Since the beginning of this century French cinema has founded a unique universe in which, on one hand, new reports are showing an interest in sexuality and intimacy of the body and, on the other hand, the same bodies are willing to accept the sacrifice, rape or death in exchange for getting it wish. From the analysis of numerous films, the following article exposes that the tendency of new generations born in the transfer of a forged desire and realism that transcends into the fantastic. This transfer involves an investment of codes of French tradition while responding to the same reflection on the image that Nouvelle Vague conceived as travel and search for the Other

Resumen
Lionel Duroy’s novels are a paradigmatic example of general success, not only among the self-fiction readers. In this article, the image of the mother will be analysed from several points of view -psychoanalytical, narrative and generic. So, in the diverse context of self-literature, psychological, social and ideological features of the mother will be studied first in Duroy’s novels. Later, we will analyse the image of the mother as a stimulus in the writing process. Finally, the function of the oedipal conflict in these novels and the influence on its narrative construction will be dissected. This subject will allow us to establish interesting connections with Rousseau’s Confessions

Resumen
One of the most unknown works today by Barbey d’Aurevilly, whose material history is notably complex, gained instant recognition in the Spanish fiction panorama. Ce qui ne meurt pas (1884), that same year of the second edition, became Lo que no muere, published by Ricardo Pérez (Madrid, El Cosmos Editorial).
This article presents the results of a first study about the history of Barbey’s reception in Spain, centring on this remarkable novel and based on the editorial history of the original work and its translation to trace the history of its reception, especially from the 19th and early 20th century French and Spanish periodical sources.

Resumen
This article intends to appraise the work Le partage des mots of Claude Esteban, aiming to analyse the consequences of the author's exile due to the Spanish Civil War. Therefore, we will focus on three main areas. First, the linguistic conflict, which involves the author's inability to deal with the arbitrariness of the sign. Second, the impact that this inability had on Esteban's relationship with his father and how it was reflected in his work. Thirdly, the resolution of that conflict through the acceptance of the inherent duality of being human and the birth of a new form of expression in the author: poetry

Resumen
The learning process of mother tongue depends on proficiency in comprehension and interpreting. Results from PISA 2009 and PISA 2012 Assessment Framework (OECD), measuring the knowledge, skills and attitudes of 15-year-olds over the last ten years, show that Spain performs below the average of OECD countries in reading literacy. This low performance can be extended to second language learning. The results obtained in reading literacy by Spanish pupils studying French as a foreign language highlight a problem concerning text deep comprehension and inner text organization. In this paper, we will show how the inattentiveness, the cursory reading and, at the same time, the basic lack of proficiency in cognitive and some discursive abilities may be the main cause of reading incomprehension

Resumen
150 years ago, in June 1867, the execution of Maximilian of Habsburg by Benito Juarez’s men marked the end of the Second Mexican Empire. One year earlier, the Em-press Carlota had returned to Europe to request from Napoleon III that he maintain his troops in Mexico and from Pope Pius IX that he sign a concordat to save the Empire, but to no avail. With these setbacks, Carlota’s mental breakdown became increasingly obvious and notorious… In these pages, we recount the Belgian princess’s progressive descent into madness as told by novelists in French language. A tragic fairy tale…
