The objective of the research is to develop a strategy aimed at modifying the behavior of the subjects, based on humanistic values and the historical sports culture of the profession. A population and random sample of 20 students were chosen. The study was carried out from October 2021 to June 2022. The fundamental background of the subject can be found in researchers such as Tedesco (2016); Aguiar, González and Ponce (2019). Based on its postulates, it has defined an analytical knowledge isolated from the educational context, however, it is necessary to update the traditional view from Physical Culture and sports. The research is directed to the existing need to address the teaching of physical activity from an educational perspective. It is necessary to consider objectives, contents, methodology, from a perspective far from performance sports, where the training and education of the person is abounded in a comprehensive and globalized manner in the psychological, motor, social and affective fields. The increase in social indiscipline and corruption is also manifested in educational centers through the inappropriate behavior of students and teachers, which has caused a strong call to the country's educational leadership. An opportunity to solve this issue could be considered through the teaching of Physical Culture. Important referents have alluded to the subject, contributing aspects on the promotion of values and methodologies to deal with it. However, it is vital to contextualize this knowledge from the training of students.

The subject of gerontological conceptions in subject programs on teacher training in Physical Education is addressed. Frames completed doctoral research. Consisting of a documentary-type work where 26 material programs are gathered. To carry out the analysis, a qualitative methodology of descriptive and interpretive design is adopted, whose results are not representative of the sample studied. With this approach, an exercise of reflection and analysis is carried out, based on the systematic reading of the components listed and that organize each of the programs. It should be noted that no works related to the specified theme of gerontological conceptions were found; much less for teacher training in Physical Education; which adds greater value to the investigation. Theoretical arguments of 21st century gerontology and critical Physical Education, examined these conceptions from the perspective of humanistic sciences and revealed that in the programs, a homogeneous conception of biomedical matrix predominates, about old age, aging and people. older and that subsumes a psycho-biological conception of a negative cut. To a lesser extent, a conception of positive psychology was identified that extols old age, aging and the elderly. Nuances that are only appreciated in some programs are also recovered and that allow us to consider their distinctive aspects to discuss and stress them. It is estimated that reflecting on this may have repercussions on new ways of understanding old age, aging and the elderly in teacher training in Physical Education.

The objective of this work is to make a critical analysis of the notions of the body through which Physical Education has passed (especially in the body for the training of Physical Education professionals); to confront their concern in social, cultural, political and academic fields; in contribution to a better conceptualization of the matter. Its application in the Physical Education teachers of the city of Santa Elena, in the Entre Ríos province; works on these notions of the body to unify ideas about pedagogical discourses in relation to bodily practices and the Physical Education class. The notions of body that will be addressed in the research are based on the idea of a dualistic body, separated into mind and body, where the mind is more relevant than the body and this was subordinated to the mind. On the other hand, the body materially seen (considered as an object), has gone through mechanistic, medical anatomical and functional perspectives; until reaching a plural body, endowed with multiple capacities and potentialities. The central problem of the research is the diversity of conceptualizations about the notions of body; its different links over time with Physical Education in the training of its professionals and how this affects the different professions and their classes. The methods used in the research are exploratory, bibliographic and ethnographic research on the topic addressed, with which different epistemological frameworks are put in tension, in confrontation with knowledge acquired in relation to different conceptualizations.

The diverse and complex characteristics of modern training in sports games demand from coaches and high precision in technical-tactical preparation. This component of the preparation should not be far from the internal logic of the game and the characteristics that identify each sport modality. In this regard, the new perspectives in the scientific research of sport have analyzed the different factors that influence motor learning and how it affects the performance of Beach Volleyball, projecting towards the search for solutions to the most specific problems of Sports Training. . The objective of this qualitative work of explanatory scope was to establish a specific methodological principle for technical-tactical training in Beach Volleyball, by taking into account current theoretical conceptions and their specific characteristics. The Analytical-synthetic, Inductive-Deductive, Hypothetical-deductive methods and the methodological workshop were used as a research technique. To understand the variables, a bibliographical review was developed on sports training principles, pedagogical principles, as well as on the Guiding Principle of Sustainable Sports Preparation and studies on structural and functional analyzes of Beach Volleyball. Assessments and reasoning about the content were carried out in a methodological workshop with coaches, which allowed establishing a specific principle as an essential guide in the concretion and development of the technical-tactical training of this modality. This result was validated by experts and contains in its essence, the structural characteristics of this sport, offered by the specialized literature and the pedagogical foundations of sports training.

