Labor competencies constitute a new alternative to increase work performance and motivation. Its concept refers to the knowledge, abilities, interests, abilities and experiences of human capital; Hence, competency-based management is of vital importance for the company. Based on these premises, a study was carried out with the objective of designing the job profiles and the performance evaluation model by competencies for the workers of the Laboratory's AICA Company. The qualitative methodology and the research-action method was used. The following techniques were applied: Documentary Analysis, Group Dynamics, Critical Incident Interview, Focus Group, Observation, Mini Delphi Technique by round of experts. It was obtained: designs of profiles of competencies associated with the positions, a method to evaluate said competencies, and a proposal for the performance evaluation model that can be generalized both nationally and internationally.

The aim was to assess the business results of application of the Cujae 2013 integration model in an agro-industrial organization based on compliance with its strategic indicators. The dissatisfaction of customers and stakeholders due to the lack of integration between quality and safety required a mixed-field research methodology (quantitative-qualitative) with comparative analysis. The contrast between the diagnosis before the implementation of the model and the current situation allowed: the define strategies for continuous improvement and rethinking processes that generate added value for the organization. As a result, a robust relationship is established business performance. The Cujae 2013 model applied in agro-industrial organizations shows the social relevance and value (theoretical, practical, and economic) that integrated management provides.

In the Chone parish of the province of Manabí, in Ecuador, the National Telecommunications Corporation of Ecuador built a fiber optic network for telecommunications services, replacing the existing copper networks, with very low speed and reliability. This article presents the planning and execution project of this network, in which a qualitative-quantitative methodology was used, based on current telecommunications project methodologies. The problem was diagnosed through unstructured interviews and field studies. Consequently, the improvement in access to the data networks of entities and households in the area has had a significant impact on the activity of small and medium-sized companies, the management of services for the population and access to distance education offered by the different institutions of the province and the country.

In this work it was carried out the design and application of a procedure for the diagnosis of the energy management in the Company. The procedure is described starting from 7 steps that go from the theoretical conception of 6 variables and 21 elements of the capacity of energy management in the company, the description of the mathematical model based on compensatory diffuse logic, the design of the checkup list until the application and the valuation of the results. The application and valuation of the results in the company’s “Acinox Comercial” and “DIVEP” allowed obtaining the evaluation of the capacity of energy management. Also, it is carried out an analysis by variable identifying the elements of a low performance. It is necessary to improve the performance of the variables: projection of actions of energy saving, use and/or generation of clean energy, energy planning.

The problems that affect the efficiency of the quality of the management of the soap production process in a chemical production company are determined through the development of a procedure. Tools such as document analysis, interviews, graphic analysis, Pareto diagram, Brainstorming, Cause-Effect diagram, OTIDA diagram, descriptive statistics, and quality costs are used. Theoretical methods were used: induction-deduction, historical-logical, analysis and synthesis, and hypothetical-deductive. The evaluation of management efficiency based on this procedure is 1, on a scale of 1 to 5, and a qualitative evaluation of Very bad. 76.8% of the failure costs are costs due to loss of time in the production process by towing the raw material.

The article aims to present the description of the theoretical model for the evaluation, classification and improvement of the degree of technological intensity in Cuban companies. For its elaboration, research methods were used, such as logical historical analysis, documentary review and mathematical-statistical techniques. The model is based on four premises and 11 principles on which the structural elements were built. The theoretical and methodological foundations are in organization theory, specifically in the resource and capacity approaches. The text presents the theoretical verification of the tooling proposed in the model and that allows it to be considered a technology. As a fundamental conclusion of the investigation, it was possible to demonstrate from the theoretical point of view both the validity and reliability of the proposed model, so it can be affirmed that it is reliable, has considerable utility, and has a high degree of usability, as well as of objectivity.

The development of ICTs, organizational changes and the COVID-19 pandemic have caused a significant increase in the use of remote work modalities. The objective of this research was to evaluate the working conditions of remote work modalities in Cuba. The Telework/Distance Work Questionnaire was applied to a total of 28,026 s and managers. The working conditions were valued positively by TDT and managers. The elements related to the clarity of the objectives to be achieved, the deadlines for completing their tasks and adequate communication with co-workers and managers stand out. The main difficulties with working conditions are associated with limitations in the speed and stability of the Internet connection, and access to the necessary computer means provided by labor organizations. Significant differences are evident in all working conditions with the exception of communication between bosses and TDT.

The aim is to determine the quality of the service and its relationship with customer satisfaction in the dining rooms of the Portoviejo terminal, Ecuador. The research is descriptive, correlational, and field. The value of each variable arises from the indicators of the SERVQUAL model and the Customer Satisfaction Score method. 23 dining rooms of the Portoviejo terminal participated in the study. The sample selected by probabilistic sampling was 114 diners, to whom the survey was applied. As a result, a strong positive correlation was obtained between service quality and customer satisfaction. The deficient indicators are the decoration and hygiene of the canteens and staff, the implements used in the environment where they eat food, and biosecurity measures. It is concluded that it is necessary to eliminate waste, improve cleaning, and better customer service.

The introduction of a methodological theoretical model for the training in directive competitions, in the specialty of penal education, responded to the needs of these specialty heads. Theoretical and empirical methods are used, such as historical-logical, systemic, modeling, hypothetical-deductive, interview, questionnaire, participant observation, triangulation, interpersonal communication, specialist criteria, measures of mean central tendency, mode and median, and SWOT matrix. A general procedure composed of stages was developed that contains tools that allow the application of the designed model. Performance indicators and results were obtained that facilitate the evaluation of the training process in management skills. Applying the procedure, allowed the development of a group of directive competitions that implied advances in the relative indicators to the work position, and a change of conscience and compatible performance with a sustainability paradigm.
