Resumen
The fight against drug trafficking has had an impact on Mexico's image abroad. This fact did not go unnoticed by the Hollywood cinema. This film industry not only exhibits films but also messages and ideology, as well as stereotypes. In this way, this work has as main objective to describe the stereotypes on Mexico and the Mexican projected Hollywood, as well as to determine the responsibility of the United States on the phenomenon of the narco-traffic, in the narratives of the films. In order to carry out this investigation the technique of Content Analysis was used in order to carry out a systematic and objective description of the media contents of the eight films. Films like Jack and Hill, Predators, Trade crime without pardon, Catch the gringo, Machete, My father's house, Savages and A chihuahua in Beverly Hills were selected because of their reference to the image of Mexico and the Mexicans. The variable that was used is the stereotype whose categories will be categorized dichotomously. These categories were divided into Positive and Negative. In the Positive category are the adjectives favorable to the image of Mexico and the Mexicans. In contrast, the negative category is the adjectives unfavorable to the image of Mexico and the Mexicans. These categories were operationalized for the analysis of the films. The results of the research show that American cinema negatively stereotypes Mexicans, projecting them as violent and irrational. On the other hand Mexico is projected as a country with little urbanization and with systemic corruption. However, the Hollywood film industry is beginning to recognize that Americans, and not just Mexicans, are involved in the world of drug trafficking. This indicates that corruption is not exclusive to Mexico.

This article discusses the culture in the context of globalization and cultural relations of the global and local. We start from a reflection on the concept of globalization, followed by notes about a possible global culture. Later, we argue that the global information andentertainment streams cannot impose a uniform culture able to extinguish local cultures, but that they are able to make a new "reading" of global products and values that emerge across the planet. We also believe that communities have communication mechanisms that interpret and recodificam the massive flows to the popular language.

Sickness among teachers is a recurring reality among the public and private basic education networks in Brazil, reflecting the quality of education and, consequently, threatening the opportunity of a citizenship education for students. According to this premise, we present the results of an exploratory study with 87 Portuguese and Math teachers from the city of Recife, aiming to identify their burnout level. In order to perform the investigation a burnout measurement questionnaire elaborated by Cristina Maslach and Jackson (1981) was applied to those teachers, evaluating possible Burnout manifestations. A socio-demographic questionnaire was associated with the previous instrument. Our results imply that the burnout syndrome is prevaling among them.

Resumen
The article presents the results of one research in which an analysis of the levels of social appropriation as support of the mobile government in the generation APP (young people) is achieved. In Venezuela, the total access to cell phones by the population is generated by the need for communication of citizens, which has encouraged users to open the spaces for participation and mobilization that may not have been sufficiently effective since the initiatives of the State. The study is an exploratory-descriptive one, under the technique of the structured interview in which a self-administered questionnaire was applied to 973 young university students of the University of Zulia who were intensive users of mobile telephony. The work revolves around three theoretical constructs: social appropriation, mobile government and the APP generation. The results indicate that with regard to appropriation, the APP generation studied does not exceed the level of "Meaningful use", they do not explore the political potential of the mobile government posed by Páez (2011) and are app-dependent.

Over the last years in Costa Rica, there has been a worrying increase in the number of people infected by Dengue. This situation reveals the necessity of searching for the causes that promote the mosquito’s proliferation; especially concerning the relationship with environmental type that affects life cycle of the vector, such as atmospheric phenomena: El Niño/Southern Oscillation (ENSO). Objective: The investigation objective was to analyze the effect that ENOS has in the propagation of the Dengue virus in Pacífico Central and Huetar Atlántico in Costa Rica between 1990 and 2011. Methods: It was used an experimental, ecological study and different sources like Ministerio de Salud (MINSA), the Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) and the Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos (INEC) as primarily information bases. Results: The monthly impact accumulated of Dengue grew up during the Warm Phase at the Pacífico, and it decreased at The Caribe, while during the Cold Phase the monthly impact accumulated expanded at The Caribe and detracted at the Pacífico. Conclusions: Among the numerous findings, it turns out that the ENSO phenomenon alters the percentage of the people infected at the littorals in an inverse way.

