Resumen
This article is an inquiry into three stages of ethical-aesthetic manifestations of the work of the playwright Guillermo Calderon. I suggest that Calderón's work is anchored in the representational structure of the Chilean left culture that emerged in the 60s and 70s. This proposed first instance reveals the intrinsic relationship in that work between ethical elements and aesthetic. In the second instance, the way in which ethical elements are represented, such as antagonistic ones, and verisimilitude are analyzed. The last section of the article seeks to find concrete examples of these representations in three stages of Calderón's work. Analytical elements include not only theatrical pieces; elements of music, painting, poetry and cinema are also used. It seeks to dialogue on equal terms with the transmedia elements present in Calderon's work.

Resumen
In 1875, Román Vial (Valparaíso, 1833-1896) published La mujer hombre. The story shows the transvestite protagonist, in a male body with which she has achieved financial independence and socially acknowledged in the public realm. Based on the above, this paper deals with an interpretation of the main character's expression as a gesture of subjugation related to the culturally-based ruling system of the time. Besides, it provides an analysis of how the female subject within the dramatic frame of the text has been underestimated; this has been done by referring to the following aspects: a) the image of the male / father as a symbol of order; b) the denial of subjectivity taking place in female characters and of the processes that they go through; and c) the archetype of the woman dominated by passion and irrationality.

One of the fundamental propositions of the theory of international trade is the hypothesis that free trade is profitable. This hypothesis underlay many of the trade liberalization movements that took place at the end of the twentieth century. After undertaking a critical review of the requirements for this free trade hypothesis to be valid, this article concludes that, in order to secure the expected gains of trade liberalization, it needs to be accompaniedby a very sophisticated public policy effort, one that is hard for governments to achieve. However, the policies of trade adjustment and correction of market failures can help to partially compensate those negatively affected by trade, and aid in realizing the efficiency gains it offers.

Resumen
This paper deals with the most emblematic festivity of Alvarado, a town located in the Sotavento region of Veracruz. It is the so-called encierro de burros, in which men dressed in women’s clothes, parade in dancing troupes and allegorical cars, mocking a traditional cavalcade that women of the city’s elite carried out since the 19th century. From an anthropologycal qualitative approach, centered on the way people signifies its actions, we examine how what we call “festive or carnavalesque transvestism” reinforces heterosexual, homophobic and violent masculinity, while making invisible the important participation of women and the gay community during the festivity.

Resumen
University teaching professionalism enters into the problems inherent in the quality of higher education, a relevant task for the sake of training competent university graduates in the conditions of highly complex contexts scientifically and technologically. The analysis of the relationships between teacher professionalization and professionalism in educational processes, in addition to its conceptualizations, constituted core aspects in both its theoretical and practical approach, necessarily with a dialectical approach. The study presented had the objective of evaluating the teaching professionalism in the teachers of the Department of Primary Education of the Hermanos Saíz Montes de Oca University, for which indicators of teaching professionalism were determined and these were subjected to evaluation through written questionnaires built with the scheme of the Likert scale; information processing was done on the basis of percentage analysis, class grouping of data and data triangulation. Based on criteria established by the authors, the indicators of professionalism achieved, those not achieved and those in which successes are identified, but not sufficient satisfaction, were identified; in general, there was a high appreciation of the professionalism demonstrated by the teachers. The research was considered as a reference for other studies on the subject.

Resumen
Formative research has acquired great importance in the curricular plans of universities since it can be seen as a strategy to train students in research. The purpose of this review article was to describe the concept of formative research and its implementation in higher education. Different databases and academic search engines, journal portals and electronic books were used to locate bibliographic documents; Afterwards, we proceeded to select the articles that prioritized the theoretical foundations of formative research, research training and formative research, characteristics of formative research, research as a pedagogical strategy and a model of formative research in universities. To begin with the elaboration of the review article, we proceeded to the documentary analysis, the group discussion and the evaluation of the quality of the articles found. The conclusion we reached was that formative research is a teaching strategy at universities in which professors and students share their research and studies through the development of the school years and allows teaching scientific research skills.
