Resumen
This article analyzes the role and political propositions of Congressman Alberto Guerreiro Ramos (1915-1982) in the critical juncture preceding the civil-military coup of 1964. The research is referenced in speeches made by the representative between August 1963 and April 1964 and proposes the study of the main topics contained in these pronouncements. Three aspects are highlighted in the text: its restructuring project of the Brazilian Labor Party, of which he was an important member; his views in defense of democratic socialism; and his external criticism of the right wings and the Brazilian Communist Party (PCB). In the final considerations, a brief analysis about the political and intellectual legacy of Alberto Guerreiro Ramos is presented.

This article analyzes the sociological studies of Guerreiro Ramos on race relations in Brazil during his activism in the Black Experimental Theater and on the occasion of his criticism of the UNESCO studies, especially discussions with sociologists Luiz de Aguiar Costa Pinto and Roger Bastide, when had become an intellectual linked to the Brazilian Institute of Social and Political Studies (IBESP), ISEB in the future. The sociological works of Guerreiro Ramos not only shows the intellectual environment, scientific work standards in the field of Sociology, but also reveals the impact of these investigations on the practice of Social Sciences in Brazil. The controversies revealed the process of the institutionalization of Social Sciences, marked by disputes about the way this process should take in a country undergoing a rapid social change.

Resumen
This essay seeks to grasp, by thinking through Alberto Guerreiro Ramos’ “historical culture”, the concept of “universal human community”. It aims to contribute to the culture of human rights, especially when it comes to thinking of public management as a way to leverage substantive democracy and republican governance. Therefore, for a reflection on the “concept of universal human community”, we realize the need to address the issue from three comparative dimensions that, according to our viewpoint, go through Guerreiro Ramos’ sociological work: nationality and universal human; human management and working world; and, not least important, social science and associated human life.

In this paper, we propose an interpretation of the term reason according to Guerreiro Ramos, particularly in his latest book, The new science of organizations. Through this reflection, we intend to clarify some aspects he has not made properly clear, thus providing an interpretive approach to his ideas.

Resumen
This article aims to relate the concept of sustainable innovative organization to the concept of organizational resilience. To do this, a study was carried out at the human resources department of EBE S.A., a Brazilian energy company. This paper conducts a theoretical review of the concepts of resource-based vision, core competencies, dynamic capabilities, strategic human resources management, learning organization, organizational resilience, sustainable innovative organization, and, finally, it identifies which are the human resources management practices of EBE S.A. that contribute to make the company a Resilient Sustainable Innovative Organization.
