Objective: Characterize the agricultural production of the state of Querétaro during 2018 to facilitate business decision-making and propose public and private strategies for the development of high-value agrifood production projects. Design/methodology/approach: The analysis was carried out from bibliometric exploration and statistical data collection from different agrifood information platforms. Results: The municipalities of Pedro Escobedo, Colón, San Juan del Río, and El Marqués have established crops of grains, vegetables, forage grasses, and roses, through productive projects of private initiative with an agribusiness vision, due to the use of knowledge, technological innovations, and market intelligence. Limitations of the study/implications: Lack of information to establish the current agricultural vocation of the state of Querétaro. Findings/conclusions: Based on the perspectives of specialized markets at the national and international level, the state of Querétaro has several strategic and competitive advantages for the establishment of high-impact agricultural projects.

Objective:  To know the importance of the formulation of “ideal protein” diets for nursery-growing pigs. Design/methodology/approach: A bibliographic review of the concept of ideal protein and low-protein in pigs diets to determine their practical application in commercial production. Results: Low-protein diets in pig production is an environmentally friendly strategy. The 3 percentage units of reduction in CP is the maximum level when only crystalline lysine, methionine, threonine and tryptophan are available. However, when there is a greater number of synthetic amino acids, the reduction in CP can be in a range of 4-5 percentage units.  Study limitations/implications: Market conditions allow the incorporation of lysine, methionine, threonine and tryptophan into the diet. Potentially in a short time the availability and price of valine could be considered within commercial diets. However, at the moment the inclusion of other AA is not permissible due to the low availability and high price in the market. Findings/conclusions: Low-protein diets should be used in the production of pigs, since it maintains or improves the productive variables and reduces the environmental impact, due to the reduction of nitrogen excretion to the environment.

Mango (Mangifera indica L.) is the fifth most cultivated vegetable in the world. One way to classify the mango is according to the color of the peel, they are classified as green, yellow and red. Color is a visual attribute that defines consumer preference in some countries. This diversity of pigmentation is defined by families of genes that code for the production of proteins, which lead to biosynthetic pathways responsible for the production of vitamins and their precursors. In Mexico there is a wide range of colors in the native mango germplasm, which could represent an important source of antioxidants, pigments and would bring benefits for the human health of Mexicans, through the consumption of fresh fruit, or commercial / industrial exploitation of these. According to the literature, this diversity of colors represents a genetic wealth that could be exploited in the genetic improvement programs of the species in the country, to generate new varieties with desirable characteristics in the national and international market. In order to gather and discuss information that contributes to understanding the biochemical and genetic processes that determine said pigmentation and the production of vitamins in mango, this review makes a description of the main genes involved and the biosynthetic pathways of the most common pigments, considering the impact on human health when consuming them, and highlighting the challenges and opportunities that could arise from the use of pigments from Mexican germplasm.

Objective: Identify the basic geostatistical areas (AGEBS) that until 2019 are classified as priority attention areas, and carry out an analysis on the lack of equipment and assess indicators for monitoring the sustainable development of the municipality of Chihuahua in the urban environment.Design/methodology/approach: The methodology used was analytical-synthetic, bibliographic techniques and statistics to study the levels that are reflected at national and municipal level, as well as the indicators of areas with social backwardness, to contribute with proposals for the improvement  of these areas. Results: In the city of Chihuahua, Chih., marginalization levels were diagnosed, so it was detected that 3% of the city's population lives in areas where equipment is scarce or null, and this favors the low development of inhabitants found in these areas of the city.Limitations on study/implications: The distances that the different types of equipment have in the city were determined, and access to the different types of equipment that are considered as the most basic, such as education and health, remain within less accessible distances.Findings/conclusions: Present the compact, connected and close city model, densifying the main sub-centers of the city and optimizing the resources required for the provision, of either services or the infrastructure necessary for the provision of urban equipment, to prevent the city from continuing to grow disproportionately. Keywords: geostatistics, urban equipment, services, sustainable development.

This commentary focuses on the exegesis of It, by Juan Ceyles Domínguez, a groundbreaking romance, disproportionate, that voluntarily tears apart the limits traditionally established by literary genres. The work narrates, thus, the life of those who advance on their own path in search of an unknown identity, of those who travel through devastation, through the desolate space that rises, like dreams, on a dark background at the limits of art and madness. Therefore, the book is a pretext to narrate the life of someone who slides towards death without leaving any trace. It is a path that builds and destroys itself.

Commentary on the books by Pedro Aullón de Haro, La Escuela Universalista Española del siglo XVIII (2016), by Pedro Aullón de Haro and Jesús García Gabaldón, Juan Andrés y la Escuela Universalista Española (2017), and by Pedro Aullón de Haro and Davide Mombelli, Introduction to the Spanish Universalist School (Enlightened Culture and Education versus Politics) (2020), that offer the foundation and reconstruction of the Spanish Universalist School of the eighteenth century, one of the decisive moments of Hispanic Culture, and of the History of Ideas and Thought, whose comparatist methodology becomes universalist, resulting in a solid establishment of modern Comparatism as well as a possible orientation or possible content for our current era of Globalization.

Imprisonment is meant to be a punishment, a torture if you will, but not a place of detention where the prisoner is indifferent to his fate. However, we see in the Stranger by Albert Camus characters who find themselves, or will find themselves in situations of captivity, but who face them with honesty or indifference. They are called anti-prisoners —beings who reverse the effect of penal psychology. Instead of suffering from the experience, they triumph over it and end up freeing themselves in their own way. If we observe penal psychology over the centuries, we will see that these characters reflect a true segment of the prison population by their unusual reaction.Meursault’s mother spent the last years of her life in an old people’s home where she was happy, or at least satisfied. Salamano’s spaniel escapes to end his ordeal. In doing so, he destroys the joy of punishing that Salamano exerted. Meursault himself ends up completely flouting both his lawyer and the investigating judge as well as the prosecutor by refusing to play the legal game, to fight to save his life in a dishonest way. These three characters are not prisoners, but anti-prisoners. They escape from their jailer and destroy the psychology of the punishment process. Camus has created beings that may seem unlikely, but which signal the strength of the rebels who maintain their self esteem.
