This paper presents the interpretation of the results of an online poll of young people between 14 and 18 years of baccalaureate schools in the city Quito, Ecuador. The research investigates the media skills of young people in their relationship with social Internet networks. This is to compare the use from time, inclinations, interests and expectations of this age sector.

This article describes and analyzes the metadata defined by the information management team of Spanish regional TV broadcaster Canal Extremadura Televisión, as used in their documentation management system. The presented metadata covers both news as well as entertainment broadcasts. The article also offers a brief introduction to the metadata problem space, including the most important Spanish-language authors in this area - as well as an analysis of the documentation management system of Canal Extremadura Televisión, including its history.

El presente trabajo supone la versión en español de la Conferencia que su autor presentó en la 13 Sesión Internacional para directores de Academias Olímpicas Nacionales celebrada a inicios del mes de mayo del presente año en la Sede de la AOI en Olimpia (Grecia), invitado especialmente por los organizadores del citado evento. Si bien su contenido está publicado por la AOI en los idiomas olímpicos, la versión en español que aquí se presenta pretende ser la difusión de su contenido entre la comunidad hispanohablante.Su contenido ofrece una descripción y reflexión sobre el impacto y el rol que ha cumplido y cumple la Academia Olímpica Internacional. Partiendo de sus antecedentes en la Grecia antigua, la AOI, heredera de la casta de los nomofilakos a la que hacía referencia su cofundador el Profesor Carl Diem, supone hoy día el indiscutible foco mundial del olimpismo. Este trabajo supone una somera revisión de los cincuenta y cuatro años del laborar de la institución, centrándose especialmente en los hitos históricos y en los logros de la AOI, como el hecho de haber supuesto la implantación de un sistema de trabajo y actuación, que ha servido de pauta de acción a las Academias Olímpicas Nacionales en la difusión y defensa del ideario olímpico entre la población de todos los países del mundo. Ha realizado y sigue desempeñando una  función pedagógico-deportiva inicialmente dirigida a jóvenes estudiantes que se ha ido extendiendo a amplios sectores varios de la cultura y deporte.Palabras clave: Academia Olímpica Internacional, Ideario olímpico, olimpismo, Movimiento Olímpico. THE ROLE OF THE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC ACADEMY IN THE SPREAD OF OLYMPIC IDEALAbstract:This work includes the Spanish version of the lecture presented by the author at the 13th International Session for Directors of National Olympic Academies held in May of 2015 at the Headquarters of the IOA in Olympia (Greece). While its contents are posted by the AOI in the official Olympic languages, the Spanish version presented here is intended as the promotion of items to the Spanish-speaking community.        This lecture provides a description and reflection on the impact and the role played by the International Olympic Academy. Starting from its origins in ancient Greece, the IOA, heir to the caste of nomofilakos to which its co-founder Professor Carl Diem refers, is today the undisputed world focus of Olympism. This work is a brief review of the fifty-four-year labor of the institution, especially focusing on the historic milestones and achievements of the IOA, like the implementation of a system of work and performance, which served as a model for the National Olympic Academies for the promotion and defense of the Olympic ideals among the population of all countries of the world. The IOA played and continues to play a sport pedagogical function. El piragüismo español empezó a destacar a nivel internacional en la década de los setenta. El presente trabajo supone, a través de la trayectoria del deportista asturiano Herminio Menéndez Rodríguez, un rescate de las circunstancias de la génesis de este deporte en España y un acercamiento a los triunfos y las especiales circunstancias de la historia olímpica del piragüismo español. Él supuso el hito de la participación en cuatro ediciones de los Juegos Olímpicos: Múnich, 1972, Montreal, 1976, Moscú, 1980 y los Ángeles, 1984. Sus triunfos en dichos juegos y su exitosa trayectoria deportiva son aquí rescatados a fin de llevar a cabo un recuerdo que pretende ser también un pequeño homenaje a este gran deportista olímpico español.Palabras clave: Herminio Menéndez Rodríguez, Piragüismo, Juegos Olímpicos, Historia del Olimpismo español, Medallistas olímpicos españoles. SPANISH OLYMPIC KAYAKING HISTORY: HERMINIO MENÉNDEZ RODRÍGUEZAbstract:Spanish kayaking began to stand out at an international level in the 1970s. This research involves, through the career of the Asturian sportsman Herminio Menéndez Rodríguez, a collection of circumstances of the origin of this sport in Spain, and an approach to the triumphs and the special circumstances of the history of Spanish Olympic kayaking. He achieved the milestone of participation in five editions of the Olympic Games: Munich 1972, Montreal 1976, Moscow 1980 and Los Angeles, 1984. El texto que se presenta partió de una iniciativa de la UNESCO en el campo de la colaboración internacional y la Asamblea General del Consejo Internacional para la Educación Física y el Deporte lo aprobó en octubre de 1964. Con él la UNESCO se posicionó sobre el deporte, que como otros bienes culturales, se encontraba en crisis, en una encrucijada provocada, tanto por la enorme aceleración de su desarrollo y de su difusión universal, como por las interferencias ajenas a su propia naturaleza. Para estudiar aquellas circunstancias, un selecto grupo de expertos de todo el mundo se reunió con motivo de los XVIII Juegos Olímpicos de Tokio y elaboró este documento, que no pretendía ser un punto de llegada, sino de partida. Supuso una base positiva para la reflexión constructiva que el deporte necesitaba y pensamos que aún en la actualidad necesita. Se podrá estar de acuerdo parcial o totalmente, e incluso en desacuerdo, con los principios de su contenido, pero no se puede negar su condición de primera y valiosa contribución a la comprensión internacional, como lo prueba la diversidad de componentes del grupo que acometió la difícil tarea y que son citados al final del textoEl documento fue difundido por la Comisión de Legislación Deportiva del Consejo Internacional de Educación Física y Deportes de la UNESCO. Su texto fue traducido al español y publicado en 1966 por iniciativa de la Redacción de la primera etapa de la revista Citius, Altius, Fortius y ello se convirtió en la difusión de su contenido para la comunidad hispanohablante.  Este es el texto que hoy rescatamos por su gran valor histórico, que además ofrece unas reflexiones de profundo calado que tienen la mayor vigencia para los actuales especialistas del área de las CCAFyD. El documento contiene ciertas reflexiones sobre problemas ya enfrentados como “el amateurismo”,  que fue precisamente un problema que posteriormente fue afrontado y solventado con valentía por el único Presidente español del COI, Juan Antonio Samaranch. Sin embargo, este aspecto, ya superado, muestra especial interés para aquellos que deben conocer la historia de los retos que el deporte y el olimpismo ha tenido que superar, y a la vez pensamos que, al igual que en el momento de su elaboración, el documento sigue siendo de gran utilidad para la reflexión constructiva que el futuro del deporte sigue necesitando.Palabras clave: Deporte, Unesco, Juegos Olimpicos. Manifest about Sport. Sports Law Commission of the International Council of Physical Education and Sport of UNESCO.Abstract:The text here presented was created as part of an initiative of UNESCO in the field of international cooperation and the General Assembly of the International Council for Physical Education and Sport approved in October 1964. With this document UNESCO positioned itself in relation to sport that like other cultural goods was in crisis: at a crossroads caused by the enormous acceleration of its development, its universal diffusion and by other interferences outside their nature. To study the circumstances, a select group of experts from around the world gathered on the occasion of the XVIII Olympic Games in Tokyo and produced this document, which was not intended as starting point but an ending point. This was a positive basis for constructive reflection that the sport needed and we think still need today. You can agree or disagree with the principles of its contents, but there is no denying their status as first and valuable contribution to international understanding, as evidenced by the diversity of the group that undertook the difficult task and that are quoted at the end of the text.The document was broadcast by the Sports Law Commission of the International Council of Physical Education and Sport of UNESCO. The text was translated into Spanish and published in 1966 by initiative of the editors of the first stage of the journal Citius, Altius, Fortius and it became the dissemination of its content to the Hispanic community. This is the text that we reviewed today by its historical value, which also offers some profound reflections that have the greatest validity by today's specialists in the area of the Sciences of physical activity and sport. The document contains reflections on issues like "amateurism", a problem that was later bravely faced and solved by the only Spanish IOC President Juan Antonio Samaranch. However, this currently surpassed aspect, shows special concern for those who must know the history of the challenges that sport and Olympism had to overcome, and we think that, just as in the time of preparation the document is still very useful for much needed constructive reflection about the future of the sport.Key Words: Sport, UNESCO, Olympic Games

