The libraries of the ancient Jesuits were not confined solely to their schools, but also to various and varied domiciles of their organizational orbit, being constituted in smaller libraries. Such as those of the novitiate, convict, apothecary, reductions and, among them, the stays that solved the expenses of the pastoral and educational activities of the schools. In the present work we analyze the books of the stay of Santa Catalina, that solved the expenses of province and of the novitiate of the Jesuit Province of Paraguay. With this we intend to rescue this fund based on the little information provided by the inventories of the Temporalities to help rebuild its cultural legacy in this particular space.

There was a time when the world had only four parts. At least so Europeans believed from the sixteenth century. Europe, Asia, and Africa were the three parts the world had always had since creation. From 1492 what was doubt became certain, there was a fourth part. America thus entered the geography of the world of Europeans. And in sacred geography. It was necessary to explain this New World, its flora, its fauna and its inhabitants. Among the most dedicated to do so were the Jesuits. First, describing this great world, where they went as missionaries. Then detailing their regions and peoples. There arises a vast cartography and the idea that a world alone was not enough for the spiritual achievements made in the name of God.

In this paper we systematize the extensive data we advance in the studies we publish with Fuensanta Garrido at IHS. Antiguos jesuitas en Iberoamérica (vol. 1, nº, 2013). Now we analyze the literary works of the Mexican Jesuits expelled, collected by the Abbé Lorenzo Hervás y Panduro (1735-1809), in his Jesuit-Spanish Library (BJE). Also narrate the painful life adventures of the exiled Jesuits from New Spain, especially in light of the Journal of the Jesuit Manuel Luengo and P. Menology Felix Sebastian.

According to Peruvian legislation, through an escrow agreement a trustor transfers under a fiduciary domain in favor of an escrow agent various goods, rights and obligations, which must achieve certain purpose. These will constitute an autonomous patrimony that does not respond any obligation of the trustor and the agent escrow. Despite the clarity of this statement, the authors reveal that indeed there might be different interpretations about this agreement that have practical consequences with the treatment of real properties subject to fiduciary dominion.