The research explores the level of participation of families in school sports initiation, from the perspective of Popular Education. The idea of taking advantage of this pedagogical conception as theoretical support and practical orientation, is given by two fundamental reasons: contextualization of ideas of its main precursor, the Brazilian Paulo Freire. Due to his influence, this educator represents a precursor, who has an impact on Latin American pedagogy. Based on their experiences, an active participation of the actors involved is sought on the basis of dialogue. In second place is the usefulness that Popular Education acquires at this time in the Cuban context to be able to innovate traditionalist pedagogical styles that persist in the education of families. The result corresponds to an investigation, in progress, of the scientific project Improvement of the processes of initiation, selection and sports preparation, of the Faculty of Physical Culture, University of Sancti Spíritus "José Martí Pérez". It applies to families of athletics practitioners, between 10 and 12 years old, belonging to the "Julio Antonio Mella" sports team of the municipality of Sancti Spíritus. The information obtained by different applied scientific methods (observation, interview, analysis group, experiential workshop, document analysis) reveals a tendency towards a decrease in the participation of families and their passive nature in the initiation of school sports. Potentialities associated with motivation were also found that can be used to raise the level of participation of this socio-educational agency from the principles and techniques of Popular Education as an innovative option.

Physical recreation is a social phenomenon where man satisfies his recreational needs, in correspondence with social relationships. The Recreation program in sports teams needs changes based on knowledge, skills and giving due importance to the education of social actors to take advantage of the opportunities provided by the content itself. This research responds to the problem of a community related to the rescue of peasant traditions in the most intricate places of the Tercer Frente municipality. Its objective is to develop a set of recreational activities for the neighborhoods with the most difficult access, taking into account tastes and preferences during their free time, in the “South” population settlement of the Popular Council of Arroyo Rico. They increase participation, while enhancing the culture and personal relationships between these citizens. The methods used were: analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive, documentary review, pre-experiment, observation, survey, and mathematical statistics such as empirical frequency distribution. In the proposal, very valuable recreational activities are exposed that take advantage of the resources and characteristics of the population context in order to promote peasant traditions through the activities developed. Research and its results play an important role related to recreational-educational management that allows in one way or another a healthy life for the entire population, the possibility of satisfying their recreational needs in organized activities; as well as the strengthening of feelings and values of the personality.

Enhancing physical abilities is one of the fundamental assumptions to optimize the athlete's preparation, since strength is a determining ability in the soccer player's performance, for which work strategies are established, such as the implementation of functional training. In this sense, this research aims to determine the influence of functional training on the strength capacity of soccer players in different training categories. The research is descriptive-correlational. Performance assessment tests were applied to determine strength capacity values, as well as other tests that determined the degree of data distribution, plus a functional training program applied to strength development. The effects of functional training on strength capacity in 60 soccer players from different training categories are studied, showing significant differences in the five strength tests applied: Maximum Strength, Horizontal Jump, Vertical Jump, Elbow Flexion and Sit-ups. The positive effects on strength capacity were greater in the higher age range training category (U-18). A significant improvement in the strength capacity in the different footballer limbs is verified, after implementing a functional training adapted to the characteristics and needs of the athletes studied. Emphasis is placed on the positive effects valued in the category with the highest age range (Under-18). It is recommended prospectively to extend the study to an experimental type investigation; and doubts arising in the consultation of the different primary research sources are clarified.
