Resumen
Objective: The present research consisted of evaluating the effect of a virtual educational intervention to promote the early beginning of breastfeeding (ITLM, for its Spanish acronym) in pregnant women who are users of Los Libertadores health center, located in Lima (Peru), in 2021. Materials and methods: An analytical, longitudinal, and prospective study of the virtual educational intervention method was carried out on pregnant women in a health institution in Lima from January 26th to February 9th, 2021. The sample consisted of 40 pregnant women who live in Lima. For data collection, a questionnaire made up of 12 questions was applied, which was previously validated by five expert judges obtaining good reliability: Cronbach's Alpha was 0.90. In addition, the flipchart got a Cronbach's Alpha of 0.831. Results: There was an increase in knowledge after the educational intervention (p<0.05) and 83.33% of the pregnant women who belonged to the experimental group started breastfeeding early after the intervention (p<0.001). Conclusion: The virtual educational intervention shows a positive impact on the increase in knowledge of pregnant women from the early initiation of breastfeeding in the experimental group to when their children were born. So, it was recommended that this program should be promoted from the prenatal care stage.

Resumen
Introduction: In the 20th century, childbirth went from being attended at home to the hospital setting. Inappropriate and unnecessary interventions were uncritically adopted, leading to a dehumanization of childbirth. This is the model that currently exists in most Spanish hospitals, which has been questioned by the World Health Organization as early as 1996. Objective: The aim is to describe the differences in obstetrical and neonatal results across two different models of maternity care (biomedical model and humanised birth). Method: A correlational descriptive and multicenter study was carried out. A convenience sample of 205 primiparous women, 110 biomedical model and 95 humanised model, were recruited. Obstetrical and neonatal results were compared in two hospitals with different models of maternity care in Spain. Results: The humanised model of maternity care produces better obstetrical outcomes (spontaneous beginning of labour, normal vaginal birth, intact perineum and I degree tear and less episiotomies) than the biomedical model. There were no differences in neonatal outcomes. Conclusion: The benefits of implementing a humanised model of delivery care should be considered by health policy makers and reflected in the woman and her baby.

Resumen
Introduction: Workers engaged in the driving field are exposed to factors that hinder their work tasks, such as: problems associated with temperature, noise and vibrations, insufficient and inefficient ventilation, traffic jams and interpersonal relationships with passengers. Objective: To identify, in the available state of the art, which interventions promote the health of professional drivers. Method: Systematic review, following the recommendations of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA), guided by the question: what interventions promote the health of professional drivers? Results: The search yielded 1303 articles, of which 11 were included; the interventions identified were associated with handheld devices and mobile health messaging, motivational interviewing, interactive documents, exposure to natural environments, intensive programs, counseling, policy-level changes, environmental and systems changes. Conclusion: Interventions were identified that included technology, interviews, the environment and strategic control; the implementation of the identified interventions is recommended, since it is urgent to address the health of professional drivers, considering the characteristics described in this study.

Resumen
Introduction: Although the training of nurses in administration and leadership has an important repercussion on the present and the future of the profession, teaching methods are still traditional in many cases. Flipped classroom is a widely used method in nursing education but studies about its application to Nursing Administration and Management are limited. Method: Qualitative study by means of anonymous survey (dichotomous and open questions). Results: 92 % of students were shown to be satisfied with the teaching methodology and 92.9 % with the assessment. Only 31.5 % had used it previously but 83 % would like to use it in more subjects. The students showed that the methodology used had improved their opinion about the content and had increased their perception its usefulness. Conclusion: The participating students have been shown to be satisfied with flipped method and continuous assessment. These teaching strategies can help motivate nursing students towards the subject of Nursing Administration and Management, which can encourage them to pursue postgraduate training and professional practice in this area.

