Introduction and objectives. Fetal obstructive uropathy can be treated early in pregnancy by intrauterine vesicoamnioticshunting, immediately after being diagnosed by ultrasound, in specific cases with a favorable prognosis in renal function usingfetal urinary beta-2 microglobuline. The main objective of the study was to determine the changes of beta-2 microglobulinein consecutive samples of fetal urine in 48 – 72 hour-intervals in fetuses with obstructive uropathy at 16 weeks of gestation.Methods. We performed a descriptive and longitudinal study, including 15 pregnant women whose fetuses were diagnosedwith obstructive uropathy and without chromosomal abnormalities, performing vesicocentesis for urinary biometry.

Introduction. In twin pregnancies with a diagnosis of Reversed Arterial Perfusion (TRAP), sequence, is highly recommendedto be managed by fetoscopic fetal surgery through bipolar photocoagulation, in order to improve the prognosis of oneof the fetuses (pump fetus), in contrast of the other one which is acardiac and/or anencephalic. In this regards anesthesiamanagement has to ensure maternal and fetal safety and provide excellent surgical conditions. Objective. To describe theanesthetic management of a patient diagnosed with TRAP sequence scheduled for bipolar fetoscopic-photocoagulation.

The best food for the newborn is breast milk, given the evidence of short and long-term medical and neurodevelopmentalbenefits. It should be considered a public health strategy to reduce neonatal morbidity and mortality, improve quality of lifein short and long term. Breast milk, also known as white blood, consists of approximately 258 components, from living cells, macro and micronutrients, hormones, defense system molecules, immunoglobulins, bacterias, etc; has great variability inrelation to the moment within the breastfeeding, time of day, age of the baby, according to the needs of the baby amongothers. The advantages extend to the mother and are multiple. For those cases where it is impossible to get breast milk, wemust be able to offer the option of receiving pasteurized milk from a milk bank. Ovarian cysts are the most frequent abdominal tumor in the neonatal stage. They can occur from asymptomatic cases topatients with complicated cysts with bleeding; Ascites, hemorrhagic rupture of the cyst, peritonitis and torsion. Prenataldiagnosis using ultrasonography is fundamental for the timely management of patients. There are different treatment alternatives ranging from observation, percutaneous puncture with ultrasound guidance to thelaparoscopic approach that will depend on the pattern and diameter of the cyst, always keeping in mind the preservation ofthe gonads to ensure development in puberty and future fertility. We present the case of a 45-day-old girl who shows the prenatal diagnosis and the appearance of a complex cyst in one ofher ultrasound controls, which is solved laparoscopically.
