on intercultural pedagogy and the phenomenon of cultural diversity in formal educational contexts. Now, aside from studies devoted to the analysis of the concept of interculturality construct, just there has been scientific papers about the role played by immigrant students learning styles, and, where appropriate, those learning styles are mediated and modulated by the setting of educational contexts where interculturalism has been implemented through specific programseducational units or specific actions. This is the purpose of this article, provide a set of educational insights to address conceptual linkages between learning styles and intercultural education at school.

Palabras clave: Mediador, mediación, extrinsecismo, sobrenatural Abstract: Overcoming extrinsecism is an urgent task in the defense of the rationality of theology. M. Blondel’s (1861-1949) thought, as it appears in his early works, provides elements capable of sustaining this improvement. This paper examines the different levels in Blondelian philosophy of action’s process of achieving unity in knowledge and reality: the dialectic of action, the mediation of action, the immanent and anonymous supernatural, and the Mediator. Taking the Mediator as a starting point, it is possible to avoid all kinds of separation that harm theology’s rational consistency while considering the Christian mystery. Keywords: Mediator, mediation, extrinsecism, supernatural

The new economic governance has pursued a radical decentralisation of collective bargaining. The European system of economic policies represents a new model that can be described as new European interventionism and marks a paradigm change in the EU’s approach to collective bargaining to direct political intervention in national bargaining outcomes and procedures. The European economic governance pressure was very clearly on Italy, where the industrial relations system is strongly under pressure, since the “secret” letter sent from the ECB to Italy on August 5th, 2011, which immediately influenced both Italian legislator and social parties. This paper focuses on the trends of the Italian firm-level bargaining system from the perspective of the subjects who negotiate and the agreements’ effectiveness. In relation to the subjects, in Italy this pressure resulted in the adoption of the majority principle. From another point of view, in Italy, until the end of last century, the national-level collective agreement seemed to be ‘inviolable’, inserted as it was in a context of absolute centrality. If this was the traditional approach, in recent years the Italian system has experienced a shift away from the model, where the legal support has been combined with a ‘deconstruction’ of collective regulation. Here we will briefly consider these more recent dynamics, in particular by the intervention made by the Italian legislator with the so-called economic manoeuvre of August 2011 (Legislative Decree No. 138/2011, converted by Law No. 148/2011), which, in a framework of progressive fragmentation of labour relations, changed traditional attitudes.

Women have achieved significant progresses in the labor market. Our activity rates and employment have increased considerably; we have located in sectors where there were no female presence, etc. However, there are still outstanding critical challenges. Unemployment rates are still considerably higher than male; we are majority in part-time and primarily responsible for family reconciliation, with the limitations that this implies in the workplace; we have lower wages and greater difficulties in promoting in labor, and so on. In this paper we focus on two specific regions: Andalusia and Yucatan. These regions have peculiarities in their respective countries (Spain and Mexico) that make them interesting to contrast the situation of women’s employment and situations of inequality in the labor markets of both territories.
