This work is part of my doctoral thesis. In the research, I try to understand my teaching practices, rescuing numerous life stories and interweaving them in a life history of a math teacher. During the autobiographical journey I came across creative self-insubordination, living contradictions and counter-memories mixed in multiple selves’ teachers who said constructivists. I bring the architecture of the narrative, in which learning is its thread. This is a journey of empowerment and training that led me to a deeper reflection about my identity. Research in this way contributes to the re-signification of teaching when thinking with stories about becoming a teacher.

To dare is to give wings to your convictions, to seek answers to what you do not understand, is to face what causes you estrangement. It is to allow and to go forward. This article arose from the reflections of a mathematical educator on part of his professional trajectory. Presents the beginning of his teaching career, marked by episodes of creative insubordination, arriving at his performance in higher education where his trajectory crosses with the trajectory of one of his students who, even being in a training course for mathematics teachers, accepted the challenge of participating in a project involving a group of children in Early Childhood Education. The project had as context the children's literature and from the stories told to the children were approached some mathematical ideas and statistics.

A prospective and longitudinal investigation was carried out in the Adult Intensive Care Unit of the General Teaching Hospital "Octavio de la Concepción y de la Pedraja" in Baracoa, with the objective of evaluating the competence of the nursing professional in relation to endotracheal aspiration technique, during January 2015 to August 2016. The study was performed with the total number of nurses working in the ICUs, 37. A theoretical and practical examination of competency assessment was done to the nursing professionals of ICUs and the aspiration technique endotracheal. The highest percent among nursing graduates and verticals presented an evaluation of bad, the sepsis increased from the fourth day of admission of the patients. Showing a marked degree of incompetence in performing this invasive procedure which affects patient safety.

A bibliographical review on humanistic education was carried out at the University Of Medical Sciences Of Guantanamo during the academic year 2015-2016, with the objective of reflecting on the singularities of the professional of the medical sciences careers; given the irregularities that were presented for achieve the integral formation of technicians. The universe consisted of 40 teachers and managers of the faculty and the University of Medical Sciences, members of the first year collective of technical careers. The main variables were analyzed: humanistic education and methodological work. The methods and techniques of research were used: theoretical, empirical and statistical level. The study of the current state of the thematic allowed knowing the antecedents of the subject which revealed the inadequacies that in this respect, were presented in the theoretical and methodological order for this purpose, as well as the importance of its treatment.

A retrospective descriptive study was conducted with the objective of exposing the nursing care protocol to the elderly in health institutions. Several reports and documents were reviewed where these reflect the attention to the elderly from different perspectives of life, once the information was collected, the assessment was carried out by several professionals in charge of caring for it. The authors analyzed each of the actions to be taken into account for the care of the elderly. It was possible to establish the protocol of action that should be present during the care of the elderly in the internal centers such as homes. These actions allow providing specialized and quality care in each of the processes that will be carried out during nursing care.

The case of a patient of a year and a half of age, with dysmorphic features that presented a partial trisomy of the short arm of chromosome 9 (9p), when the karyo type was performed, was diagnosed at 11 months of age. In addition, delay of the psychomotor development and generalized epilepsy of type spasms. Partial or complete trisomy of chromosome 9 is the fourth most frequent chromosomal disorder, may be associated with several malformations. The most common malformations consist of ocular alterations, separated eyes-hypertelorism, strabismus, microphthalmia and small palpebral fissures, malformations of the hands, feet, heart, genitals, kidney and central nervous system, as well as the existence of important mental retardation.

A descriptive, ambipective and longitudinal study was performed on the epithelial cysts of the pancreas in the Guantanamo population of the General Teaching Hospital Dr. Agostinho Neto de Guantánamo during 1990 to 2015, with the objective of characterizing aspects related to the epithelial cysts of the pancreas in patients graduates of the General Surgery Service. The variables were analyzed: operated patients, non-operated, age groups, sex, symptomatology, predominant clinical element, tumor location, tumor size, histological type and surgical technique. The presence of operated patients with respect to the non-operated ones, and among them the female ones, was emphasized. There is a predominance of symptomatic patients compared to asymptomatic patients. The predominant clinical element was epigastralgia in tumors located in the body of the pancreas. The most commonly used surgical technique was distal pancreatectomy with splenectomy.

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo transversal en el municipio de Baracoa, en el período de enero de 2007 hasta diciembre de 2015, para dar a conocer el comportamiento de la terapéutica trombolítica en el infarto agudo del miocardio. Se obtuvo un universo de 494 pacientes egresados del hospital con diagnóstico de infarto agudo del miocardio, la muestra fue de 75 pacientes que recibieron tratamiento trombolítico. Las variables utilizadas estuvieron dadas por la edad, sexo, estado al egreso, período de tiempo para la admisión, puerta-aguja de terapia trombolítica. Hubo predominio del sexo masculino, siendo el grupo de edad de 61 a 70 años el más representado, con demora de admisión, inicio de la terapéutica y tiempo de puerta-aguja. El infarto agudo de miocardio es un problema de salud en el municipio Baracoa, con una elevada mortalidad y está relacionado al uso inadecuado de la terapéutica trombolítica

This article aims to present the analysis of an experience developed with students of a 9th grade class from a public school in the rural area of Guaratinguetá. This experience is part of the PIBID project, linked to the Undergraduate Mathematics course of UNESP Guaratinguetá. In a partnership with the Mathematics teacher of the class, a diagnostic evaluation was carried out in which the difficulty of the students in relation to the tables was verified, and that this difficulty compromised the learning of other contents. It was requested by the teacher, to the graduates, participants of the PIBID, the idea of a project that would help the students in this sense. We understand that attitudes like this one of the teacher, who seeks to develop a differentiated activity, even if it is a content that is not in the plan of that school year and more, that could be considered already presented to the students, constitutes an act of creative insubordination, since with this action promoted a learning in which the students attribute meanings to the mathematical knowledge. With the development of the activity the teacher tried to help the students, in relation to a theoretically simple content, in a non-discriminatory way.
