The results presented in this article deepen the analysis of the formation process of Cuban philosophy in non- prioritized works of the study presented in previous issues of this journal, regarding the transforming and creative spirit of the educational project of the 19th century Cuban professor José de la Luz y Caballero. The objective of the article is to present the contributions that the great educator makes to the teaching of Philosophy and the education of young people in the 10 critical reports prepared during the months of May to December 1838. The article examines the conceptualization of Luz y Caballero regarding the teaching of Philosophy and the implementation of that discipline as a resource for the analysis of social phenomena, analyzes the teaching method, studies the development of science and exposes its contributions to the encouragement for the creation of an autonomous philosophical thought.

Preparing a child to learn writing in the first grade in the elementary level requires a reconstruction that takes into account the characteristics of the written language, as well as the child’s attitude towards it as the object of knowledge, and how it influences the child’s cultural development from the very beginning. Accordingly, the authors present considerations regarding this process, and the need to renovate its didactics, starting with the use of an active methodology when interacting with children, that considers the stated conditions as necessary premises to accomplish the pedagogical work that demands the child’s preparation to assimilate the written code. Empirical evidence was obtained by observing lessons, applying surveys to teachers, managers and specialists, conducting interviews, analyzing normative documents of the first grade, and through the study of the outcomes of the students’ activity and the analysis of reports containing the results of the preparation period.

Concatenation among text, José Martí’s texts and José Martí’s texts with environmental semantic content becomes necessary with a new perspective on the analysis of José Martí’s texts in the subject Spanish - Literature in Senior High School Education; it implies the deciphering of essential ideas that express the man-nature-society relation through words and linguistic expressions that conceptualize biotic and abiotic elements. The objective is to demonstrate the symbiosis of man - nature - society as an expression of a profound and general analysis in the strengthening of environmental education in Senior High School Education students. Theoretical methods, such as, analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and practical methods, such as, document review were used.

The present work deals with the systematization of the theoretical conceptions regarding the teaching of literacy to children with mild intellectual disability, as well as the main techniques and standardized methods to be implemented in the aforesaid process. Its objective is to design a proposal of speech therapy activities using the Glenn Doman method, to facilitate the process of teaching literacy to children with mild intellectual disabilities. Methods such as consulting sources, analysis and synthesis, induction-deduction, modeling, observation and interview were used. The implementation of the proposal made it possible to increase the level of training of teachers, speech therapists and families according to the learning process of literacy, and it also allowed to obtain significant achievements in the learning process of children.

This article refers to an investigation regarding the preparation of the teacher of Spanish as a foreign language for online teaching, within the framework of the study on the current state of the improvement of this teacher. The objective was to identify achievements and limitations in the professional performance of teachers of Spanish as a foreign language in public schools in Jamaica. A mixed methodological approach that combined methods, measurement scales and quantitative and qualitative data, was used. The methods, instruments and techniques used were survey, observation and interview. The research identifies limitations in the professional performance of this teacher that are related to theoretical-methodological insufficiencies, highlighting the needs of enhancing the contents for the improvement of this teacher in the Jamaican educational system.

The present article proposes theorical-methodological considerations regarding the teaching-learning process of writing texts in the teachers’ training. Its foundations are based on the new conceptions of language that focus on speech, the significant contributions of cognitive and sociocognitive theories related to the conception of the writing process, the postulates of historical-cultural psychology and the most recent contributions of the teaching of the mother tongue in Cuba from a cognitive-communicative and sociocultural approach. Methods, such as bibliographical review, analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction, were used to do this article.

In this article a didactic conception of civics as an educational dimension was analyzed from the perspective of developmental learning. Correspondingly, the dialectical interconnection of methods, contents and evaluation was conceived in order to form modes of action in different educational contexts. Empirical and theoretical methods were used to evaluate the realization of a didactic conception in the teaching-learning process of the Marxism-Leninism discipline, taking into account its theoretical-methodological potentialities. This makes it possible to enhance professional modes of action as an expression of citizenship. The exploratory study revealed the need of accomplishing new structures that connote the importance of civics as an educational dimension from the interaction of civic contents, the methods that allow its revitalization, as well as evaluation as an educational component with a developmental

The work presented is developed on the basis of a social problem of science that manifests itself in the conception and execution of the teaching-learning process of biological sciences, where the appropriation of indispensable knowledge for the study of facts, phenomena and their application to life, with an interdisciplinary approach. The objective of this work is to present a methodological alternative for the interdisciplinary formation of the professional in formation of the Biology course at the Escola Superior Pedagógica de Kuanza Norte in the Republic of Angola. For this, theoretical methods were used, such as analysis – synthesis, induction – deduction; empirical methods such as observation and interview, which made it possible to base and propose solutions to the problem raised. The novelty consists of the presentation of alternatives, based on contemporary trends in Higher Education Didactics and the current model of the education professional.

This work is the result of the experience of its authors in the formation of values ??in university education. Methods such as analysis and source criticism were used to integrate the information contained in the bibliography consulted on values ??and assertiveness seen from different scientific angles. Methods, such as, analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction were used to process the information collected and reach conclusions; the logical historical method was used for the evolutionary analysis of the theory related to the subject; surveys were used to obtain information related to the actual situation of the researched problem; and participant observation method was used to verify the degree of development of the pedagogical process of values. All this made it possible to verify that identifying assertiveness as a shared social value is a current need, therefore a new construct is proposed from a new projection that enriches the axiological theory.

The objective of this article is to demonstrate how the Environmental Education inserted in the National Program for the Integration of Professional Education with Basic Education in the Youth and Adult Education modality, Proeja, offered by the Federal Institute of Mato Grosso do Sul - IFMS, correlates with the pillars of sustainability (social, economic and environmental), integrating general training and professional education. Methodologically, an exploratory and descriptive approach was carried out with the surveys of the curricular matrices and their respective educational plans, being these of secondary source, purely qualitative. It was concluded that the IFMS Proeja is directed towards a modality that effectively helps in the search for sustainability, with a view to social, professional and economic inclusion. Within this context, Environmental Education analyzed in this article is defined by the perspective focused, in fact, on the composition and work of citizenship.
