The "normalization of violence" can only be interpreted as a negative phenomenon. This leads a society to consider it as "normal behavior” when it should be repudiated and totally disliked. The origins of the high homicide rates that we currently have in Honduras date back to the 1990s. As a country we can be better than we imagine, despite historical stains. We have the power to define the future with our desire and action to improve, for the good of our family and society.

In recent years, participants in the coffee sector have become aware of sustainability issues. A cup of coffee can convey various experiences to consumers. In turn, it comes with a story behind it that represents each producer. This leads to ask ourselves about the concept of sustainable coffee and producer and consumer perceptions.

Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and education have bolstered ties in recent decades, that we can no longer speak about education without technology. As we adapt to new learning conditions, we discover its advantages and the consideration we must bear when using new teaching-learning methodologies. Social networks were not initially considered within teaching-learning tools, but their advantages, interactivity, and appropriation of today's society have put them under the educators´ scrutiny. We explore an overview of ICT and how to adjust them to the educational field.

Fiscal sustainability needs to be implemented in Honduras. Tax collection will be much higher than in the past years. Tax impositions reduce the economy of most households in the country. Tax impact affects the consume. In the end, the State seeks to collect taxes without measuring the population´s consequences. On the other hand, it is necessary to identify and resolve tax evasion in the economic levels of our society.

Between the structural and conjunctural crises of the moment, added to a certain disdain on the part of the entire region, Central America commemorated during the last twelve months, the 200 years of political independence from the Kingdom of Spain. It was a propitious moment for retrospective and prospective analysis, to review the lessons learned, as well as the opportunities that are presented to the region in today's world.

Introduction. If the psychologist's task implies the knowledge of the other in order to help him, how necessary is the knowledge of oneself in order to achieve it. This study aim was to assess the experience of self-analysis as an exercise in self-knowledge in the training of psychologists. Methods. Life history is used for the construction of an autobiography by the informants, under informed consent. Both the self-analysis involved in the autobiographical account and the process of construction and socialization are analyzed from the systematization of experiences. Results. The self-analytical exercise implies a confrontation with the self where the configuration of the personality is closely related to this conflict and to the need to know oneself. The perspective provided by the training process in psychology dimensions this need for self-knowledge. Conclusion. Self-knowledge is a processual framework of understanding the person in which one's own existence is questioned. Both self-knowledge and the ways of accessing it are for the psychologist in training an essential knowledge that makes possible the management of intra-subjective processes necessary for the attention in different fields of application.

Introduction. The increasing demand for clean and sustainable electrical energy, which is likely to be supplied by photovoltaic energy, has the potential to accelerate the competition for land between energy and food production. Honduras has a low access to electricity of 85.22% and suffers from food insecurity throughout its territory, especially in the departments of the Dry Corridor. To reduce future competition between electricity generation and crop growth and improve the resilience of the Honduran population against the effects of climate change, agrivoltaics is proposed as a solution. The study aim was to calculate and model the agrovoltaic potential in Honduras. Methods. Crop and photovoltaic simulation models were used to calculate the Land Equivalent Ratio. Results. A LER of 124.92% was calculated for an agrivoltaic system of 1 hectare, using potatoes as the crop, in San Andrés, Lempira. Additionally, the LER for a generic C3 crop, based on a photosynthesis model, was calculated for the entirety of Honduras, which resulted in a range between 135.45% and 149.34%. Conclusion. The models indicate that Honduras possibly has a high potential for agrivoltaics.

Introduction. The results-based management model includes an approach of the five management cycle pillars. The study aim was to design a budgeting and planning model for public resources, to promote compliance with public policies in response to social and administrative needs. Methods. The study had a mixed research approach, in which the following instruments were used: questionnaire and in-depth interview. The study participants were 30 operational professionals and 5 informants section managers of the Municipality of La Ceiba. This allowed to collect information directly from the collaborators. Results. The municipality staff indicated that 39% (12/30) do not know if there is a relationship between the Annual Operating Plan and the National Plan and Country Vision, while 30% (9/30) and 26% (8/30), respectively, said they agreed and fully agreed that there is a relationship between both plans. Likewise, through the testimonial opinions collected, it was determined that the social needs in the city are not effectively addressed, arguing lack of budget on the part of the State. Conclusion. There is a need to design a proposal for results-based management, which includes attention to social needs and promotes the development of results-based budget, adaptable to the Municipality of La Ceiba.

The preliminary results of the underwater surveys undertaken in the surroundings of Isla de Adentro (Mazarrón, Murcia) between 2015 and 2020 are presented in this paper. The methodology has taken into account the dual nature –research and teaching– of the project, and has been based on intensive surveys and excavation at points of clear interest. The six campaigns carried out so far enhance the panorama of Phoenician colonization in this important spot on the Murcian coast: on the one hand, they confirm the intensive use of the place at the time of the well-known «Mazarrón shipwrecks», late 7th c. BC, but also show evidence of an earlier Phoenician presence and the use of the area as an anchorage. All this underscores the importance of Mazarrón and the Southeast of Iberia, halfway between the Straits –especially the area of Málaga– and Ibiza, in the Phoenician colonial system.
