Constituting one of most dynamic sectors within the metropolitan region, Santiago's urban fringe is relevant from social, demographic and territorial standpoints. Small land subdivisions used for recreational or residential purposes, individual housing units, condominiums, and social housing supported by the central state apparatus, contribute all to shape this particular urban landscape. Taking studies conducted recently in the Municipalities of Pirque, Calera de Tango, Padre Hurtado and Lampa I offer an interpretation of the geographic configuration of this newly constructed space.

This paper analyzes the pronouncement on indirectexpropriation in the original investment models of theLatin American region up to the present. However, theseelaborations have not always reflected an appropriateformulation and over time they have been perfecteduntil today in which, as of the new century moreadvanced Models are verified worldwide in whichthe definition of indirect expropriation included, theassumptions for its configuration and other elements. In this sense, the method used has consisted in thestudy of the Expropriation clause of the models andtheir comparison with the one established in the mostadvanced in the area and the world, verifying that theLatin American region with the presence of Modelssince 1980s doesn’t represent a particular reference, except for Colombia and Brazil which from each of theirperspectives in the 21st Century join the most innovativeModels in the internationally in this issue. Such situationshows the need to develop and have Latin AmericanModels adjusted to the realities and experiences ofthe countries about indirect expropriation, whichfrom their own, authentic approach and protectionof their interests create a base document before thenegotiations of the Investment Agreements of LatinAmerica with diverse counterparties.

In Peruvian legislation, the subject benefited from theeffective collaboration agreement can assume theobligation to pay civil damages for the damages arisingfrom the crime for which he accepted responsibility. However, how to guarantee compliance with theaforementioned payment; In this regard, the objectiveof this study is to substantiate the need for an assetinvestigation by the Public Ministry of Peru, in orderto locate the collaborator’s assets that can be legallyseized, and in case of non-compliance with the paymentof compensation, proceed to his forced execution. Toachieve the objective, we have used the hermeneuticmethod in relation to the legal rules that in the Peruvianlegislation regulate the special criminal process ofeffective collaboration, which includes the study of theeconomic insolvency caused by the collaborator and itsconsequence of revoking, by court order, the benefitsobtained with the effective collaboration agreement. The conclusion, on the other hand, revolves aroundthe fact that the Peruvian prosecutor’s office carriesout a patrimonial investigation around the assetsof the effective collaborator in order to achieve thenormative task that repairs the damage for the crimewhose responsibility the collaborator accepted and wascorroborated in terms of law.

This article is part of the study of the International Coordination Instruments of the Social Security systems in force in the European and American context. For this purpose, the research will be based on a comparative methodology of the European Union Regulations - Regulation 883/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Coordination of Social Security Systems, and its Application Regulation 987/2009 - Contrasting them with the Ibero-American Agreement on Social Security and its respective Application Agreement. The objective of this study is to deepen their knowledge to reveal the aspects in which they coincide and the points in which they differ, analyzing their similarities and differences. For this, a selection of relevant criteria has been chosen that will be analyzed in order to draft both regulatory bodies. Finally, the results of this study will demonstrate the importance of articulating integrating mechanisms to guarantee respect for the rights of migrant workers and their families, regardless of the country in which they have worked.

The World Health Organization defines health as a state of well-being that allows to face stress, work productively and contribute to the community; but annually it reports high affectation to health in the workplace. The objective of the study is to describe the relationship between decent work indicators, social defeat and suicide in the Colombian population. The results indicate that a large part of the participants has access to education, employment, social security, high perception of opportunities, contribution to society, possibility of improvement in quality of life, low perception of social defeat and risk of suicide. However, few have an indefinite term contract, time for sports or recreational activities, consider insufficient wages for quality of life, have no space for dialogue on working conditions, and have been victims or witnesses of mobbing. There was a relationship between social defeat and suicide with work or academic situation, insufficient salary for quality of life, not having space for dialogue and discussion of conditions and work activities, and having been a victim or witness of mobbing or other situation of labor abuse.

The main objective of this documentary research work is to address the figure of decent work promoted by the International Labor Organization, which implies effective legal protection for the exercise of labor rights, social protection and social dialogue, from the salary conditions they have university teachers in Venezuela, which represent figures that place them as the lowest paid workers in the American continent, below the threshold of extreme poverty according to the income indicators kept by the United Nations Organization and the World Bank, conditions that promote the retirement and massive emigration of university professors, or the assumption of university teaching work as a voluntary or unpaid job, operating expenses must be subsidized with the worker’s own resources. The descriptive-level documentary design was used, concluding that the general salary and working conditions of university teaching staff in the public sector are totally far from what could be considered decent by the ILO, and that the union struggle to face said precariousness it must assume the national and international collective union conscience.
