Resumen
Universidad Nacional de José Clemente Paz (UNPAZ) is part of a set of public universities fostered between 2009 and 2015 in Argentina which, from their inception, aimed at the inclusion of sectors of the population who had not generally had access to these institutions before. This article seeks to document, from a biographical approach, the ways in which teachers of the Department of Economics, Production and Technological Innovation of the UNPAZ enunciate and characterize their arrival at that university as turning points in their life and work trajectories. For this purpose, we pay special attention to the meanings that the teachers interviewed bring into play in relation to the institutional environment and its imprint, and to how different aspects of teaching work (teaching, research, outreach) converge in a scenario permeated by the creation of courses of study with a tinge of innovation.The approach to these trajectories is strongly based on the categories of time and space, which are central to the biographical approach, and it recovers those "turning points" that seem to spark reconfigurations from the stories narrated.

Resumen
In the task of investigating imaginaries and social representations, this article is an invitation to discuss and reflect on possible theoretical and methodological strategies to approach them. The questions addressed in the article are: how can the vast Moscovician and Castoridian theoretical production be brought into dialogue with grounded theory? What contributions can grounded theory make to the study of imaginaries and social representations? This article offers a synthesis of those discussions in which grounded theory is presented as a possible way to approach both social representations from the Moscovician theoretical framework and social imaginaries from the Castoridian perspective.

Resumen
In order to think adequately about the development of research in social sciences, it is necessary to approach the issue comprehensively in its theoretical, methodological and empirical dimensions. This review seeks to recover the main aspects developed in the new book by Néstor Cohen y Gabriela Gómez Rojas, Metodología de la investigación, ¿para qué?: la producción de los datos y los diseños (“Research methodology: what for? The production of data and designs”). The authors of this volume invite us to problematize the research process by emphasizing the dialogue between the theory, the methodology and the fact to be measured.

Resumen
This article reflects on and provides lessons learned from the work experience obtained while doing my bachelor thesis to obtain my degree in Sociology. The aim is to reflectively address those issues raised through the fieldwork in the Mar del Plata landfill, and also to narrate the experiences that made it possible to conduct the interviews, as well as the always complex task of deploying the research results through writing. At the same time, this paper aims to raise new questions about everything that happens (to us), and about the way our own biography impacts and is impacted upon on this journey.

Resumen
This paper aims to describe the theoretical and methodological design of a national survey on the social structure of Argentina and the reception of public initiatives implemented during the COVID-19 pandemic (ESAyPP/PISAC-COVID-19). The survey investigates the effects of the pandemic on central dimensions of the social reproduction of households from the theoretical perspectives of the analysis of social class, gender, socio-residential insertion and impact of public policies. The design and implementation of the ESAyPP/PISAC COVID-19 had a federal character through the articulation of research teams from all regions of the country. It is a comprehensive survey with estimation domain by region that allows for an interregional comparative perspective.

Resumen
This article presents the set of theoretical-methodological decisions developed within the framework of a research based on a mixed approach on the State of Child Welfare, Household Living Conditions and Care in the face of Preventive and Compulsory Social Isolation by Covid-19 in the cities of La Plata, Berisso and Ensenada. The presentation focuses on two aspects: on the one hand, a detailed explanation and reflection on the design, as well as the main methodological decisions are accounted for. On the other hand, the article delves into the challenges inherent to a research conducted through the use of digital mediations.

Resumen
Transient employment is a structural feature that affects labor markets in the agricultural sector and is one of the major sources of social vulnerability in Latin American rural households. However, in Uruguay the characteristics of transient workers and their living conditions have been little addressed. For this reason, this article seeks to use a multivariate quantitative approach, through the use of logistic regression models to study the main characteristics of this group empirically at the national level.The article first reviews the main antecedents on the subject in the literature, and second, it elaborates an operationalization of transient agricultural employment for Uruguay based on the National Household Survey. Finally, by means of a logistic model, a social profile of those who are more likely to take these unstable jobs and the conditions of social reproduction of their vulnerability are established.

Resumen
Given the recent scientific contributions marked by the assumption of complexity as a paradigm, social research has been undergoing a methodological expansion in order to enhance its ability to understand social reality. This paper delves into understanding the relationship and confluence that in recent decades has occurred between two different methods such as ethnography and participatory action research (PAR). From this reflection arises the proposal of Critical Ethnographies of Social Action (ECAP), committed to the methodological crossroads which are necessary for the understanding and the attempt to modify the social, political and cultural reality.

Resumen
This article presents a brief characterization of the policy problematization approach and focuses on its application to the field of educational policy. Within this approach, the methodological procedure “What's the problem represented to be?” (WPR) developed by Carol Bacchi is given particular attention. This article involves the discussion of a set of twenty papers that account for the application of the problematization approach to the study of educational policies. Some considerations on the scope and potential of this approach for the field of educational policy research, with emphasis on the Latin American region, are offered in the final section.

Resumen
This article presents the methodological process of research whose purpose was to determine the structuring logic expressed by the strategies of social reproduction of family units of agricultural production in a Cuban municipality. A triangulated methodology was used in a correlational and cross-sectional research, with a non-experimental design, supported by a multiple case study and the typological method. This procedure is applicable to similar subjects and allows the combination of techniques with indicators provided, computer programs for the purpose of classifying subjects, and the creation of statistics from an inclusive and expanded perspective.
