Wetlands has a vital role from an ecological and socio-economic perspective. Confronted with the idea outdated and unhealthy places and low productivity, today are considered strategic and crucial for ecosystem services provided by ecosystems, increasing dampers, special conservation sites biota. Based on a bibliographic review of the ecological status of wetlands in Colombia in the last 15 years, we analyzed the most frequent and common factors, problems and impacts presented in 29 Colombian wetlands. A prospective methodology was applied through The MICMAC® software, in order to know and prioritize the factors that are most sensitive to the transformation of the ecosystem and on which mitigation, preservation and/or conservation actions should be taken. It was found that the urban processes are a factor of high impact in the deterioration of the wetland. The potential and robustness of the MICMAC® software as a prospective analysis tool could be verified, which could be used by environmental authorities to improve decision making regarding what to do?, how to act?, and what to expect? Of the factors and problems that occur in wetlands.

Implementation of REDD programs requires accurate estimates of forest carbon. This study reports biomass and carbon in a forest of the Nonuya-Villazul indigenous reservation (RVN) in the Colombian Amazon, based on a permanent plot of 6 ha. The local spatial variation of the biomass and the contribution of the undergrowth were evaluated, two factors that are rarely taken into account. A total average biomass of 336.1 ± 14.0 t.ha-1 was found; 11.5% is in the understory (DAP 1-10 cm) and 88.5% corresponds to trees with DBH ≥ 10 cm; large trees (DAP ≥ 70 cm) are few (4 ± 1 ha) and have a low contribution to total biomass (6.8%) compared to other tropical forests. The biomass is within the range reported for the Amazon basin, is superior to the Western Amazon and similar to the Colombian Amazon. Considering that the RVN has 208800 ha in unflooded forests, a total average of 31.0 Mt C (95% CI 29.1 - 32.04) was estimated. These results allow to locate the forests of the RVN in a global context and improve the forest carbon estimations in the Colombian Amazon.

In order to improve the control programs of the invasive species Genista monspessulana, in two scenarios of ecological restoration with different light availability in Bogotá, we analyzed the seed bank regeneration pattern and the initial development of the individuals. For that, coverage, abundance, height, epigeal and hypogeal length, number of leaflets, leaf area, root diameter, number of root branches, presence of nodules and biomass epigeal and hypogeal of the seedlings were studied. Seedling development as well as seedbank regeneration showed differences in the ecological scenarios. In the area under tree canopy, individuals presented slow growth, limited by litter cover and low light availability, while in the open area with greater light incidence, the individuals showed a rapid development of the leaves and roots, in addition of the mutualistic association with microorganisms that allows them greater absorption and fixation of nitrogen.

The Colombian writer Rafael Pombo writes a Diary from 3 August 1855 to 5 may, 1856 in New York. When he was twenty-two years old, he travels as a diplomatic attaché as a Secretary of the Colombian Legation in the United States in charge of Pedro Alcántara Herrán. The Diary expresses the necessity of breaking with the preferentiality that represents the society and build the dynamic in which the self- unsatisfied and romantic lives. Thus, the Diary exposes the consolidation of the self into two ways; the public, due to the path it seeks to get in the cultural, literate horizon in favor of 16 others voice identification; and the private, because of the various ways of recognition of their own feelings and emotions. Therefore, this is the main interest of this Pombo’s brief text that is going to be developed in the present article. The representation of how these two acts in tension, leading by the self-writing and the rupture with the reality, allows him to move towards poetry writing.

Modernism in Spanish and Latin American Literature represented a poetic proposal of its own while exploring genres such as chronicle, essay and autobiography. The latter allows for a panoramic study of the diary as an alternative to the exaltation of the self that had its highest point in the last decade of the XIX century. A constant of the diarists in modernism is their focus on future literary projects. So, in the twentieth century, the eldest modernists developed the habit of carrying notebooks to record the aesthetic ideas that guided their literary work on different levels.

Theoretical sieges to the so-called writings of the self have been the subject of reflection in different academic forums. Perhaps the vindication of the figure of the author was one of the reasons that emphasized the revaluation of memoirs, autobiographies and diaries. The communicating vessels between life and work are evident in the artistic configuration of these referential works. Memories have historical events as their narrative axis and relate the individual to socio-political circumstances. The location of the person during a certain historical moment of his town becomes a matter of narration; The particular implications are then described within a crucial moment for the world. The autobiography is preceded by a situation of self-examination in which the level of introspection is necessary to articulate the sum of selves that have made the present self possible. So the result of who you are today has been part of a unique journey. The diary takes us to the subject being made on a daily basis. There is in it an effect of plunging into the interiority of its author. All the writings of the self are born of an expressive need and have their counterpart in readers who have been awakened by the desire to better know the writer hidden in narrative fictions or poetic experiences. There is, therefore, a will to tell oneself about life and to find the revealing private story of one who through his literary work has become a public figure.

The experience of exile causes the permanent sensation of wandering and vagrancy. A natural question about the location of the home emerges in the exiles. In two women of republican ideas, Teresa Pàmies y Anna Murià, the answer is related respectively to the father and the husband. So the writings of Crònica de la vida d'Agustí Bartra (1967) and Testament a Prague (1971) form two unusual books in which the authors manage to express their truth. On one side, Pàmies alternates in the odd chapters the memoirs of the father and in theevens she tells about his father's burial in the Czech capital; she unites both facts as simultaneous. For her part, Murià fuses three genres into one with extraordinary literary wisdom: biography, autobiography and testimony or chronicle. Both titles present the deep relationships of women with men: as daughter or as a wife. The literary expression of these two authors forms an unexplored field of Spanish and Catalan memorialism.

The well-known Peruvian journalist Renato Cisneros is the son of the Peruvian Military Luis Federico "El Gaucho" Cisneros; the latter one was Minister of Internal Affairs during the dictatorship of Francisco Morales Bermúdez (1975–1980), and Minister of War during the second presidential term of Belaúnde (1980–1985), in one of the toughest times of the conflict of the Peruvian government with Sendero Luminoso and Tupac Amaru; the poet José Carlos Agüero, on the other hand, is a human rights activist and the son of "Senderistas" who were trialed in an extrajudicial instance: in 1986 his father, José Manuel Agüero, and in 1992 his mother, Silvia Solórzano. Both Cisneros and Agüero have recently published texts in which they give account of the violence experienced in Perú during that time, from a very personal perspective. Again, both of them draw questions about the political activity of their parents and the legacy, the guilt and responsibilities inherited by them as their offspring. But while Renato Cisneros makes of his book, La distancia que nos separa (2016), an "autofiction novel", José Carlos Agüero presents his text, Los rendidos. Sobre el don de perdonar (2015), like a group of "short accounts, half in between thoughts and biographical notes of a time of violence". The difference in their emphasis is not only linked with politics and their thoughts on human rights, but is also revealed in the ways in which writing shapes their accounts, and in them, shapes their respective parents. In this article, I will analyze both narratives from the concept of "filiation narratives", as proposed by Dominique Viart (2009) for the narratives of offspring in European, post -Holocaust literature. We will see how this type of account operates in them, drifting from the autobiographical and the fictional (Roos, 2013); how each of them resolves the problem of political inheritance and memory; and how they both create a text about recent memory and, at the same time, a particular discourse on the purpose of writing.
