This article´s intention is to describe and clasify the control strategies of the state government of Veracruz, over the information on violence. Veracruz has been defined by International Journalists Associations as the most dangerous place for journalists, and where one of the most authoritarian subnational regimes in Mexico is still in office.

Resumen
Although the categories of cultural industries and cultural consumption are useful resources in valuable research, they carry certain troubles. This text shows how its usage obstacles some research possibilities, and how giving them up may open new possibilities. Highlighting the “cultural” character of certain specific industries and forms of consumption obscures the cultural analysis of other industries and forms of consumption.

Resumen
This work examines one the most important legal conflicts related with censorship and Internet regulation. Originated in 2000, the Yahoo! Case represents a paradigmatic event, not only for the normative problem between two countries: United States and France, but it brings to debate the most problematic aspects of the protection of free expression in communication media. Viewing it from the legal aspect, The Yahoo! Case alerts about the possibility of extraterritorial judicial intromissions that sheltered under a doubtful justice, look to impose their moral values to the Internet users.

Resumen
This paper addresses a particular issue that requires further reflection and conceptual clarification, which is how best to assess entertainment-education interventions. A theoretical-methodological approach to the analysis of audience sense-making is proposed, suggesting new ways of evaluating how E-E interventions influence their audience. The proposed approach will be informed by a case study using the Brazilian soap opera “A Rainha do Sucata” (“The rubbish queen”).

Resumen
This article contextualize and analyze the model of construction of journalistic identity in France, a model whose management of the space and the professional relations has been fluid and deeply pragmatic and to which the author denominates professionalisme du flou. The work also gives account of the plurality of speeches around the continuous process of construction and transformation of the identity of the professional group of journalists, and confronts the univocal and essentialist glance of journalism defended by the group, with a perspective that considers journalism as a “social practice”, one that is co-constructed by actors interconnected in the heart of an extended public space.