La idea de llevar a cabo este proyecto nació con motivo de la participación en la convocatoria de becas de la Academia Olímpica Internacional (AOI) para el 22º Seminario Internacional en Estudios Olímpicos para estudiantes de Posgrado. Tras la selección de los 35 beneficiarios, el seminario fue celebrado en septiembre de 2015, albergado en la sede de la IOA, en Olimpia, Grecia. Este trabajo será publicado por la IOA en inglés, uno de sus tres idiomas oficiales- siendo los otros el francés y el griego. La finalidad de este artículo es la difusión del proyecto mencionado entre la comunidad hispanohablante.En ese estudio se abordó la creación, funcionamiento y evolución de los Centros de Estudios Olímpicos, instituciones dependientes de la Academia Olímpica Española integradas en Universidades de todo el territorio español. Su creación tiene como principales objetivos divulgar y expandir el Movimiento Olímpico bajo la rigurosidad del marco de la Educación Superior, marco en el que nació el Olimpismo Moderno. Las actividades desarrolladas por estas instituciones junto con un aumento significativo del número de Centros creados han contribuido y contribuyen a la difusión de la Educación y Valores del Movimiento Olímpico, sirviendo como ejemplo para su implantación en otros estados.Palabras clave: Academia Olímpica Española, Academia Olímpica Internacional, Centro de Estudios Olímpicos, Comité Olímpico Español, Movimiento Olímpico. OLYMPIC STUDIES CENTRES AS PART OF THE STRUCTURE OF THE SPANISH OLYMPIC ACADEMY: AN INITIATIVE AND ALTERNATIVE FOR RENEWAL AND UPDATING THE OLYMPISM BY SPANISH UNIVERSITIES.Abstract: The premise for this study was born on account of the call for applications to participate in the 22nd International Seminar on Olympic Studies for Postgraduate Students, organised by the International Olympic Academy (IOA). Following selection of the 35 beneficiaries, the Seminar was held in September 2015 and hosted at the IOA headquarters, located in Olympia, Greece. This paper will be published by the IOA in English, one of its three official languages - the others being French and Greek. The purpose of this paper is to disseminate the aforementioned study among the Spanish-speaking community.In this study, the creation, operation and evolution of the Olympic Studies Centres is explored, as dependent institutions of the Spanish Olympic Academy, integrated into universities across the Spanish territory. The main objective of these Centres is to disseminate and expand the Olympic Movement, under the rigorous structure of the Higher Education framework in which the Modern Olympics was born. The activities of these institutions, accompanied by a significant increase in the number of Centres, have helped establish and contribute to the spread of Education and the values of the Olympic Movement, serving as an example for implementation in other countries.Keywords: International Olympic Academy, Olympic Movement, Olympic Studies Centre, Spanish Olympic Academy, Spanish Olympic Committee

