Resumen
The refuge of German Jews in America and Chile in particular, responded to a traumatic process experienced with the establishment of German National Socialism and Italian Fascism between the second and third decades of the 20th century and the end of World War II. In Chile, it has been an issue addressed from the social, political and cultural dynamics of its arrival, without delving into the institutional factors that surround it. The present work addresses the dynamics of reception of the Jews who escaped from Europe between 1938 and 1940, from a political-institutional perspective. Through Historical Institutionalism and the analysisof documentary sources, it is shown that the open doors policy of the Popular Front came to an abrupt halt and ended up reinforcing the restriction on Jewish immigration, as had happened during the government of Arturo Alessandri Palma.

Resumen
This study examines the expressions of identification and affiliation of free and freedmen Afro-descendant soldiers to the independence processes of the Southern Cone. It contrasted with the images, classifications and racial otherness experienced in their military corps. From the discussion about identity from Cultural Studies and Social History, three military processes of the period are analyzed, to suggest that the identity of Afro-descendants was readjusted in the period and was projected to their interests and those of the homeland elite.

Resumen
This paper aims to analyze the trajectory of the Frente de Agrupaciones Eva Perón, one of the two university groups identified with left Peronism in the seventies at the University of La Plata. In turn, given the links established with the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias, it constituted a clear expression of the "articulation policy" that the armed group sought to establish with activist groups. This work has three objectives: to reconstruct the history of the FAEP, to address the ways in which it intervened in the university environment and to investigate the nature of its relationship with the FAR. For this we appeal to documentary sources and oral interviews.

Resumen
Within the context of the State emerging as an actor in the housing problem (1906), this article proposes that the creation of the Caja de la Habitación Popular in 1936 was a milestone in the changing view of housing provision from a response to social and moral problems to a right guaranteed by the State. The dimensions of this new political and technical discourse are studied through official periodical sources, which also show the emergence of the figure of the working family and the validation of the new institutionality between settlers and professionals.

Resumen
The five border processes managed by Bolivia throughout its republican life were schematically compared, in the expectation of finding a more comprehensive and plausible cause of why Chile concentrates the recognized Bolivian animosity in the South American and Latin American region, using interpretive models of Chilean border achievement criteria, applied to Bolivia. Therefore, the hypothesis is that through the category of myth, more clarity could be found to understand the maritime mythology now indianized, constitutionalized, and plurinationalized, projecting itself more assertive for Bolivian internal cohesion and functional to its foreign policy.

Resumen
This paper analyzes the role and composition of the Department of Municipalities of the Ministry of the Interior, a key institution in the restructuring of relations between the central level and the communal administrations, in a context of recentralization. Its role would consist of an administrative tutelage that would limit the degrees of municipal autonomy. The sources used are the nation's budgets, archival documentation, parliamentary discussions, municipal journals and the press. The main findings are related to the loss of relevance of this institution from the 1940's onwards and the neglect of municipal affairs by the central level.

Resumen
Wastewater from canning or fishmeal industries is considered a good source of several chemical compounds. To reduce the negative impact of these effluents on the marine ecosystems different techniques have been developed to remove solids, as well as to recover nutrients, like proteins, which can be employed in industries like food, agrochemical, or pharmaceutical. These proteins can be concentrated by ultrafiltration and nanofiltration systems. This methodology allows proteins with better nutrition quality and biological activities. This review examined and discussed several treatment technologies applied to recover solids from the canning and fishmeal industries, also the opportunity for the extraction of chemical compounds. Highlight in discussion the potential applications of the ultrafiltration on recovering functional and biological proteins from wastewater fish industries.
