En este artículo se estudia la importancia que Internet ha tenido en los últimos años en la recepción de las poetas españolas contemporáneas. Para ello, se recurre tanto a la teoría literaria feminista y al ciberfeminismo como a algunas de las contribuciones clave en el estudio de los procesos de canonicidad, específicamente, a la sociología de Pierre Bourdieu y a la teoría de los polisistemas de Itamar Even-Zohar. Desde este marco teórico, se analiza la antología virtual Cien de cien de Elena Medel, una selección que permite repensar las relaciones entre autoridad, cánones y cibercultura en el siglo XXI. Abstract: This article aims to study the importance that the Internet has had in the reception of Spanish women poets in the last few years. For that purpose, feminist literary criticism and cyberfeminism will be used, as well as some of the key contributors to the study of canon, particularly Pierre Bourdieu’s sociology and Itamar Even-Zohar’s theory of polysystems. With this theoretical framework, attention will be paid to the digital anthology Cien de cien by Elena Medel, which enables us to rethink the relationship between authority, literary canons and cyberculture in the 21st Century.

No faltan en las artes visuales creaciones que han integrado en su plástica el lenguaje oral, la escritura o la traducción, si bien no es tan frecuente que el lenguaje sea el sujeto de la obra. Ese es el caso de diversas obras realizadas en dos antiguas colonias del Sudeste Asiático durante la década de 1990, que ponen en cuestión la herencia cultural constituida por las palabras y los sistemas de escritura. Desde sus respectivos contextos, Vietnam y Singapur, dos artistas aportan un incisivo comentario sobre los usos politizados de la escritura, las lenguas vernáculas y la alfabetización. Piezas performativas del artista Truong Tan y de la artista Amanda Heng aportan nuevos modos de comprender el funcionamiento del lenguaje y de la violencia ejercida a través de la colonización lingüística. Abstract: There is no shortage of artworks that have integrated the spoken word, writing or translation into their aesthetic form, although it is rare for language to be the subject of the works. This is the case of several works made during the 1990s in former colonies of Southeast Asia. The works call into question the cultural heritage that words and writing systems constitute. From their respective contexts, Vietnam and Singapore, two artists offer an incisive commentary on the politicized uses of vernacular languages and literacy. Performance pieces by artists Truong Tan and Amanda Heng contribute new ways of understanding the functioning of language, and the violence that can be exerted through linguistic colonization.

En la teoría literaria sobre escritura autobiográfica y autoficcional ha predominado cierta confusión en el empleo de las etiquetas y solamente en los últimos años parece haberse generalizado una distinción definitiva entre ambos discursos narrativos. Este artículo tiene como objetivo establecer un recorrido de la evolución experimentada por la dicotomía autobiografía / autoficción. Para ello parto de los orígenes de lo autoficcional, analizo la evolución de este debate y finalmente me centro en las últimas publicaciones de relevancia. La intención es dar a conocer nuevas ideas, todavía poco discutidas en el ámbito hispánico, que desarrollan y amplían los planteamientos de autores asentados en este campo de estudio.    Abstract: In the literary theory on autobiographical writing and autofiction, there has been a certain degree of confusion in the use of labels; only recently, a clear distinction has been drawn between them both. This article aims to establish a path of evolution for the dichotomy autobiography / autofiction. I will start from the origins of autofiction, will later analyse the evolution of the theoretical debate, and will finally focus on the latest relevant publications. Therefore, the article will make known new ideas, still little discussed in the Hispanic sphere, which develop and extend the approaches of authors based in this field of study.

Este artículo analiza la representación de las obras de William Shakespeare en el Festival de Aviñón a través del análisis de los espectáculos y su recepción por parte del público y de la crítica con el objetivo de examinar cómo el contexto del festival da lugar a un tipo de recepción con características propias. Partimos de la idea de que la recepción del público en un festival de teatro es eminentemente distinta a la que tiene lugar en otros acontecimientos teatrales debido a las características particulares de este contexto. Para ello, exploramos tres aspectos fundamentales: la selección de montajes, la activación de la memoria del festival y la influencia del festival en los montajes que produce y coproduce. Abstract: This article explores Shakespeare in performance at the Avignon Festival through theatre reviews and performance analysis in order to examine how festival contexts give rise to distinct types of audience reception. It takes as its starting point that audience reception at the festival context varies significantly from that in other theatrical events. The article interrogates three main aspects about the Avignon Festival (the influence of the curation of the festival, the activation of festival memories and the influence of the festival on commissioned productions) using semiotics to conceptualize the festival.

La historiografía de la fantasía épica sufre de la vaguedad de la teoría sobre esta modalidad ficcional, ya que no se la suele distinguir de otros géneros de ficción con elementos sobrenaturales. Siguiendo las teorías de Waggoner y Trębicki, este ensayo constituye un intento de definir y caracterizar taxonómicamente la fantasía épica, distinguiéndola mediante rasgos estructurales y retóricos de otros tipos afines de fantasía en la ficción, para poder saber específicamente de que se está hablando al acometer una historia comparada de la fantasía épica. Abstract: The historiography of high fantasy suffers from the theoretical vagueness about this kind of fiction, since it is not usually distinguished from other kinds of fiction with supernatural elements. Following the theories of Tolkien, Waggoner and Trębicki, this essay constitutes an attempt to define and describe high fantasy, distinguishing it through structural and rhetorical features from other related fantasy fiction genres in order to establish what we are specifically talking about when we undertake a comparative history of high fantasy.