Resumen
The objective of the present study was the analysis of the prevalence of overweight and obesity in preschool children intervened by the Póngale Vida Model in 2013, in the canton of Turrialba, Costa Rica. Population: 643 preschoolers from public institutions in Turrialba (2013). The educational system consists of two cycles for preschool: Maternal and Infant and Transition. Anthropometric data were collected at each school by teachers trained staff ‘Póngale Vida’ (2013). Anthropometric status was evaluated according to the criteria of the World Health Organization (WHO) 2008. The prevalence of excessive weight (overweight and obesity), was 18%, which is lower than reported by the National Nutrition Survey 2008-2009 (NNS) Costa Rica (21,4% (Ministry of Health of Costa Rica, 2009). Underweight was 8%, which is higher than the nationally reported by NNS 6.1% (Ministry of Health of Costa Rica, 2009). 94% of preschool children have normal height. Rural area (5%) had lower prevalence of underweight compared to urban areas (8%); overweight was similar. Higher percentage of underweight and overweight is observed among girls (9% and 19%) than in boys (6% and 16% respectively). In the range from 5 years to 6 years and 9 months (cycle Transition), occurred 87.5% of the cases of underweight, 93% of the ones of overweight and all cases (100%) of obesity. The frequency of breakfast, snack and dinner, the transportation medium, the playing hours and watching TV may influence nutritional status. Conclusion: There are differences in data regionally and nationwide of excess weight and associated factors. Further studies are recommended.

Resumen
Objective: the aim of this study was to describe the environmental factors of families with schoolchildren from two public schools with different prevalence of overweight. Methods: the study was descriptive and included 241 families of schoolchildren from two schools of Canton La Union. These families were surveyed at their home. The survey included environmental and sociodemographic variables. Results: the school with the lowest percentage of overweight displayed the highest level of education and the highest income. The quantity of places reported for buying foods by both study groups was 91 and 101 respectively. This included mostly grocery stores, convenience stores, retail supermarkets and fast-food restaurants. The main reasons for choosing the place to buy food in both groups were the price and proximity to the place of residency. The number of locations for physical activity reported by the families of schoolchildren with the lowest prevalence of overweight doubled the one reported by families of schoolchildren with higher prevalence of overweight. Conclusions: The main difference in the environment is given by the availability of places for the practice of physical activity, which also coincides with the fact that the families of school children with a higher prevalence of overweight show lower schooling and lower income.

Resumen
Objective: To investigate the duration of breastfeeding in an urban and a rural community in Costa Rica. Methods: A cross - sectional descriptive study on the onset and duration of breastfeeding in children under 5 years of age was carried out. The sample consisted of 92 mothers, 39 girls and 64 boys. To collect the information, a home visit was carried out, where a feeding questionnaire was completed. Results: 83,5% of the children were breastfed in the first two hours after childbirth, increasing to 94.2% after this time, with the rural area showing the highest proportion of cases. Mothers reported exclusively breastfeeding in 78.6% of cases (77.6% and 80,0% in urban and rural areas, respectively). The average duration of exclusive breastfeeding in the studied children is 4.1 ± 2.4 months with a range that ranges from 0 to 8 months of life. Although there are no statistically significant differences according to place of residence, it is observed that the rural community is where children exclusively receive breast milk (4,4 ± 2,1) compared to the urban community (3, 9 ± 2.6). However, only 42.7% of the children reach six months of age with milk from their mothers, with the urban area having the highest proportion of children fed in this way (43.3%), in comparison with the rural area (42,2%). Conclusion: A low percentage of children reach six months of age fed only with their mothers' milk, with the rural area showing greater duration. However, this difference is not statistically significant.
