Resumen
The dental eruption starts in the early odontogenesis with the pre-irruptive phase and ends when the tooth reaches its functional position in the occlusal plane. The eruption of primary teeth and the manifestation of symptoms in children is the subject of a wide debate in the literature. The purpose of the study is to determine whether signs and symptoms occur during the eruption of deciduous teeth according to the reports of parents and guardians of children aged 6 months to 3 years. Data were collected through a questionnaire directed to 50 parents and caregivers who accompanied children from 6 months to 3 years of age for dental care. Brazil Platform. There were signs and symptoms that were described as irritability, fever, diarrhea, swollen gums, gingival itching, excessive salivation, insomnia, loss of appetite, pain, crying, stomatitis and no reported symptoms. It can be concluded that irritability, fever and diarrhea were the signs and symptoms most reported by parents and guardians.

Resumen
Dental fear in children can vary in its nature, intensity and persistence, transforming into a negative and problematic behavior that the dentist must identify in order to provide appropriate treatment. The objective of this study was to evaluate dental fear in 190 boys and girls aged 4 to 12 who attended dental services in the city of El Alto, through the use of the Scale for the Evaluation of Fear in Children - Dental Subscale. Additionally, information was collected from previous dental experiences.
The results obtained revealed a total mean of 30.7 ± 8.3 on the scale, which indicates that the dental fear is low among the children evaluated. Neither were significant differences found in terms of gender. In relation to age, the group of children between 10 and 12 years old showed a higher proportion (41%) of dental fear than the other groups of children of younger ages. The experience of previous dental visits is more frequently associated with low levels of dental fear, as opposed to the moderate and high levels found in those who attended for the first time. Choking, injections, and being touched by a stranger have been identified as causing the most anxiety in children.
The present study concluded that the prevalence of dental fear in children in the city of El Alto is low and not associated with gender, but there is evidence that it may increase in older children and in those who had no previous dental experiences.

Resumen
Natal and neonatal teeth are present at birth or in the first month of life. They are observed more frequently in the mandibular central incisors, and in most cases, these teeth represent the true primary teeth. Clinical characteristics, possible complications and the clinical course are parameters to consider for proper management. Nevertheless, different reports argue that complications may occur after extraction in newborns. To date, there are no documented cases reported in the literature describing complications in retained teeth, such as aspiration of a tooth. The objective of the present study is to introduce four cases, three of which were treated with conservative management. Considering that the prevalence has increased progressively in recent years, neonatologists and pediatric dentists must make an early diagnosis and offer adequate treatment, providing general and oral wellness for each patient. The success of the treatment depends on periodic follow-up.

Resumen
Impacted teeth are frequently observed in clinical practice. However, the presence of impacted premolars is a rarely reported dental anomaly. It is known of a genetic relationship between the presence of several dental anomalies in the same patient as well as in the same family. Among the anomalies associated with lower premolar impactions are palatal impacted cuspids and upper lateral incisors with alteration in shape or number. This investigation aimed to describe the causes associated with lower premolar impaction through a series of 6 cases, between 11 and 15 years of age. The results found suggest the causes associated with the impaction of lower premolars were prolonged retention of primary teeth, altered eruptive pattern, presence of supernumeraries, premature loss of primary teeth and delayed eruption associated with hormonal factors. It is concluded that the presence of premolar impaction points to an association of several causes that converge, observing not only one but several dental anomalies.

Resumen
Guiding the behavior of the child patient is one of the most important aspects of pediatric dentistry practice. As a result of the social changes that have taken place in the last 25 years, especially in the styles of upbringing, some behavioral guidance techniques classically used have been discarded because parents consider them inappropriate for their children. This has led not only to a decrease in their use, but also to changes in the training in this respect in the university programs of Pediatric Dentistry, both undergraduate and graduate. Currently, techniques considered aversive are less used, reinforcing the training in the use of communicative and pharmacological techniques to avoid any situation that parents may consider unpleasant and even potentially traumatic for the child. This study conducted a review of the literature on the behavioral guidance techniques most currently used by pediatric dentists, those most taught in dental training programs and the influence of parental acceptance on all of this.

Resumen
The adenomatoid odontogenic tumor (AOT) was described in 1905 by Steensland. In 2005, the WHO classified it as a benign neoplasm consisting of odontogenic epithelium with fibrous stroma without odontogenic ectomesenchyme. The differential diagnosis of AOT should be made with the dentigerous cyst, unicystic ameloblastoma and calcifying epithelial odontogenic tumor.
This article presents the case of a 14-year-old female patient who attends the dental service of the " HIGA President Perón to Avellaneda", who, upon intraoral analysis, detected a bulging of the vestibular bone table in the anterior area of ??the Right hemi-mandible at the level of the canines and premolars, painless, of solid consistency, defined edges, without crepitation, not identified by the patient with absence of tooth 44 and persistence of 84.
It was decided to intervene under general anesthesia for the surgical removal of the lesion, obtaining in the anatomopathology study as a result Adenomatoid Odontogenic Tumor or AOT.

