Resumen
Stories written in French about travels to Spain in the 19th century that include pious visits to Compostela are very scarce. Only four of them have been discovered to date. They were written at the end of the 19th century. The analysis of the peregrination to Compostela has been the starting point that has led to the discovery of the same ideological tenets the authors of the above mentioned five works share. All of them express a very conservative point of view with regard to religious believes, politics, culture, economy, and even literature. The representation of lived experiences and the description of the places visited in Spain (not only in Galicia) are accompanied by sorrowful reflections (such as the criticism of the bad situation of Catholicism and the clergy throughout the Third Republic in France) or by excited and belligerent declarations in defense of the faith (like the praise for the Catholic confession in Spain). Therefore, it can be concluded that these writers are not mere travellers-pilgrims. They are also reactionary witnesses of their times.

Resumen
This article carries out a comparative analysis of the characters of Emma Bovary and Ana Ozores considering the assumptions of thematic criticism. The way that certain cosmological and material elements are regarded as real, brings about a set of recurrent images that acquire symbolical dimension. These images, which are the visible representation of the psycho- sensory level of the text, may relate, therefore, to the specific individual dimension of the way of perceiving and constructing a daydream vision of the real world in the act of writing. However, certain parallelisms can be established in the writings of both, Flaubert and Clarín.

Resumen
This article makes a contribution to the history of scientific and technical translation within the domain of Enology. From the second part of the 18th century, the number of scientific and technical publications on the growing of grapes and vinification increased notably in France. L’Art de faire le vin, by Chaptal, together with other treaties such as those by the abbé Rozier, Le Gentil, or Maupain, constitute the starting point for Enology to become a science. This article will try to explain how the new agronomic and enological knowledge reached Spain by means of translation. A corpus of translations dated between 1750 and 1850 has been compiled in order to study the texts, translators, languages, and translation poetics involved. It will demonstrated that translators are faithful not to texts but to science instead.

Resumen
This paper aims to unravel the impact of Francoist censorship in the translation into Spanish of Émile Zola’s La Faute de l’abbé Mouret. The novel was published in 1967, immediately after the Press Law of 1966, a time at which the coercive measures adopted certainly encouraged self-censorship by translators, but also by publishers. The analysis reveals that Zola’s La Faute de l’abbé Mouret was submitted to internal censorship and was published with a number of suppressions and substitutions which did not only transform the novel but also created a discourse favorable to Franco’s interests.

Resumen
Because of the financial crisis, Morocco has evolved into a good candidate for Spanish investments. For the creation of companies with limited responsibility, the Moroccan authorities require the company’s articles of association (part of the company’s memorandum) to be translated from Spanish to French, which is the language used for business in Morocco. This article presents a descriptive and contrastive study of these documents in the Spanish and Moroccan cultures from a translational standpoint.

Resumen
This paper addresses the first translation into Galician of Le Petit Prince by Saint-Exupéry (O Principiño, 1972). The novelty of our study is derived from having handled the manuscript version of the translation. In this paper, we provide a documentary analysis on the reasons that led to translate this work, but also on the translator behavior, the strategy and the procedures used in the transfer. We start from the assumption that the translator has to intervene to a greater extent in children’s texts than in a text for adults and we want to confirm if such intervention has occurred in accordance with translation standards of the time.

Resumen
In the 1960s, the French artistic and intellectual avant garde showed a renewed interest for Stéphane Mallarmé, as illustrated by the debates published in the magazine Tel Quel, especially between 1967 and 1969. This article makes an overview of these controversies: Why this renewed interest in Mallarmé? How did the new reading of his work depart from Sartre's? What were the, often irreconcilable, positions of the magazine’s contributors with regard to his figure? This account will ultimately be aimed at understanding the «Mallarmé question», as it was defined by Tel Quel’s founding member Philippe Sollers, in its specific historical context.
