Resumen
The goal of this article is to study the transnational scope generated in Mexico by the cinematographic productions of the brothers José Luis, Pedro and Guillermo Calderón, who in the decades of the forties and fifties were distinguished by their recurrent transactions for the exchange of artists from different regions of Spain and Latin America in their productions. To this end, the notion of transnationality in cinema is problematized, focusing in the experiences of migration that took foreign artists to participate in Mexican cinema, studying in particular the cases of the Cuban actress and dancer Ninón Sevilla, the Spanish actress Emilia Guiú and the Spanish actor Jorge Mistral. Also, the phenomenon of migration is approached from its inclusion in the narrative plot, through the analysis of the character system and their spatial transfers in the films Los amores de un torero (José Díaz Morales, 1945) and Aventura en Río (Alberto Gout, 1953). The analysis takes into account some topics linked to production of films and the problem of the distinction between the national and the transnational.

Resumen
The Western philosophy postulates present reason and emotion as antagonistic forces that motivate individuals in their everyday decision making. In the Western culture, reason has had to dominate emotion so as to reach objective decisions. Habermas hypothesis about the rational dimension of the public sphere reaffirms this tendency that states the public domain should find an order based on rational principles. Although rationalism is still predominant among Social Science researchers, a change in the approaches is evident: emotions have begun to be included in studies when the comprehension of contemporary phenomenon is necessary. Particularly, in the political communication field, emotion as a topic of exploration is new. However, new disciplinary perspectives allow innovating in research inquiries. The aim of this article is to examine literature about the main postulates of the Affective Intelligence Theory which, with Neuroscience, offer other perspectives to the political communication field.

Resumen
This article seeks to problematize, from the perspective of several authors, the implications of the message used in various communication platforms, in the context of the Knowledge Society. The elements exposed in this paper indicate the need to meditate about the design and construction of citizenship within a context of peace, for a better approach to the reality of a country like Colombia. Thus, a theoretical framework is proposed to develop a communication that allows to generate social integration processes and, from the need to build peace scenarios, contribute to civic education.

Resumen
This article aims to analyze the changes in the photojournalistic practice because of the incorporation of digital media. A first hypothesis is an aesthetic of closeness, a concept that refers to the presentation of photographs or audiovisual products made by professional photographers who introduce an amateur aesthetic or use nonprofessional media. The objective is to explore some of the keys to the advent of this aesthetic of closeness and its main formal strategies, in order to analyze the current status of photography in its relationship with the representation of reality. The analysis is based on data from a limited sample probe taken at some journalistic approaches selected and questionnaires made those responsible for the multimedia content of four uruguayan media.

Resumen
As a documentary photographer, Brazilian João Ripper has travelled his vast country and lived with different communities, which he had pictured for the purpose of leading photography towards the service of human rights. Through his project Imagens Humanas (Human Images) he portrays the conflicts endured by different social groups: access to land, housing, slavery, and child labor. In this interview, Ripper reflects on his professional work, his experiences and learning instances, as well as his responsibility to communicate those realities, which he has assumed from a place of affection and fondness (bien querer) in order to show the world the beauty of those considered others.

Resumen
This article proposes the subsumption of the concept of ‘cyberactivism’ —which is reduced to the strategic use of digital technologies for political mobilizations— in that of ‘digital biopolitics’ understood as incessant production of the common, in and through networks. In order to operate this conceptual displacement, the main concepts of cyberactivism are discussed and it is argued that, although these visions help to understand how the networks facilitated the emergence of a general culture of mobilization, they do not problematize the possibilities of catching the mobilizations own network, nor the existence of a digital activism of a reproductive/conservative nature. Thus, this paper presents the idea of a digital biopolitics to think of manifestations —provoked by events— as possibilities that emerge from an immanent process of production of the common in the networks. To support this idea, the strategies of two Brazilian social movements are analyzed.

Resumen
The aim of this article is to reflect on the socializing condition that media have in a context in which coexist the traditional reception and new forms of virtual participation. Taking as starting point the contributions of Alfred Schütz, Albert Bandura, Claudio Esteva Fabregat and Lluís Duch it is evident the need to deepen the concept of media socialization and the key role of subjects. Therefore, it is necessary to adopt a dialectical perspective that integrates the role of humans as mediators and the socializing capacity of media discourses, leaving behind all passive vision of subjects.
