Resumen
Analyzing the migratory experience of a woman who settled on the southern border of Mexico makes it possible to recognize and identify other thousands of stories of migrant women from Central America, as well as the processes they face upon being expelled from their country of birth. Along the journey, they become forced migrants obligated to inhabit other territories. This biography together with the experience in the Well-Being Program for People in Social and Natural Emergencies also reveal the processes of transformation in this dynamic in which power and violence emerge as core elements that manifest from different sources and change people’s lives.

Resumen
This paper first addresses the concepts of clientelism, paternalism, and simulation theoretically and then observes and analyzes these concepts in the case study of the Alliance of Rainforest Cocoa Producers, a non-profit organization, the members of which are in Maravilla Tenejapa, Chiapas. Based on the specificities of this case study, the paper aims to identify whether clientele, paternalistic, and simulation practices are in fact simple political practices or have become part of adaptation strategies to face a changing public policy.

Resumen
Through a clear and finely woven narrative, with well-defined dramatis personae and ethnographic stage, Stephen Lewis offers a historical treatment of the INI’s Indigenista Coordinator Center in los Altos de Chiapas. This case study analyzes the implementation of the indigenista project in the southern Mexican state, considering its achievements and vicissitudes, and evaluating its administration. Throughout the book, situated in the second half of the twentieth century, and supported by numerous archival sources, the author discusses different aspects of the work undertaken by the indigenistas, such as the Petul theater and the empowerment of indigenous leaders, an effort which represents an incentive to strengthen the historiographical debate about his period.

Resumen
This paper seeks to demonstrate the social, religious, and environmental implications of the feast of the Flower Child (festividad del Niño Florero) celebrated in the municipality of Acala, Chiapas State, using dynamics in which the signification processes of the territories emerge and make meaning of the feast. This is achieved through research that integrates a dialogic understanding of the physical and symbolic borders existing in living religiosity. The study was carried out through a triangulation process that considers: participant observation (2011-2014), interviews with leaders (2011-2012), and videographic material downloaded from the YouTube platform in June of 2021.

Resumen
A proposal that could be defined as “fractal ethnography” is in the reviewed book, a methodological and theoretical experiment to account for a region whose point of reference is Frontera Comalapa, Chiapas. The author, originally from that place, resorts to the ethnographic record and to different sources from which he does not exclude those that are characteristic of these times. He elaborates encapsulated descriptions, which together give the possibility of thinking about that zone of the Mexico-Guatemala border. Divided into four parts, the book, which does not have a temporal sequence and in which it is committed to the recording of speech, is also an existential reflection open to several questions whose answer is that of the fragments with which its author, Carlos Gutiérrez Alfonzo, out of amazement, has formed it.

Resumen
The book Siete ensayos sobre el populismo by Paula Biglieri and Luciana Cadahia, which openly refers to Siete ensayos de interpretación de la realidad peruana by José Carlos Mariátegui, is militant and combative. After each argumentative battle, there is a return to the construction of the notion of populism from an ontological and not merely strategic axis, which is anti-neoliberal, anti-fascist, internationalist, militant and feminist. The seven essays that compose the book, reviewed in this writing, are inserted in this bet. However, questions about cultural circulation, hegemony and popular culture in populism remain.

Resumen
Marta Lamas’s book entitled Dolor y política: Sentir, pensar y hablar desde el feminismo (that could translate as, Pain and Politics: Feeling, Thinking, and Speaking from a Feminist Perspective) encourages the reader to reflect upon the role feminist politics should play in the construction of a progressive alternative. It reviews the author’s positions: her concerns, emotions, and lifetime struggles, especially after having been one of the key figures attacked by feminist groups and collectives. This book is not only a reflection about feminism, but also about the current time, the detours taken by some leftist movements, gains, losses, yearnings, attachments, and, in particularly internal disputes.

Resumen
Introduction: A Home-packed lunch must contain 15% of the total caloric value, including fruits or vegetables, prepared food, and water, according to the guidelines in Mexico. However, some schools issue internal regulations that do not meet the guidelines or nutritional recommendations. Objective: to compare the nutrient content and type of food in preschool home-packed lunches from two different internal regulations. In addition, determine if they meet the guidelines proposed in 2010 and 2014. Materials and methods: snacks were evaluated under two regulations: Healthy Food Regulation (RAS), which only includes fruits and vegetables, and free choice regulation (RLE). The lunches were compared regarding their nutritional content and the type of food with the guidelines (SS-SEP/2010 and 2014). Results: Home-packed lunches contributed 6.5% and 22.9% of the energy in RAS and RLE, respectively. Vitamin C content exceeded the Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) (144%) in RAS, but was deficient in other micronutrients. In RLE, sodium was high (39.9% RDI). Only 5.1% of all snacks were considered healthy according to SS/SEP-2010 guidelines, but not under SS/SEP 2014. Conclusions: It is necessary to involve health professionals in implementing nutritional regulations.

Resumen
Introduction:During the university stage, as a result of the increase in academic activities, students experience unhealthy changes in their lifestyle habits. Objective: To characterize the lifestyle and its possible relationship with the Body Mass Index (BMI) in students of the Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition at the Autonomous University of Yucatan. Methods: Cross-sectional relational comparative study, with a convenience sample of 110 students of both sexes, the data were obtained through Nola Pender's PEPS-I survey. The information was collected through Microsoft Forms and the Chi-square test of independence was performed with the SPSS v.22 statistical package. Results: Of the participants, 78 were female (71.0%) and 32 were male (29.0%). Of the total, 51 students (46.4%) had a medium lifestyle and 77 students (70.0%) were normal weight according to the BMI. As a result of the statistical test, the independence between the variables analyzed was confirmed (p-value=0.598). Conclusion: There is no statistically significant relationship between lifestyle levels and BMI ranges of the students.

Resumen
Introduction: Social support on social networks are those online relationships that are maintained with a relative basis of sincerity, support and trust that can be resorted to if necessary. Objective: To determine the relationship and differences between the perceived social support in social networks with sociodemographic variables in university students of two public institutions belonging to the North and South of Mexico (Monterrey and Minatitlan). Material and method: Exploratory design. The sample consisted of 304 university students with non-probabilistic sampling for convenience. The Spearman, Mann-Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis test was used considering the statistical significance of p< 0.05. Results: Significant differences were found, with greater perceived social support in students from the northern area and in lower semesters. There were no significant differences with respect to sex. A negative relationship was found between perceived social support with the semester (rs=-202, p<.05) and age (rs=-286, p<.05). Conclusions: University students in less advanced semesters receive greater social support from social networks and as they progress it is diminished, so also at a younger age greater perception of social support. It is important to develop support strategies in social networks that strengthen emotional and cognitive aspects of students during their training.
