Resumen
This paper deals with interpretation in science. Hermeneutics is the science and art of interpretation, and interpretation is the understanding of meaning, either from a text, a behavior or process. Before science classifies natural and social processes, language has made an arrangement. Language organizes our experience of the world, but, conversely, the natural and social world is re-created in the language we use to indicate and express it. The scientific community tries to create universal languages, such as mathematics or the language of chemistry. Nonetheless, science is rooted in everyday language, because it is not separated from it. Language, although conventional, is an ancient work whose ultimate origin is unknown. Scientific theory is a language that refers to some aspect of reality, therefore, it is also an interpretation.

Resumen
Daily, ideological battles are being waged on the surrounding environment between organizations and institutions with local, national and international agencies and public corporations represented by the state and multinational corporations and transnational. The discussion generated among these groups has the effect of increasing citizen participation on the subject, to the point of placing the same within a national and even international context. All in one way or another we are partakers of environmental problems, because otherwise we will be at the mercy of the effects of environmental imbalance caused by the action of humans on ecosystems. For this reason, efforts to solve a problem in a community, region or nation must be aimed at building sustainable societies and to create spaces, ever widening, where we can keep intact the surrounding environment. The actions in this regard should be aimed at solving environmental problems through concerted action among all the warring parties.

Resumen
This paper presents the University of Puerto Rico, College of General Studies (FEG1), theoretical model for English language learning. It discusses the work of a committee that has utilized the concept of General Education to construct a conceptual model of communicative and linguistic competence for academic purposes. The English department serves non-native speakers of English having diverse proficiencies, from beginning ESL to higher-level students who are equally comfortable in both Spanish and English. The model harmonizes general educational goals, teaching philosophy, and interdisciplinary approach to learning.

Resumen
Currently, both face the virtual education, require new training, being necessary for the second, a new social space (internet), create new schools with scenarios, tools and methods for these new processes. It is possible that in online education there is recognition and acceptance by multiculturalism, which is indispensable for the integration of the companies in this global world. Technology, and intercultural education are related in a complex plot, so it is necessary to evaluate the speeches of the education system in Mexico. The problem with this lies in the social resistance of indigenous peoples to seize these new technologies and whether the dominant culture allows sociocultural pairing between them and the new skills.

Resumen
This essay presents the epistemological foundation of three general education modes that have been developing during the 20th century and the first decade of this century. The pertinence and actuality of each one, as well as their relationship with new knowledge theories, are closely related to the concepts which support them. Departing from this notion, John Dewey‘s empiric instrumentalism is proposed as the most appropriate epistemological foundation for general education in the 21st century.

Resumen
This article examines Condorcet‘s Memoirs, a basic document for understanding
the installation of the predominance of a scientific and technological bend in modern education, an influence which prevails until today. Nicholas Condorcet‘s addresses to the Revolutionary French Government (1792) in order to introduce a reform in public instruction initiate the ascendence of a scientific and technological approach to education which coincide with the decline of humanistic schooling.
