The research deals with two current topics and is divided into two parts: the first, it covers the electronic value title, where basic aspects about this legal figure are presented in terms of the conceptual notion and the purpose of its use. The research aims to explain the general function of electronic value title and its essential features that allow it to have sufficient effects to be born into legal life. It makes a cursory analysis of the regulation and operation of the electronic value title addressing the normativity of laws where customary law is applied and laws whose regulation in civil and commercial matters are sufficiently structured to ensure legal certainty.   The second part, includes electronic signatures highlighting basic conceptual notions, the rules for an electronic signature to become fully fledged and the various types of electronic signatures most commonly used by contemporary society in the legal field are made known; It also highlights the importance of these signatures to avoid a supplanting in its creation that entails signing acceptance of forced or non-existent wills. It is qualitative theoretical research with the aim that from the development of the theoretical framework a deeper understanding is obtained regarding the topics under study, which allows, in turn, Without the collection of data with numerical measurement, theories of two unexplored topics are developed.

This article is part of the doctoral research entitled Estudio de Pertinencia de los Programas de Formación y Ejercicio Profesional de los Criminólogos en Nuevo León, developed at the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, with funding from the Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACYT) in Mexico. This article highlights the importance of scientific research in the areas of criminology and criminalistics and points out four pending areas of development: epistemology and methodology; criminological philosophy; scientific research; and teaching. In Mexico, the organization in charge of guiding scientific and technological activity is CONACYT, of which several areas in which it is linked to criminology and scientific research are presented here. It also shows the process of involvement in the training in science and methodology to be incorporated into the exercise of research and development of knowledge, through quality postgraduate studies. Finally, criminologists in Mexico who are distinguished by the national government as researchers are listed.

This work will analyze the embargo of de facto administrators from the perspective of the Bankruptcy Process Law in harmony with the General Code of Procedure, from its origin, as well as its requirements and appealability, in contrast to the de jure administrator.

More than eleven years after the judgement of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (IACtHR) in the Gelman case, we proceed to study how this international ruling has influenced the national jurisprudence. Fluctuations can be observed in the jurisprudence until a kind of harmony is found between the national and the international jurisdiction.

The United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture has approved eight thematic reports on the use of force; migration; prohibition of torture; corruption; domestic violence; psychological torture; biopsychosocial factors; and state cooperation. In 2021, the rapporteur requested input on the impact of the reports and their relevance in the national context. This article is the response to the rapporteur's request regarding Brazil, based on an interview with a specialist in torture prevention, in addition to theoretical research of specialized literature, legislation, jurisprudence, press releases and reports from international organizations. It may be of interest to academics, lawyers and agents committed to human rights issues and studies on Brazil.