In this paper, we specify a generic ontology for the process domain considering the related state-of-the-art research literature. As a result, the recently built process ontology contributes to enrich semantically the terms for the (previously developed) measurement and evaluation domain ontology by means of stereotypes. One of the underlying hypothesis in this research is that the generic ontology for process can be seen as a reusable artifact which can be used to enrich semantically not only the measurement and evaluation domain ontology but also to other domains involved in different organizational endeavors. For instance, for the measurement domain, now is explicit that the measurement term has the semantic of task, the measure term has the meaning of outcome, and the metric term has the semantic of method, from the process terminological base standpoint. The augmented conceptual framework, i.e. measurement and evaluation concepts plus process concepts, has also a positive impact on the GOCAME (Goal-Oriented Context-Aware Measurement and Evaluation) strategy capabilities since ensures terminological uniformity, consistency and verifiability to its process and method specifications. In order to illustrate how the augmented conceptual framework impacts on the verifiability of GOCAME process and method specifications in addition to the consistency and comparability of results in measurement and evaluation projects, an ICT (Information and Communications Technology) security and risk evaluation case study is used.

CONTEXT: Despite the possible lack of validity when compared with other science areas, Simulation-Based Studies (SBS) in Software Engineering (SE) have supported the achievement of some results in the field. However, as it happens with any other sort of experimental study, it is important to identify and deal with threats to validity aiming at increasing their strength and reinforcing results confidence. OBJECTIVE: To identify potential threats to SBS validity in SE and suggest ways to mitigate them. METHOD: To apply qualitative analysis in a dataset resulted from the aggregation of data from a quasi-systematic literature review combined with ad-hoc surveyed information regarding other science areas. RESULTS: The analysis of data extracted from 15 technical papers allowed the identification and classification of 28 different threats to validity concerned with SBS in SE according Cook and Campbell’s categories. Besides, 12 verification and validation procedures applicable to SBS were also analyzed and organized due to their ability to detect these threats to validity. These results were used to make available an improved set of guidelines regarding the planning and reporting of SBS in SE. CONCLUSIONS: Simulation based studies add different threats to validity when compared with traditional studies. They are not well observed and therefore, it is not easy to identify and mitigate all of them without explicit guidance, as the one depicted in this paper.

Mobile learning (m-learning) is a research field that aims to analyze how mobile devices can contribute to learning. The development of software for mobile devices to support learning is essential for an effective implementation of m-learning or mobile learning environments (MLE). Requirements Engineering processes need to include activities that provoke creativity in the stakeholders to conceive MLEs that actually modify and improve the teaching and learning process. In this context, this paper presents a process for requirements elicitation and documentation of mobile learning environments. This process is based on the concepts of the Design Thinking process that provides a methodology to elicit customer needs, producing simple prototypes that eventually converge to innovative solutions. An experiment was conducted to evaluate if the proposed process contributes to create MLEs that present distinctive and interesting characteristics when compared to existing solutions for a specific problem.
