Resumen
This paper analyzes the relation between the so-called “conceptual revolution” of the left that promoted a group of argentine intellectuals exiled in Mexico (1974-1983) and the epistemic reformulation that occurred at the time in thinking about communication. We will analyze the journals Controversia (1979-1981) and Comunicación y cultura in its second mexican stage (1982-1985).

Resumen
The human communication is integrated by social phenomena, not yet characterized at all, therefore there isn’t an agreement identifying its problem or aim of study. This work presents a review of the concept of communication from the Soft Systems Methodology obtaining an holistic vision of the communicative phenomena. We conclude suggesting a quantitative Semiotics proposal to characterize the plural communicative events and its qualities.

Drawings made by students on classroom desks, assigned to groups of Communication Sciences at the Universidad de Occidente in Culiacan, are analyzed in this paper. A sample of figures and compositions that refer to objects, people or concepts was chosen. The concepts of culture, organizational culture, symbol, graffiti, iconic object and semiotic function were used to problematize and analyze drawings. Categories and inferences show a particular reality that students deal with in Sinaloa.

Resumen
It is proposed an exploratory study which examines the new online film distribution systems in Spain (iptv, Smart tv and content portals) and the changes in the roles of the different sectors involved in the marketing. It will be shown that this is a model which seeks to adapt to the demand, increasingly diverse, of the spectator-user, which is still under construction.

This text begins with a brief narration relative to the creation of different postgraduate programs by the Department of Information and Communication (dic) at Laval University (Québec, Canada) in the 1980’s and more recently. It illustrates mainly the adoption of the label “public communication” to name (and unite) the activities of three different groups of teachers-investigators: those who taught journalism, those you focused on the professional activity of public relations and third, the academics devoted to the critic of the mass media.
