Resumen
With a critical look, based on visual studies and film theory, the ways in which the work of the audiovisual creator Bruno Varela, Colisión (2014), problematizes the overproduction and clandestine distribution of images of corpses and violent acts are analyzed. , related to the crisis caused by drug trafficking in Mexico. Based on an analytical scaffolding of an aesthetic-poetic nature, the links that the artist establishes between the archive of damaged images with which he works and the policies of digital decomposition to which they were subjected in their codification are questioned as metaphors about the disintegration of the social fabric, product of criminal activity.

Resumen
Unlike the cinema-merchandise offered by the hegemonic film industry (Hollywood) for the consumption of the masses, the imperfect cinema (1969), conceived by Cuban film director and theorist Julio García Espinosa, not exactly as an art but as a poetics 'interested' in achieving the most (perfection) with the least, that is, to achieve the best results with the best resources, it is raised as an activity that should also be popular and democratic (of everyone and for everyone). Under these precepts, imperfect cinema comes to life and develops in the first decades of post-revolutionary Cuba despite limitations of all type, managing to consolidate a national industry that came to produce important films both for Cuba and for world film culture, of which. Here are some examples.

Resumen
A comparative analysis is carried out between the novels El túnel, by Ernesto Sábato, and El extranjero, by Albert Camus. We follow the methodology of comparative literature, in its thematic branch, to study in both works the existentialist concepts of nothingness, the absurd, the Camusian myth of Sisyphus and rebellion. By recovering the idea of the transition between absurdity and rebellion, raised by the researcher Juvenal Vargas Muñoz, we have discovered that the two writers update the Aristotelian tragic scheme from the terms ‘hybris’, ‘anagnórisis’ and ‘hamartia’. Thanks to this we can propose an original and novel interpretation of the novels.

Resumen
The narrative “The legend of Ondal” belongs to one of the oldest classical works in the Korean literary tradition. Initially written in Chinese letters, today it is translated into contemporary Korean and still continues to be the object of academic analysis and a source of artistic inspiration.

Resumen
A catastrophe deprives the protagonist of this story of her family, but in a camp of survivors she meets a little girl who restores her ability to love. This story by Lauren Groff gives us a space to reflect on maternity and the cycles that come and go, like the waves of the sea.

Resumen
The international circulation of books involves various actors and practices and is largely carried out by the accumulation of capital. This flow becomes viable, above all, with the translation activity. From a sociological perspective, we focus on some actors in the circulation of Mexican literature in an international space, part of a case study: the translation of David Toscana's narrative production. The importance that the different actors of this circuit acquire, the construction and effects of prestige, as well as the little visibility that there is regarding some involved, such as the literary agent, is highlighted. This last figure has become essential for the start-up of translations and their entry into the markets.

Resumen
Be part of the so-called Letters of the Seer, written by Arthur Rimbaud in May of 1871, and addressed to Georges Izambard and Paul Demeny, in order to investigate how he built his poetic, applied in his verses and in his facets as a photographer and explorer. written in full Commune of Paris, these letters, influenced by popular revolts, anarchist ideas and communists, the labor movements and the invention of photography, coincide with the ruptura ra of the stylistic, moral and political canons of Rimbaud, then 16 years old. It sinks-given in the prophetic function of poetry, which laid the foundations for the subsequent writing of A Season In Hell and Les Illuminations. Finally, he realizes how the search for a language universal, emancipated from classical forms, transcended time and had repercussions on the expressions ns of artists such as Alejandra Pizarnik, Neruda, Patti Smith, Picasso, Bertolt Brecht and Pasolini.

Resumen
n “Era Mercurio”, I propose the act of renunciation as a resistance to the hegemonic world. This is an appropriation of Javier, the protagonist and narrator, from two irruptions: the diary about the abdication of Carlos A. Madrazo and Mercurio, a supernatural character. These are also intertextualities of the culture represented in the story (1965) and greco-roman culture. Such invasions happen one after the other to oppose Ema (his fiancée), who represents reality and a false beauty, and the social values (contracts) of Mexico City, in this case marriage.