Aunque Umberto Eco se ocupara de explicar la evolución experimentada por la práctica de la interpretación en el ámbito general de los estudios semióticos, distinguiendo tres modalidades de intenciones (operis, auctoris, lectoris) que agotarían cualquier posibilidad de relación con el texto, y distinguiendo también entre una interpretación semiósica (relativa al significado) y otra semiótica (relativa a las reglas que la hacen posible), creemos necesario revisar algunas cuestiones para aclarar el sentido de un término que ha generado numerosas polémicas entre los analistas de textos literarios y/o artísticos. En concreto, aquellas que afectan a los puntos de conexión entre semiótica y psicoanálisis, cuya aportación ha sido decisiva para animar los procesos de lectura y repensar la relación entre enunciado y enunciación, llevando a algunos semiólogos a reivindicar el manejo de nociones freudianas y lacanianas que otros procuran evitar, al menos en su forma de interrogar cierta clase de producciones. Abstract: Although Umberto Eco was in charge of explaining the evolution experienced by the practice of interpretation in the general field of Semiotic studies, distinguishing three modes of intentions (operis, auctoris, lectoris) that would exhaust any possibility of relationship with the text, and also distinguishing between a Semiosic interpretation (related to meaning) and another Semiotic (related to the rules that make it possible), we believe it is necessary to review several questions to clarify the meaning of a term that has generated controversies among analysts. Specifically, those that affect the points of connection between Semiotics and Psychoanalysis, whose contribution has been decisive in animating the reading processes and rethinking the relationship between statement and enunciation, leading some semiologists to claim the handling of Freudian and Lacanian notions that others try to avoid, at least in their way of questioning certain kind of productions.

La crítica especializada ha relacionado las leyendas de las cartas Desde mi celda de Bécquer con la insistencia por parte del autor en la búsqueda y recuperación del folclore y de las tradiciones populares. No obstante, el acercamiento a las mismas exige una doble lectura. La riqueza polifónica muestra que, al Bécquer folclorista, habría de añadírsele su faceta de lector afamado, imprescindible en su configuración como narrador de historias. El escritor sevillano mira al pueblo, recoge y bebe de la tradición, pero la filtra a través del prisma del movimiento gótico, de los ecos que aún permanecían en la literatura y que se atisbaban en las últimas manifestaciones de las narraciones románticas y en la incipiente narrativa realista. El largometraje recientemente estrenado Bécquer y las brujas ahonda en esta riqueza polifónica de una figura, construida desde la más pura otredad: la de la bruja. Abstract: Literary scholarship has credited the legends collected in Bécquer’s letters Desde mi celda for the writer’s interest in the research and recovery of folklore and popular traditions. However, when approaching these traditional stories, another perspective is possible: Bécquer’s polyphonic narrations are rooted in his wide readings, from which he draws the material of his stories. The Sevillian writer observes and grasps the people’s cultural traditions, but through the filter of the Gothic, the echoes of the last romantic prose and the emerging realist narrative. The newly released film Bécquer y las brujas highlights the richness of his compositions, based on the purest otherness: the figure of the witch.

Este artículo indaga en la trascendencia de la semiótica y la filosofía del lenguaje para la manipulación de la dimensión connotativa esencial en el discurso de la imaginación. Para ello, la parodia servirá como punto de reflexión sobre el que la idea de semiotización podría definirse como un enclave textual de la memoria cultural. Siendo la parodia un fenómeno al que se adhieren (y que se adhiere a) valores historiográficos sin que a su definición pueda imponerse a una mirada histórica parcial (nacional, ideológica), hay en ella una asociación semiótica vertebrada por la historia de la filosofía del lenguaje, acompasada por la encarnación mítica y post-mítica de las relaciones materia-forma, individuo-colectividad. De esta manera, la aporía todo acto de figuración se ejecuta en la parodia como una dialéctica que permite a los estudios literarios atender a la complejidad de la idea de Tradición en la especificidad de la forma estética. Abstract: This article explores the significance of semiotics and the philosophy of language for the manipulation of the connotative dimension in the discourse of the imagination. To this end, parody will serve as a point of reflection on which the idea of semiotization could be defined as a textual enclave of cultural memory. Since parody is a phenomenon to which historiographical values adhere (and which is adhered to) without its definition being subject to a partial (national, ideological) historical gaze, there can be observed in it a semiotic association vertebrate by the history of the philosophy of language, accompanied by the mythical and post-mythical incarnation of the relations matter-form, individual-collectivity. In this way, the aporia of every act of figuration is executed in parody as a dialectic that allows literary studies to attend to the complexity of the idea of Tradition in the specificity of aesthetic form.

Abstract: This paper rescues Los hombres de cristal (Fernando Delgado, 1966), a five episodes miniseries broadcasted by Televisión Española within the show Novela (1963-1978). Announced as an adaptation of El licenciado Vidriera (1613) set in the NASA, the dramatic context change of this bizarre rewrite transforms Cervantes’s work decisively.

This article aims to estimate the effect of regional economic diversity on socioeconomic conditions in the provinces of Ecuador, taking as a reference the period 2014-2018. The research is explanatory, with a documentary, non-experimental, cross-sectional design, and uses analytical-synthetic and quantitative-empirical approaches as analysis methods. Econometric estimates made with cross-sectional data from the 24 provinces of Ecuador, using the Ordinary Least Squares method, suggest positive effects of the regional specialization coefficient and the concentration index on the volatility observed in income and growth. Likewise, regional specialization is associated with a higher poverty rate, while there is an inverse relationship between specialization and concentration with the average growth rate of the provinces. The study allowed to conclude, firstly, that development planning requires the reduction of the productive heterogeneities that an economy such as Ecuador presents and, secondly, that the benefits of development will only be widely perceived by the population to the extent that the regions diversify their economic activity.
