Resumen
1993 was the centenary celebration of the death of writer, journalist and politician Carmel Navarro Llombart, more commonly known by his pseudonym Constantí Llombart. The speech by Vicent Ventura at the celebration organized by the University of Valencia takes a look at the highlights in the life of Llombart and his statements in favor of recuperating Catalan language and culture, in opposition to the groups that would ultimately dominate during the Renaixença in the Valencian Country.

In several of Salvador's writings –Qüestions de llenguatge (1936), El valencia a les escoles (1935) and reviews of various texts by Delfí Dalmau (1936)– Solé recovers ideas and concepts taken up in current sociolinguistic discourse, for example, linguistic substitution, monolingualism in primary school curriculum, and the effects of passive polyglotism.

From 1915 to the postwar years, Caries Salvador wrote over a dozen plays, some of which were left unpublished, and others which were never brought to the stage. Comedies, comic interludes and a miracle story about Saint Vicent make up this group of texts. Roselló analyzes them in detail.

The essay's main purpose is to eradicate the topic that the Blaquerna is in fact Llull’s autobiography and that the LAA reflects in a direct way R. Llull's mystical experience. While the LAA fits perfectly the general structure of the Blaquerna and could very well nave originally been conceived as a part of this novel, the evidence so far available seems to indicate that the LAA never existed as an independent text.

The text edited is an extant fragment, copied by the end of the XIVc and now kept in the Library of the monastery of Montserrat, of a medieval Cançoner written in the occitan-catalan language normally used by Catalan poets of the period. This rare sample shows the transference to poems written in the vernacular, of the symbolism related to the Cross, otherwise characteristic of Latin medieval hymnology. The author traces some parallellism with a poem by Peire Cardenal.

This article scans Pedrolo's dramatic oeuvre starting from the comparative analysis of story-line and thematic aspects, characters, space and time. The final ambition is to emphasize the fact that three periods may be defined: early theatrical experiments (1954-1956), central production (1957-1963) and the last plays (1966-1977), that respond to different theatrical models.
