Resumen
Traffic control in data networks has recently become very important due to the massive use of computer networks in different areas of society. Different techniques are usually used to carry out effective traffic control, allowing, among other things, to classify, predict and monitor network traffic. These techniques have evolved and are currently supported by artificial intelligence tools, which have made it possible to improve the results obtained with conventional techniques. This paper collects the different contributions made by the field of artificial intelligence to the improvement of these techniques and network management in general. The article describes the contributions made in aspects such as security, prediction, and classification of data traffic, as well as the optimization of routing in a computer network.

Resumen
This article covers the analysis and simulation of an off-grid electrical generation system based on renewable sources without energy storage. First of all, strategies for regulation of DC link voltages are proposed for a photovoltaic unit and a self-excited generator. In the first case, a modified maximum power point tracking algorithm has been implemented. For the self-excited generator, a combination of mechanical (turbine), electromechanical (induction machine), electrical (rectifier) and electronic (PI control of power converter) conversions, were performed. Hence, after having regulated the input voltage of the power inverter, all the effort relied on a droop controller allowing power sharing to distribute reasonably the demand among generators of the grid. The proposed system is potentially a low-cost solution for electrification of rural zones of Colombia.

Resumen
Thanks to their properties, the use of composite materials in industrial applications has increased in recent decades, especially those with natural fiber reinforcements due to their lower environmental impact; however, one of the great challenges presented by this type of material is to shape them by cutting as their surface integrity can be compromised. In the present work, morphological analysis is carried out on a composite material with fique fiber, evaluating the superficial affectation by cutting made with a conventional tool, laser, and water jet. The material was made with six layers of fique fiber and polyester resin. The morphological study was carried out through scanning electron microscopy, where high defects were evidenced with the conventional tool, an affectation to the matrix in laser cutting, and a low surface impact using the water jet.

Resumen
The objective of the work was to determine the incidence of the sampling depth on the carbon and nitrogen content in soils of the municipality of Zona Bananera of the department of Magdalena (Colombia). Data analysis was performed with statistical software Infostat v.2008 and R v.3.5.2, using multivariate analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation analysis, and descriptive statistics of each variable. The results show significant differences (p<0,05) between the depth groups for the selected variables, with lower contents found at depth 2. In addition, there is a significant contribution of the variables to the statistical differences between the groups, except for ammonium and nitrate. Correlation is evident between the variables C oxidizable/MO, NO3-/NO2-, and NH4+/C oxidizable/MO. The results obtained showed low Pearson correlation coefficients. It is concluded that the variables C oxidizable and MO are strongly related, while the others present a non-linear relationship.

Resumen
Nanoemulsions are nano-sized emulsified systems. They can be produced by different methods, which can be classified as low and high-energy methods. The decrease in the size of formed globules allows them to penetrate different barriers such as the skin or the gastrointestinal barrier. Thus, the encapsulation of active compounds through nanoemulsions makes it possible to improve their bioavailability and to offer protection against environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, or UV radiation. In the same way, it is possible to formulate double nanoemulsions to encapsulate hydrophilic and lipophilic molecules in one single globule. Their formulation process requires a comprehensive analysis involving physical and thermodynamic approaches.

Resumen
Rural education has faced challenges in recent years related to difficulties in the population's access to school and little or no connection to information networks, which were more evident in times of pandemic. This article is the result of doctoral research Parental role and education in times of pandemic. Experiences in a unitary school in rural Pennsylvania. Caldas-Colombia. It shows the research works establishing a relationship between rural education, technology, pandemic, constructivism, and parental role. Fifty studies from various sources were addressed between 2017 and 2021. The methodology was based on the documentary analysis described by Quintana and Montgomery, and state of the art was addressed by levels, where the study of international research was done, then Latin American, and finally the national and regional ones. In the analysis of the investigations, it was found that, in many countries, especially in rural areas, the population faces problems with an internet connection, difficulties in infrastructure and technological equipment, which has hindered the continuity of daily life, the coverage, and quality of education in times of covid-19.

Resumen
Hydrogen is an essential energy vector considering a transition to a decarbonized system and microalgae are one of the most promising resources for its production. The aim of this work is to review studies related to the production of biohydrogen by means of microalgae to determine and evaluate the different production methods and those factors that affect them, as well as their limitations, considering research carried out all over the world and especially in Colombia. The results have shown that dark fermentation has several advantages compared to other methods, it does not demand large growing spaces, hydrogen is produced at a high rate and with high efficiency, and valuable by-products can be obtained. This makes biohydrogen an attractive energy alternative for the country.
