Resumen
In the Chilean debate on the Law of Equal Marriage, the demands of those seeking its approval encountered strong opposition from different Christian congregations, whose protests, in turn, were based on arguments such as the right to freedom of opinion and belief. Following these discussions, this article analyzes the representations of homosexuality by a group of Catholic and evangelical leaders. The study was of an interpretative type and was carried out through a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with 10 Christian leaders of the Araucanía Region. Results show that the foundations giving meaning to the positions of Christian leaders on homosexuality refer to two distinct but closely related dimensions: 1) the importance of certain interpretations of the sacred scriptures (the Bible), tradition, and the Magisterium as epistemological and ontological foundations of meaning about reality; and 2) the reconstruction of Christian identities from specific accommodations to the s

Resumen
Poverty’s causal attributions are the subjective factors that explain why people perceive poverty exist. They allow us to understand the reproduction and legitimization of inequalities to underlying attitudes and responses towards poverty. The latter includes accepting or rejecting redistributive policies, meritorious representations, and blame for individuals’ socioeconomic outcomes (Jaramillo-Molina, 2019). This study explores the relationships between religious beliefs and causal attributions of poverty through a logistic regression analysis while considering Mexico’s high religious population and the critical value structure in individuals’ worldviews (Zalpa & Offerdal, 2008). The results indicate that certain beliefs, such as providentialism or traditionalism, affect causal attributions of poverty differently. The latter complicates the relationship between poverty, inequality, and religion while shedding light on devotees’ participation and integration in the fight to reduce poverty and inequality.

Resumen
Latin America has undergone substantial changes in the main components of its historical-cultural matrix, on which rests part of its capacity to hold its societies together (Sorj and Martuccelli, 2008; Tironi, 2008). The religious landscape, moving from a monopoly of Catholicism to pluralistic dynamics, constitutes one of these profound changes. Although this process developed gradually throughout the 20th century, during the last two decades it has become more dynamic, changing the religious landscape in the countries of the region (PEW, 2014), although with significant differences among them (Somma, Bargsted and Valenzuela, 2017). This transformation may imply an erosion of the beliefs and ties on which cohesion is based, but at the same time it may energize civil society and political participation, integrating new sectors of the population and incorporating plurality (Parker, 2016; Boas, 2019). This article proposes a broad research agenda around the impact that the change in the Latin American religious matrix has on the different dimensions of social cohesion, highlighting the multidimensionality and the relationship between different levels of analysis.

Resumen
The presence of Muslims in the public space of Chile is not a sufficiently well-known issue. Prejudices and phobias, which can be explained by geopolitical reasons, make many Muslims decide to live modestly, without attracting attention. As conversion processes advance and migratory processes increase, Islam in Chile will be a reality hard to ignore. From a subject centered approach, typical of the new anthropologies of Islam, the purpose of this article is to understand Muslims living in Chile, learn about their experiences, subjectivities, and daily life in a society that knows little about them.

Resumen
This article addresses some preliminary findings on the impact that sexual abuse suffered in an ecclesial context had on the youth of some interviewees. The concept of «Stolen youths» presents, on the one hand, the reality of violence experienced by the interviewees and, on the other hand, the usurpation dimension of their youth as they are subjected to abusive relational and doctrinal structures. Two dimensions of sexual abuse are addressed. The first of them deepens the abusive relational dynamics that the perpetrator installs with his victims from a hierarchy of institutional power. The second dimension, on the other hand, reflects the impact of this abusive link on the construction and meaning of youth of the interviewees.

Objective. To determine the impact of COVID-19 confinement on the family climate of Huancayo adolescents.Methods. The research was basic, quantitative, correlational, non-experimental cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 246 secondary school students from the Santa Rosa de Ocopa Educational Institution in the province of Concepción, Junín. The instruments used were the Moos family social climate scale and the validated and structured confinement questionnaire for its application. Results. There is a significant correlation rho =.531* betweenconfinement and family social climate. Eighty-five percent stated that their family had to make restrictions at theeconomic level because they were affected, 62% stated that they did not manage to understand classes virtually, 94% responded that they entertained themselves by playing online with their friends. At the level of relationship, development and stability was reported at an average level with respect to their family climate. Conclusions. The confinement had a significant impact on the family climate because they had to make economic restrictions due to the loss of their parents jobs. A large percentage stated that the virtual classes were not comprehensible. By not sharing activities in a face-to-face manner to which they are accustomed at this stage of their lives, adolescents express frustration, boredom and their escape was to play online games, creating addiction; which generated anxiety and problems in their emotional health.
