Resumen
This essay reflects on the documentary regarded like kind of the movie art. It propose a definition of this genre correlated with the other two cardinal genres (the movies of fiction and the movies of animation): His common and analogous factors as well as his differences. Also it examine similarities and differences in the various uses, institutions and values of the documentary record −cinema art, journalism and didactics− and manifestations as the false documentary, without forgetting the movies of animation that reconstruct facts and truthful memoirs, often confused falsely with the documentary movies (the genres cannot be defined by veracity or falseness of the theme but of his modes of doing). It all intertwines in a esthetic conceptual system, of the theory of the art (plays, novels, painting…) and particularly of the cinema.

Resumen
This text aims to establish meaningful relationships between Escritos corsarios (1975) and “sketches and notes for a novel”, published posthumously in 1992 under the title of Petróleo. As an intellectual committed to a leftist thought, but also as a poet, filmmaker and creator, Pasolini produced a political-critical textuality of resistance to the implementation of global capitalism. This position is reflected in his manifold writing (poetry, essays, fiction and drama) with which he writes Petróleo. This novel elaborates aesthetically political imagination and cultural thought. This text plots languages of this writing to configure the significance of Pasolini as an intellectual and committed artist.

Resumen
The paper identifies and aesthetically analyzes the iconic and argumentative recurring presence of the desert in Pier Paolo Pasolini’s films. As a place of exposure of the origins of human integrity and its testing, Pasolini’s desert is proposed as an ontological site. In this analysis, the poetry and prose of the italian artist contribute to define aesthetic forms and functions of the desert in his cinematography.

Resumen
Regarding the concepts of “intermediality” and “remediation”, this article wants to highlight and analyze the intermedial aesthetics in Pasolini´s work, especially some figures found in Teorema (book and film): the “anfibology” as modern versión of the Horacian formula ut pictura poiesis; the antiliterary form of the text; the “free indirect style” in literature and film; and on a thematic level of Teorema, the importance of arts and technical media as forms of mediation between bourgeois subjects and the world. On the other hand, these figures are articulated with Pasolini’s proposal of thinking cinema as “writing of reality” and they are part of his poetic-cinematographic and political-pedagogical project in search for the lost sacred in our neocapitalist societies.
