Resumen
The construction of sustainable rural development in the brazilian Semiarid region poses the major challenge of adopting a concept of coexistence with the region. In view of this, the article investigated agroecological Family Agroforestry Systems in the context of the environment, farming families and society, in order to identify their strategic role in building this development in the rural environment of the Sertão do Pajeú micro-region in Pernambuco. Based on the research techniques of Fieldwork and Participatory Research associated with the applied scientific method, elements were revealed that made it possible to conclude that this construction involves a change in the production model and that the agroecological SAF presents itself as a sustainable technology that proves that it is possible to produce diversified food associated with the balanced use of natural resources and as a viable technology to reverse and reduce the majority of environmental problems within the production unit, revealing itself as an undeniable strategy to lead to sustainable rural development.

Resumen
The expansion of demand for pork, both in domestic and international markets, has boosted pork production in Brazil and the state of Paraná in recent years, making this activity important for the development of several regions. In this context, the aim of this article is to identify the socioeconomic and productive characteristics of municipalities specialized in commercial pig farming in Paraná. To this end, 30 variables collected by the 2017 Agricultural Census were extracted, covering all 399 municipalities in the state. The data were analyzed using the Location Quotient (LQ), Principal Component Analysis (PCA), and Cluster Analysis. The analysis identified 57 municipalities specialized in commercial pig production, located in eight mesoregions of the state. The Principal Component Analysis allowed the reduction of variables into two components, which together explained 66.45% of the total variance. Four productive clusters were identified; clusters 1 and 3 share the common characteristic of grouping municipalities where producers have high access to financing and are mostly members of cooperatives. However, the two groups differ regarding the importance of family farming in the activity.

Resumen
In Brazil, soybean production has been rapidly expanding, increasingly concentrated among medium and large rural producers. In family farming, this cultivation has been marked, on one hand, by movements towards professionalization and productive specialization, or on the other hand, by dynamics of exclusion and exit from the activity. Despite these two predominant trajectories, this research focuses on contexts where soybeans take different paths within family farming. Thus, the objective of this study is to analyze the dynamics and distinct roles of soybean production in the social reproduction strategies of family farmers, specifically looking at small-scale soybean growers who have continued cultivating soybeans on areas smaller than ten hectares over time. For this purpose, bibliographic research and secondary data analysis were conducted, in addition to field research in Salvador das Missões (RS) in 2003 and 2018, where seven farming families were selected for continuing small-scale soybean cultivation during both periods analyzed. The results show that among the families studied, soybean production has remained present as part of a mosaic of multiple and interconnected activities and income sources. In these cases, soybeans did not necessarily promote a process of specialization or depeasantization, being part of a broader set of different social reproduction strategies for family farmers.
Keywors: family farming; productive specialization; soybeans; Rio Grande do Sul.

Resumen
The unbridled exploitation of the environment and the inadequate disposal of solid waste imply social damage. The objective was to analyze the socioeconomic and environmental profile of the Collectors of the Association and Cooperative in dialogue with the principles of the Solidarity Economy and the data presented by the Institute of Applied Economic Research - IPEA (2013) and the National Movement of Recyclable Material Collectors - MNCR (2021). This is a qualitative descriptive, bibliographic, documentary research with comparative and content analysis. The results indicate that the Recyclable Material Production Cooperative of Tangará da Serra/MT stands out in gender, since most of the cooperative members declare themselves to be female when compared to the data from IPEA and MNRC, another relevance is in labor relations. While in the Association of Recyclable Material Collectors of Cáceres the reality is the opposite. However, incubation based on the principles of the Solidarity Economy is important in the process of socio-productive inclusion.

Resumen
For decades, many policies for the tourism sector have been developed in Brazil. Among some particularities, the focus of many of them was on developing the sector regionally. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the tourism sector in the Vales do Iguaçu Tourist Region, located in the state of Paraná, considering its locational, structural and spatial dynamics, during the period between 2012 and 2021. Therefore, the procedure methodological approach was based on regional analysis indicators. In general, the results obtained demonstrated that, after a period of ten years, the sector in the region analyzed continued to be concentrated in a few municipalities, thus not being noticed any effects of boost, spillover to neighboring municipalities or even connection between the activities analyzed. In practice, the results can help local decision-makers and other interested parties to first gain knowledge about the scenario and, therefore, act more assertively when it comes to planning and expanding the tourism sector in the region in the coming years.

Resumen
Construction contributes to regional development, and proper cost management directly impacts territorial infrastructure and economic sustainability. In this context, the objective is to analyze the costs of shared labor in a company in the construction sector in the city of Foz do Iguaçu-PR. This is a case study in which the data was obtained from financial reports provided by the company. Tabulating the data allowed the results of comparative calculations involving time, activity and labor spent between the categories of workers involved in construction to be obtained. There was a significant variation in labor costs on sites where workers were shared. The study identified that deviations not foreseen in projects and budgets, such as the simultaneous allocation of labor to multiple works, make it difficult to calculate costs and compromise economic results.

