Resumen
Architecture and the experimental visual arts in Spain in the fifties and sixties provide many opportunities for analysis that have yet to be discovered. Among these, the patronage by the Huarte family of industrialists, as sponsors of unprecedented creative work warrants special attention. The sculptor Jorge Oteiza, a member of the patrons’ circle, was the great driving force behind Spanish culture in those years and one of the major instigators of the work of the patrons. The main objective of this study is to highlight some of the links between his work and the work of architects such as Sáenz de Oíza and Corrales y Molezún, as well as the possible influence of Le Corbusier in his conclusive final sculptures.

Resumen
The Portmán Bay, Southeast Iberian Peninsula, is home to one of the largest environmental disasters on the Mediterranean coast: the silting of the bay caused by the dumping of million tonnes of mining waste to the sea, over more than thirty years. The analysis of the values of the surroundings, and the assessment of the potential for the development of the bay arises with the aim of obtaining alternatives for planning a sustainable local development and respectful with the environment. Two phases of analysis have been carried out: the first through a partial, more detailed, study; followed by a second phase of analysis, with an overall assessment of land uses to determine the constraints and development opportunities of the surroundings of Portmán. The integral analysis provides a vision of the space as a whole, and allows defining territorial categories in relation to possible developments in the form of residential and tourism projects, which are defined as: limitations, main constraints and additional constraints.

Resumen
The incorporation of the territorial perspective into the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP), through the delimitation of fishing areas and the creation of Fishery Local Action Groups (FLAGs), has allowed the decentralized management Axis 4 of the European Fisheries Fund (EFF) through the application of the LEADER method in this sectoral policy. The present study brings together the research of five case study regions (including Portugal) and their FLAGs in the period 2007-2013. Based on the analysis of each participatory local development strategy (LDS) and measures financed, there are different responses to the experience: misalignment and lack of cohesion between projects, excessive dependence on local power, and, in contrast, very meritorious actions and impact both in the fisheries sector and in the sustainable development of the coastal communities.

Resumen
The publication of the royal decree, law 14/2012 of urgent measures of rationalisation of public spending, paralysed the opening of vacancies for university professors. The urgency to open new promotions and incorporate new professors means it is often easy to forget that it is not enough to just open new processes of selection but that selection for vacancies should take place in a transparent, clear, coherent, just and objective manner. If applying this criteria is crucial in every case, it is even more so with respect to vacancies for Assistant Professor, given that this is the key entry point for gaining a fixed professorship in public universities. In this article we analyse the processes of selection for vacancies of Assistant Professor in public Andalusian universities during the period between November 2014 and December 2015. Our objective is to show how the legal framework allows for a huge amount of heterogeneity and subjectivity in the hiring process.

Resumen
The scientific production, which focused on the study of the main territorial and socioeconomic issues of the Spanish High-speed rail network, is analyzed in depth. This research aims to understand its evolution and designated topics. The results, classified by disciplines, support the hypothesis that in Spain the relationship between High-speed rail and tourism has yet to be thoroughly studied, despite its scientific and political interest. For this reason, future research must tackle a variety of questions which must be addressed through a collaboration of experts from different areas that contribute to different perspectives and methodologies.

Resumen
The aim of this work is to describe the situation of nautical tourism in one of the largest islands in the Mediterranean through the analysis of the marinas and the sailing habits of the boaters. After outlining the typology, characteristics and functions of the marinas in the introduction, we briefly present the quantitative-qualitative analysis methodology that was carried out through interviews to the stakeholders and subsequent processing of the original information obtained. The presentation of the results concerns the context of Italian ports and then focuses on Sardinia in terms of ports and berths. The discussion, on the other hand, is based on the original analysis of the use of Sardinian ports, the navigation mode of the boaters, including the characteristics of the boats used. In the conclusions, it is emphasized that Sardinia is at the centre of a boating area that extends to the Upper Tyrrhenian Sea, within which it represents a hub and the favourite area for the most important and rich segment of yachts. This, however, does not preclude existing structures from pursuing an improvement in the supply from the point of view of environmental compatibility, of the quality of the services offered and, above all, of a stronger connection to the tourist offer of the hinterlands.A possible development of the present study may cover other similar cases in the Mediterranean, regarding in particular the specific aspect of the degree of openness towards the boaters coming from "continental" territories.

Resumen
Residential movements towards metropolitan inner cities are movements which have been paid little attention to, despite the key role that they play in the incipient stages, as well as in the more advanced, of metropolitan development. Moreover, when they have been studied they have tended to be understood as unique, undifferentiated reality. This work, using census data from 1991 and 2011, and based on a complex delimitation of the Andalusian metropolitan areas, contributes to the differentiation and conceptualization of centralization movements, proving two fundamental facts: first, that the role played by these movements in different stages of metropolitan development is different, and second, that their characteristics, and therefore their consequences in the transformation of the city, differ substantially according to the greater or lesser integration in the metropolitan processes of their origin’s zones.

Resumen
Between 2008 and 2016, more than 80,000 stores were closed in Spain. The economic crisis reduced credit and society was forced to redirect their cravings for consumption. The closure of establishments affected in a different way the neighborhood shops, the shopping centers, or the emblematic axes of each city. At the same time, e-commerce experienced strong and sustained growth, especially in the territories with the highest economic level, surpassing in each year the percentage of the population that used different devices to buy online something that before was bought in a store. This paper studies the situation of retail in Spain in 2016 and the changes in the consumption mode of its inhabitants caused by the economic crisis.