Resumen
Objective: To analyze the relationship between the biographical approach and the illustration, from an interpretative paradigm, following the theoretical-methodological guidelines of the biographical-narrative approach. Methodology: It includes the interpretation of narratives constructed by the researchers, which are captured in an image or graphic illustration that is offered to those who participate in the study for their approval, followed by a theoretical discussion of the place of the image in the current context. The article describes the methodological process of producing these images, including an analysis of two experiences. Result: The analyzed experiences serve as background for the final product of this research, which reconstructs research trajectories and transitions of exponents of a discipline. The methodological process of production of these images is discussed, hence, this proposal of biographical illustrations is subsequently translated into a book-album that includes sixteen testimonies of social workers. Conclusion: It is highlighted the importance of developing a reflexive process on qualitative research practices and backroom analysis of research results, including science dissemination activities in non-academic formats.

Resumen
Introduction: The low-power laser is a technique used in several areas of health: physiotherapy, dentistry, otorhinolaryngology and dermatology, among others. To achieve therapeutic effects, the dosage is essential and depends on the energy levels emitted by the device. Objective: To know the status of calibration and maintenance of low power laser therapy devices, in physiotherapy services or counterparts of institutions in Montevideo - Uruguay. Method: A descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted in physiotherapy services in Montevideo, Uruguay. 20 low-power laser devices were analyzed. Results: 7 of the devices evaluated remained within the appropriate emission limits. Of the 13 lasers outside the limits to deliver adequate emission, 6 had a slight mismatch, 1 had a moderate mismatch, and 6 presented a severe mismatch. Among the total devices evaluated, only 6 had performed a previous calibration and only 2 of these were within the recommended times frames. Conclusion: A large number of low-power laser devices with imbalances in their emission was observed. In most cases, low-power laser devices are not properly maintained. Equipment should be timely calibrated in order to offer safe and effective therapy to users.

Resumen
Objective: Our aim was to understand cancer survivors’ meanings of life after their cancer experience. Method: This was a biographical and qualitative study carried out from a naturalistic approach. We conducted in-depth interviews with five cancer survivors and analyzed the resulting content. Results: We found four categories: the stigma of cancer in survivorship; survivorship support networks; self-care in survivorship; and transcendence. The results gave us a greater understanding of survivors’ needs and how they are being addressed by healthcare providers in Colombia. Conclusions: Cancer survivors shift towards a more holistic view of their health and transform the meaning of their life based on reflection and belief in God. Therefore, the nursing practice should focus on assisting them in these changes since healing.

Resumen
Introduction: Quality of life at work (QOL) or quality of work life (QWL) expresses the satisfaction of workers, in this case nurses, which is directly related to the safety and quality of patient care. Objective: To identify, from the scientific literature, levels of satisfaction with quality of life at work among Latin American nurses, associated risk factors and repercussions on health. Methodology: An integrative review was carried out in PubMed, SciELO, BVS and Google Scholar databases related to studies published in the period January 2011 - August 2021, in English, Portuguese and Spanish. Results: 13 articles were selected that met the inclusion criteria, conducted in health personnel that included nurses. Three categories of analysis were established: satisfaction and dissatisfaction with quality of life at work by levels, dimensions and domains; social and labor factors associated with QOL; and quality of life at work and its impact on health. Conclusion: The review made it possible to identify, even in a limited way, that the quality of life at work of Latin American nurses mostly reached medium to low levels, influenced by sociodemographic and labor factors, and with repercussions on nurses' health. Therefore, it is important to study the subject in depth, considering that dissatisfaction with the quality of life at work of these professionals can have repercussions on their own health as well as on the quality of care.

Resumen
Introduction: The family is responsible for the care of the elderly, giving rise to the informal caregiver. Objective: To describe the self-care of the informal caregiver of the elderly in some Latin American countries. Methodology: Descriptive review, on the following databases: PubMed, Scopus, SciELO, Web of Science, Redalyc and Dialnet; analyzing full-text scientific articles of the last 13 years (2009-2022) in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Complementary documents related to the subject were searched on Web pages of national institutions of Latin American countries. Results: The analysis of the 25 scientific articles and 4 selected documents allowed to identify 4 axes: concepts of care, caregiver and types of caregivers; health of the informal caregiver of the elderly; theoretical basis of self-care and implementation of programs to care for the caregiver in some Latin American countries. Conclusions: It is evident that the self-care of caregivers of older people is decreased, directly affecting the health of this. Several Latin American countries support the informal caregiver, however, there is still much to be done for caregivers.
