This text presents the testimonies of Miguel Calderón Moreno, who was a student at the Autonomous University of Puebla: a high school student in 1971-1972 and a law student in 1973. His admission to the University corresponds to the context in which the movement that took place was promoted. known as the second University Reform, led by leftist groups that grew in presence and participation after the student movement of 1968. This reformist current faced frontal and violent attacks from an organized opposition, mainly that of a group of porros led by Raúl Méndez Morales, known as La Salerosa, and by the Communist University Front. Miguel sympathized with the left. His political definition unleashed enmity with the salty; he was beaten, kidnapped and taken to jail in the first two years. On May 1, 1973, his brother Alfonso was killed with three other students when snipers shot at university students from different points. His story was recorded in six in-depth interviews, on different dates and, in this time of pandemic, through Zoom. His memory not only reconstructs facts, it clarifies them and refutes the versions of the press and the Federal Directorate of Security on various facts.

In recent years the use of oral sources for the reconstruction of the recent past has acquired a valuable expansion in our country. Also, those studies that combine the problematic fields of recent history and history of Peronism from the use of them. Some works, within this framework, are interested in tracing the internal heterogeneity and the disputes that crossed the Peronist movement and identity in the 1970s. This article shares some of these interests and analyzes two interviews with David P. Romero conducted by the author in 2018 and 2019. He was a political leader in support of Peronism during the 1970s, reorganizing delegate of the National Justicialist Movement in the Valley and Coast area of Chubut and at 34 years old -in 1973- candidate for governor for the Justicialist Front of Liberation (FreJuLi).

The objective of the research is to understand consumer emotions which have been encountered during the COVID-19 health emergency, and which affect marketing and business. The study considers perceived risk and fear as moderators which, when directly put in relation to a particular set of COVID-19 pandemic-specific anxieties and stress, may serve to account for the gathered empirical data and therefore contribute to explain and predict changes in shopping frequencies and preferences. The study comprises a qualitative analysis using the ZMET methodology with interviews considering 40 men and women questioned about their experiences as consumers. The results show changes in consumption, emotions, and lifestyles; creating a new social norm governed by positive and negative emotions and defining issues of significant concern to post-pandemic consumers, such as adaptation, protection, health, technology, and family connection.

The present work was developed with the objective of evaluating the sustainability indicators in two dairy farms (A and B) of the Mayabeque province, Cuba. An agroecological diagnosis was carried out with student participation through a system approach to identify and rank problems during the dry season. In dairy A, a sustainable animal production project was carried out, while in dairy B the traditional production system was maintained. The sustainability of the agroecological bases was evaluated, by weighting 13 indicators based on the average potential of the dairy farms and the participatory techniques used. These were selected based on international experience and adapted to the conditions of Cuba. The work included the identification and modeling of systems, analysis of processes and of productive, ecological and socioeconomic indicators. Among the tools used are the search for secondary information, participatory observation, surveys, semi-structured interviews and workshops. The Vester matrix was used for the ranking of problems and the construction of the causal tree and they were interpreted using the Funes radar graph in 1997. A comprehensive analysis was achieved for the fundamental dimensions in both units that influence sustainability and with the benefit of the application of agroecological measures in the transformation of livestock ecosystems towards sustainable production systems. It was revealed that food was identified as the central problem, of the eight classified as causes, of the 14 hierarchical problems. It is concluded that the system approach facilitated the identification of the interactions between subsystems and the analysis of the productive and socioeconomic processes.

During October and February many species of flying fish arrive to the south coast of Peru, Cheilopogon heterurus (Rafinesque, 1810) included, developing a fishery around them. This fishery is focus in the collection of eggs. However, this kind of fishery affects directly the recruitment and sustainability. In this paper, the partial and relative fecundity, the sex ratio per year and length and type of reproduction were calculated with samples from San Juan de Marcona and Ilo, Perú. They were obtained during December 2012, 2013 and 2014. To calculate the fecundity, we used 39 hydrated females. The sex ratio was analyzed for 442 fishes. 30 females were used to analyze the type of reproduction. To estimate the fecundity, we used the oocyte hydrate counting method. Furthermore, the significant difference in sex ratio was calculated by Chi Square. Also, the type of reproduction was verified by the difference of oocyte´s length. The partial fecundity was 13 767 ± 4348 per spawning batch and the relative fecundity was 46 ± 12 per g of fish. On the other hand, the sex ratio per year did not present significant difference. Nevertheless, for the sex ratio per length, it was possible to observe more males of smaller lengths and more females in length over 30 cm. Finally, the type of reproduction of Ch. heterurus was of synchronic group.

In Chile, texts written about reptiles usually describe the species of the genus Liolaemus as insectivorous, omnivorous and sometimes herbivorous. However, no greater level of detail is given. Within the genus Liolaemus is Liolaemus zapallarensis (Müller & Hellmich, 1933), a species endemic to Chile that inhabits coastal scrub with rocks, and is known to be omnivorous, including green shoots and flowers. In order to contribute to the knowledge of the diet of this species, the objective of this note is to report the casual record of an unknown component in the diet of the species. We report the predation and swallowing of an individual of the spider Acanthogonatus sp. by L. zapallarensis in a dune with a high degree of anthropic intervention. Hunting occurred quickly and effectively.

This article explores poet Mark Strand’s facet as an art critic and, more specifically, the way in which the pictorial universe of American painter Edward Hopper influenced his own poetry, both thematically and stylistically. Reading Hopper’s well-known oil on canvas House by the Railroad (1925) in a New York Times article entitled “Crossing the Tracks to Hopper’s World,” published on 17 October 1971, Strand dwells on “Hopper’s fascination with passage” (340). Years later, he would expand his critical exegesis of House by the Railroad and other canvasses by the American painter in a book-length essay titled Hopper (1994) in ways that are expressive of his own poetics. Both Strand and Hopper look at the world with an inquisitive gaze and capture moments in time with utter clarity to show that the self is a mystery and humans are transients yearning for a moment of revelation, a momentary stay against confusion.