Resumen
The objective of this study was to report a clinical case of sealing active caries lesions, score 5 of the International Caries Detection and Assessment System- ICDAS, in the first permanent molars of a 9-year-old boy. On clinical examination, active lesions were identified, score 5 and 3 in elements 16 and 26, respectively. However, in the radiographic examination it was observed that the lesion of tooth 26 was also in the external half of dentin. Thus, both lesions were score 5. The minimal intervention treatment with the sealing of the carious lesions was performed, using resinous sealant with an intermediate layer of adhesive. In 6 months of follow-up, loss of integrity of the sealant was observed on tooth 16, and the repair was carried out; after one year, the lesions were paralyzed. Therefore, the sealing of caries lesions seems to be suitable for enamel lesions reaching the external half of dentin.

Resumen
Abstract: Purpose: To present an evidence-based guideline for non-vital pulp therapies due to deep caries or trauma in primary teeth. Methods: The authors, working with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, conducted a systematic review/meta-analysis for studies on non-vital primary teeth resulting from trauma or caries and used the GRADE approach to assess level of certainty of evidence for clinical recommendations. Results: GRADE was assessed from high to very low. Comparing teeth with/without root resorption, pulpectomy success was better (P<0.001) in those without preoperative root resorption. Zinc oxide plus iodoform plus calcium hydroxide ([ZO/iodoform/CH]; EndoflasTM) and zinc oxide and eugenol (ZOE) pulpectomy success did not differ from iodoform (iodoform plus calcium hydroxide; VitapexTM, MetapexTM) (P=0.55) after 18-months; however, ZO/iodoform/CH and ZOE success rates remained near 90 percent while iodoform was 71 percent or less. Network analysis ratings showed ZO/iodoform/CH and ZOE better than iodoform. Lesion sterilization tissue repair (LSTR) was better (P<0.001) than pulpectomy in teeth with preoperative root resorption, but pulpectomy results were better (P=0.09) if roots were intact. Rotary instrumentation of root canals was significantly faster (P<0.001) than manual, but the quality of fill did not differ (P=0.09) and both had comparable success. Network analysis ranked ZO/iodoform/CH the best, ZOE second, and iodoform lowest at 18 months. Success rates were not impacted by method of obturation or root length determination, type of tooth, number of visits, irrigants, smear layer removal, or timing/type of final restoration. Conclusions: Pulpectomy 18-month success rates supported ZO/iodoform/CH and ZOE pulpectomy over iodoform. LSTR had limited indication for teeth with resorbed roots and requires close monitoring. Resumen
Background Information: Kerr McNeil, a Scottish prosthetic introduced the Neonatal maxillary orthopedics two centuries ago setting the concept of using orthopedic parts to produced a more natural-like maxilla. Three different types of pre-surgical orthopedics have been described. These are: active, semi-active and passive. Objective: Perform a research in indexed data regarding the success of pre-surgical orthopedics treatment in patients with a condition of cleft lip and cleft palate. Methodology: A computer based research was performed at electronic data bases such as: PUBMED, SCIENCEDIRECT, PROQUEST, COCHRANE, OVIDSP SCOPUS, and MEDLINE. The Booleans researches used in the multiples data bases were OR, AND, NOT. Findings: Thirteen papers met the eligibility standards and were included in this review. Four of them are descriptive, longitudinal and prospective observational studies. Five are clinic reports, one is a retrospective study, one is a Cochrane review, and two are clinic cases and check ups. The orthopedics treatment implementation depended on the kind of extension cases and severity of the cleft palate. Conclusion: the pre-surgical orthopedics is successful if it is implemented at birth up to three months of age. It assures satisfactory results decreasing considerably cleft palate, nasal malformation, and cleft lip before performing Cheilorrhaphy and Palatorrhaphy procedures.

Resumen
Abstract
The term Molar Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH) was suggested by the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry (EAPD) to refer to this as a defect specific to Enamel development. MIH is a tooth Enamel defect extensively studied, but to date, risk factors are not conclusive; however, it is considered of systemic and multifactorial origin, presenting a varied prevalence of 2.9-44% reported in recent studies. Systemic implications can occur in specific periods (pre, peri and postnatal) considered important and critical in the development of life human. Objective: to provide the best scientific evidence available on the systemic factors associated with Incisor Molar Hypomineralization. Materials and methods: a systematic search was carried out by selecting primary studies based on data in electronic databases: Pub Med, Cochrane Library and Hinari through the PICO question. Results: 115 studies were identified through the electronic search of these; only 18 were eligible according to the criteria of inclusion. Conclusion: There is ample evidence of systemic implications that are associated with MIH, however, are not entirely conclusive so the
results should be analyzed with prudence considering future research. Among them stand out: complications in pregnancy, high fevers, arterial hypertension, gestational diabetes, infectious processes, frequent use of antibiotics and malnutrition, as well as premature delivery, low birth weight, respiratory diseases, fever and otitis in the first years of the child's life.
