This study aimed to determine the relationship between carbon footprint levels and the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of secondary School students and the staff of a Private Denominational School. The research was carried out in three parts: the calculation of the carbon footprint of the school, following the methodology of the Protocol of Greenhouse Gases; the measurement of the carbon footprint in the study population, through the calculator of emissions of Dragonfly Management in Climate Change and Communication, and the application of a test of knowledge, attitudes and practices. The results showed that the emissions per year in the educational institution were 25.36 tCO2e and the average emission of the study population was 2.18 tCO2e. Thecorrelation analysis showed that there is a negative correlation of -0.228 between the carbon footprint and the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of the population, that is when one increases, the other begins to decrease. In conclusion, according to the correlation analysis, there is a relationship between knowledge, attitudes and practices and the carbon footprint, however, it is a weak correlation, because the Person's index is below 0.5.

The quality of academic services, along with the institutional image and organizational culture are key factors in the university licensing process. This study explores the relationship between the quality of academic services and the organizational culture in the institutional image of a private denominational institution. It's a correlational research and used a quantitative approach. It is a multiple purpose causal correlation that seeks to explain existing relationships, through multiple linear regression analysis ANOVA. Three instruments were applied: Denison's 60-item Organizational Culture Survey (DOCS); The Student Satisfaction Scale Instrument for Educational Quality (SEICE) of 93 items and the Escobar's Institutional Image questionnaire for selected audiences of 31 items. The culture andquality instruments used as an evaluation the Likert scale of five points, in the case of the image instrument through positive and negative signs was scored. The instruments were applied to a population of 221 people of the public students of a confessional private university. Among the results, significant relationships were obtained between the studied variables and their dimensions. We conclude that the positive evaluation of the institutional image is affected by the organizational culture and the quality of educational services.

The Argentine Questionnaire on Attitudes vis-a-vis Situations of Aggression(Moreno y Pereyra, 2000) was adapted to the educational environment. For its preliminary validation, 143 Argentine teachers participated. The items turned out to be discriminative and they were grouped, based on a Factorial Exploratory Analysis, into three dimensions that are related to the theory: Passivity (α = .90), Aggressiveness (α = .95) and Prosocial behavior (α = .92). The constructive validity was also tested by analyzing the hypothesis that confirms teachers with a high level of burnout syndrome have a greater tendency to behave negatively when faced with situations of aggression in the classroom context. These results were also related to the theory (p< .001). Based on these analyses, it is concluded that the preliminary version of the instrument is apt for submission to psychometric studies of a more rigorous nature and wider.

The empirical data on which this study is based were generated through documentary analysis from the university under study and supplemented with semi-structured interviews applied to various officials in the subject. The results show that the university developed institutional capacities linked to the creation of a structure of ad hoc interaction that serves as the link between the territory and the university, and the implementation of a policy of incentives to promote community participation academic in these activities as well as the involvement of the university in public and private spaces and the active leadership of the university managers responsible for this function.

The objective of this article is to explain the relationship between academic writing and linguistic awareness that must be present during the process of preparing, reviewing and controlling research reports. The academic writing uses a formal writing, respectful of the science of language, both in its descriptive aspects and in its prescriptive or normative aspects. Linguistic awareness depends on knowledge of what language is and how it works from the simplest structures of sounds to the complex forms of words, phrases, sentences and paragraphs. Linguistics is the science of language. Its own and distinctive fields are phonetics, semantics and grammar. Let's briefly review each of them.