Resumen
The study investigates the perception of farmers from Mogi das Cruzes, Biritiba Mirim, and Salesópolis regarding the adoption of Agroforestry Systems (AFS) with native species of the Atlantic Forest, using the Theory of Planned Behavior. The Atlantic Forest, which concentrates a large portion of Brazil's population and GDP, is a biodiversity hotspot threatened by anthropogenic pressure, with the Green Belt in the Alto Tietê Region (SP) being essential for water capture and agricultural activity. Despite challenges such as a lack of resources and low perceived control, over 50% of the farmers demonstrate a high intention (mean 4.0; mode 5) to adopt or improve AFS. Farmers hold a positive attitude toward the environmental benefits and the enhancement of local products, although they identify challenges regarding profitability. The influence of family and friends, the sense of moral obligation, identification as rural producers, and both economic and ecological motivations reinforce this disposition, highlighting the need for integrated public policies that promote incentives, training, and access to resources for environmental sustainability and socioeconomic development.

Resumen
Nearly a decade after the establishment of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda, its implementation remains uneven, particularly at the local level, and is still partially unknown among public managers, institutions, and civil society, even within the state of Santa Catarina. In this context, the objective of this study was to group the municipalities of Santa Catarina through cluster analysis, based on their performance in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations. The analysis employed Ward’s hierarchical clustering method, resulting in the formation of six relatively homogeneous clusters. An examination of the most densely populated clusters revealed significant variation in municipal scores, which prompted a qualitative deepening focused on SDG 11-Sustainable Cities and Communities. The findings contribute to the identification of patterns and discrepancies in municipal performance, offering support for strategic decision-making, including investment planning and the formulation of more effective and targeted public policies aimed at sustainability. A key limitation lies in the analysis being restricted to only two clusters and the exclusive focus on SDG 11. Furthermore, the study highlights that the adoption of nationally standardized indicators does not always align with the realities of small municipalities, thereby compromising the accuracy of measurements. Although Santa Catarina demonstrates overall progress toward the 2030 Agenda goals, significant challenges remain regarding the adequacy of indicators to local contexts and the capacity of small municipalities to effectively measure and implement actions toward sustainable development.

Resumen
This study aims to analyze the constraints on the production value of temporary tasks in family farming in the Nordeste, with a breakdown between the semi-arid and non-semi-arid regions in the years 2006 and 2017. The data used comes from the Agricultural Censuses of 2006 and 2017, made available by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). To achieve the proposed objective, the multiple regression methodology was used with panel data, where the production value of temporary family farming tasks was used as the dependent variable. Explanatory variables included employed personnel, harvested area, dummies related to the intensity of technical guidance, crop guidance, presence of cooperatives and location of municipalities in semi-arid regions or not. The random effects model was the one that best fit the data. The results for the Nordeste, in general, indicated that all coefficients were statistically significant at the 1% level, with the exception of the dummy referring to the presence of cooperatives, which did not present statistical significance. Not with regard to semi-arid and non-semi-arid regions, the variables that developed the most positively for the value of production were the harvested area and crop rotations. Furthermore, crop rotation had a more significant impact on the value of production than technical assistance, both in the Nordeste as a whole and in the semi-arid region. Finally, the non-semi-arid region stood out as the most suitable northeastern location for adding value to the production of temporary tasks within the typology considered. The findings provide support for the formulation of more effective public policies aimed at valuing family farming by encouraging productive diversification and expanding cultivated areas based on sustainable practices.

Resumen
This article analyzes the spatial transformations in employment within the Manufacturing Industry in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo (RMSP) between 1990 and 2022. Using RAIS data for all 645 municipalities in the state of São Paulo, indicators of employment evolution and concentration were developed, alongside an Exploratory Spatial Data Analysis (ESDA), including maps by employment range and by industrial clusters (LISA). The results show a progressive reduction in both the absolute number and relative share of industrial employment in the RMSP, indicating a clear process of industrial deconcentration at multiple scales. A decrease in employment concentration across municipalities was also observed, with a noticeable shift of industrial clusters toward the interior of the state, particularly along the São Paulo-Campinas axis. Although more limited, the study also identified an interiorization of industrial activity toward more remote regions, usually located near major highways, suggesting a non-random and spatially selective pattern of deconcentration. These findings reinforce the hypothesis of a “concentrated deconcentration” of São Paulo’s industry and contribute to the debate on the territorial impacts of recent transformations in Brazil’s industrial sector.
Keywords: deconcentrating; manufacturing industry; exploratory spatial data analysis (esda); metropolitan region of São Paulo.
