Resumen
The issue of justice is one of the principles that every organized society seeks to achieve in view of the common good of the majority of its citizens. However, what happens when this principle is not realized? What part of the social contract suffers from the breaking of this principle and of others? Rawls seeks to answer these questions and to formulate a theory of justice in search of a just society based on freedom and obligations to others and to oneself.

Resumen
The present work arises from the philosophy of religion and presents the way in which certain forms of religion introduce themselves as a form of ideology whose purpose is to connect people with the ideals of neoliberalism. It is in this sense that a study of the so-called Theology or Gospel of Prosperity is carried out. As an antidote to this form of ideology, it proposed to strengthen the prophetic voice of religion.

Resumen
The present text develops the meaning and sense of rhetoric in Aristotelian thought as a response to Platonic criticism and its relation to dialectic, showing that rhetorical knowledge is different from axiomatic knowledge, but that both must be recognized as complementary.

Resumen
The present work takes on the Kantian concept of ethical community as a critical starting point to construct a conception of civil society that can cope with the pretensions of an exaggerated capitalism that has been articulated through the forging of a global self-regulated market. In order to carry out the analysis, classical works in economic anthropology, such as those of Marcel Mauss and Marshal Sahlins, together with Karl Polanyi’s studies on economics, sociology and economics have been taken as additional support and re-evaluated through the perspective of contemporary works on political and social philosophy.

Resumen
Nowadays, it seems very often that social sciences, and even more the humanities, are trapped between two opposite but equally unsatisfactory alternatives: either to conform completely to the method of natural science (which push them towards a deleterious reductionism that disregards the most characteristic properties of their objects) or to give up the ambition of being forms of true knowledge (which push them towards an equally deleterious irrationalism that turns them ineffective and therefore useless). However, a correct understanding of the experimental method, of its nature and its limits, enables us to demonstrate the full legitimacy of other forms of true knowledge besides natural science, from which these other forms differ, not in regards to their nature, but in regards to the degree of certainty they can reach, since they use different methods that are dependent on their different objects and that are neither completely identical nor completely different from the experimental method, but analogous to it.

Resumen
Sören Kierkegard was a Danish philosopher, who developed a philosophy of human existence from the perspective of the individual and his subjectivity. From a very young age, he lived surrounded by an oppressive religious atmosphere, which progressively pushed him into a feeling of anguish, melancholy and guilt. He came to regard faith as man’s unique response to a God who reveals himself to express his will. Faith is the only valid subjective response by which man can embrace his own existence. Hefinds in religious feeling the only way to live a dignified existence in the face of the immeasurable that is God. This faith, however, does not have a merely eschatological character but an understanding of life that cannot be given except from faith itself. “Abraham believed though; and believed for this life. Had his faith referred only to a future life, he would have easily stripped himself of everything in order to quickly abandon a world to which he would no longer belong” (Kierkegaard, 1947, p.24)

Resumen
The Democratic institutions are founded on a series of painful political experiences, like the holocaust, from which we have gained an important learning. However, the culture of human rights needs to strengthen within the regards of an ethic of memory, that conveys the efforts of the entire society so it can identify liabilities in a context of violence. This ethical reflection prevents the causes of violence from appearing again, but also guides us in the search for new parameters about our conceptions of a meaningful life. Thus human development is part of this same democratic process whose objective is the formation of a sense of justice that allows us to genuinely care about the other.
