Resumen
This research aims at understanding general self-efficacy and work engagement of professors of the Psychology Program of a private university in metropolitan Lima. To reach this objective, in-depth interviews with seven professors were conducted: three of them were women and four were men. Based on those interviews, it was possible to understand what personal factors have helped said professors to carry out their work as well as with what they are engaged. Finally, it was concluded that professors have self-efficacy, as they assess their skills and their environment to achieve their goals. Another finding was that they are engaged with their teaching work, and this is based on their interaction with their students, since they do more research and are up-to-date with current practices in their field.

Resumen
The European university reform process requires a new approach into the relationship between faculty and students. This paper analyzes how the Spanish university context has demanded adaptations for the faculty’s role in the presence of new technologies, identifying the relevance of virtual tutoring as an opportunity to understand another meaning of the teaching and learning process. From a qualitative standpoint, the topic of study is addressed in order to characterize the Spanish university context and virtual tutoring. The faculty’s training need is identified beyond promoting academic research, in addition to proposing a new classification of virtual tutoring based on five levels. Finally, Bologna centers its attention on the student; however, the practices established before the reform are still ongoing. Virtual tutoring, together with the motivational factor, constitutes one of the most decisive actions.

Resumen
This paper aims to analyze the relevance of verbal, paraverbal and nonverbal communication for a group of students by observing and evaluating a speaker’s speech. The corpus analyzed is composed of the notes made by 30 students about the communicative flaws detected in a speaker’s speech. The results obtained indicate that 11.27% of such criticisms were aimed at verbal communication, 30.82% at paraverbal communication and 57.89% at nonverbal communication. Therefore, these conclusions are similar to those reached by Mehrabian (1972), although they differ in part from the ones presented in van der Hofstadt (2005) or Orzáiz (2009). The implications of these results are discussed.

Resumen
The paper we present is the result of a new method used in the classes of Accessible Translation in the Master of Professional Translation at the University of Granada. This subject belongs to the unit of Audiovisual Translation and Accessibility developed since 2014 when this Master started. Our main goal was to apply the modality of accessible translation into different tourist spaces and to innovate in the teaching of translation. The methodology was based on the application of socio-constructivist theories in Accessible Translation. Specifically, we were to teach how to prepare the audio descriptions for two architectural spaces: the façade of the Granada Cathedral and the façade of the Sagrario Church, also in Granada. The audio description of these two spaces was the ideal context (macro text) for the students to go beyond the classroom, and to experience firsthand the epistemological process of translation, being able to create their target texts. In order to complete this process, the students conducted a reception study with a sight-impaired person who evaluated the accessible materials created in class. Two tools were used in the evaluation: a survey and an interview, both of which helped to measure profile variables, as well as the contents of the audio descriptions. The usefulness of these tools was expressed through the satisfaction of the sight-impaired person with the audio description presented, which met their expectations.

Resumen
The analysis of the learning styles of university students, considering the study program in which they are enrolled, has allowed to make some predictions regarding their academic performance. This study is aimed at identifying and establishing relationships between learning styles, the average grade obtained in high school, and the study program profile, in two cohorts of students of the Human Communication Program at the UAEM. The CHAEA Learning Styles Questionnaire was applied to 166 newly admitted students of the 2015 and 2016 cohorts who were taking the induction course for the Human Communication Study program. These students had also provided their admittance average and information on whether they had been placed on a more suitable degree program. The results reflect significant differences in learning styles in both cohorts; there are no differences between the high school average between them; in the 2016 cohort, a moderate negative correlation was found between high school average and active style: the higher the active style, the lower the average. The dominant styles in the cohorts were active and pragmatic, which corresponds to the curricular profile of the study program, where an increase of practice hours over theory hours is more significant each semester.

Resumen
This paper seeks to describe and analyze the role of professionals in the field of education as one of the main agents who contribute to the socio-labor inclusion of youth with Intellectual Functional Diversity (IFD). Based on the complementarity of the quantitative and qualitative methods, we have delved into the significance of providing quality training to advisors and faculty, one which will enable them to foster the development of personal, social and labor skills and competencies in youth with IFD, so they can access employment and adulthood in an easier manner. Additionally, we have highlighted the significance of training these professionals in innovative methodologies to respond to their students’ diversity and promote the transferability of their learning to new contexts. To conclude, we have been aware of these professionals’ great commitment despite the lack of sufficient human and material resources.

Resumen
This article presents the results of a research that sought to analyze the facilitators and obstacles that three students with functional diversity identified during their career in the university, namely how teachers had been able to contribute to their social and educational inclusion. From the biographical-narrative method was intended to give voice to people with functional diversity. For the collection of information, a variety of qualitative instruments were used: biographical interviews, focused interviews, semistructured interviews, photographs, self reports, lifeline, researcher’s field diary, Emails and the technique “A day in the life of ...” A narrative analysis was carried out that allowed to construct three histories of life. In particular, the results of this work, through the narratives of Marper, Andrés and Rafa, focus on analyzing how teachers contributed or not to the inclusion of students and what were the main barriers that identify referred to it. Among the main conclusions, it should be pointed out that some teachers were not sufficiently trained to respond to the needs of the students or because, sometimes, the necessary adjustments were not made for student learning and participation.

Resumen
On carrying out diagnostic assessment of the different levels of “interlanguage” (Selinker, 1972) of translator trainees at the University of Salamanca, who use their working languages—in this case English—at nearnative level when practising inverse translation, the writer has been able to observe that one of the areas in which even the most proficient students are likely to find certain difficulty is that of prepositional “usage” and “use” (Widdowson, 1978). When dealing with the interpretation and translation of prepositions and particles in a wide range of structures and contexts, knowledge of both their usage and a feeling for their use is essential if the often important nuances which they express in combination with other linguistic elements are not to be forfeited. The principal aim of this article is to underline this notion, contributing.both samples of prepositional and particle usage in translation and relevantobservations for promoting the in-class development of an awareness of theproblems encountered concerning the comprehension of the source text and itssubsequent re-expression.

Resumen
This paper highlights the importance of language learning strategies (LLS) as support methods related to inclusive education (IE) processes, and tries to find specific language teaching strategies for students with attention deficit disorder (ADD) in order to achieve a meaningful and functional learning. After analyzing the LLS and taking into account the difficulties learners with ADD face when learning foreing languages, we reach the conclusion that the most appropriate are the compensation and affective or socioaffective strategies, since these specific education strategies enhance their skills performance, make them part of the teaching-learning process and prepare them to make their own interventions, eliminating the stress of a regular day-to-day class, catching their attention and increasing their motivation.

Resumen
This research is focused on the description and analysis of the initial training received by primary education teachers in Andalusia in connection with work in culturally diverse contexts. To this end, a qualitative method design with a descriptive and interpretive approach was chosen, using documental and content analysis as a research technique. This allows the identification and study of references to cultural diversity, explicit and implicit, present in the different dimensions of analysis: objectives, competencies, contents, learning outcomes, formative strategies and evaluation systems. The results indicate that, although all the curricular designs examined include references to cultural diversity, these references are scarce. Additionally, planning and coordination in relation to the intercultural competencies acquisition process is not observed, nor their crosswise treatment along the curriculum.
