Resumen
Emotional intelligence has become especially important in recent decades, due to the impact that socioeconomic demands have on people and that consequently have repercussions on the physical and mental health and family stability of individuals. Students arrive at educational centers loaded with a variety of conflicts that exacerbate their ability to cope, which can affect their academic performance. Faced with this reality, research on emotional intelligence and academic performance was conducted; with the aim of analyzing whether there is a significant relationship between both variables and describing the dimensions of emotional intelligence in university students. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach, with a descriptive-correlational scope, a non-experimental cross-sectional, correlational design and with a convenience sample made up of 71 psychology students from the National Autonomous University of Honduras Valle de Sula, attending the last class of the career. The results show that there is no significant relationship between emotional intelligence and its dimensions (attention to feelings, emotional clarity, repair of emotions) with academic performance.

Resumen
This research has been proposed, from the implementation of a program for the development of research competence in Initial Teacher Training (FID), to account for the perceptions that students have, with respect to the achievement and development of learning autonomous, critical and creative for research work. This study has been developed from the theoretical and methodological foundations of the qualitativeinterpretive research approach and particularly, with the application of the evaluative level case study method. We worked with a sample of 80 students in teacher training at a Honduran university, to whom a semi-structured qualitative interview was applied. For the processing of codes and the categorization of the units of analysis, the specialized program for qualitative data AQUAD 6 was used. Among the most relevant results, it is evident that the students have perceived their own achievement of attitudinal skills to self-regulate their learning process with critical judgment and innovative responsibility during the investigative work. And all this, within the framework of a pedagogical environment full of practical experiences of collaborative work between peers and with the support of teachers; and reinforced with information and resources hosted on the web.

Resumen
The objective of this work is to validate a test for vocational guidance prepared by the Francisco Morazán National Pedagogical University of Honduras to help those who aspire to enter said university in their choice of a career. The original test consists of 160 Likert-style items, which make it possible to measure vocation in 16 of the careers offered by the university. An exploratory factor analysis was performed using the Factor 10 program, using the polychoric correlation matrix for the analysis, the weighted least squares method as the factor extraction method and Promin as the rotation method, and eight factors were identified (GFI = 0.99 and RMRS = 0.029). Subsequently, an analysis of the items was carried out in the context of the classical test theory, using SPSS 23, and the item response theory, using IRTPro 4, for each of the subscales (or factors); revealing problems of local dependency and low discrimination for some items. Subsequently, taking into account the previous results, the number of items per scale was reduced and a confirmatory factor analysis was carried out using MPlus 7 using the polychoric correlation matrix, for the analysis, and the least squares method weighted with mean and adjusted variance, which revealed that the test of 8 subscales (39 items) is adequate (RMSEA = 0.046; CFI = 0.971; TLI = 0.969) and provides information about the vocation of the applicants; however, the fit indices suggest the need for improvements.

Resumen
This work is a case study, whose objective is centered around determining if students in 11th grade at International School of Tegucigalpa, Honduras are apt to carrying out an investigation project. The population that was the objective of this study was accompanied with the dynamic of "Learning by doing", with the purpose of perceiving the expectations a priori, along with the strengths and weaknesses in regards to acquired skills for the development of an investigation. In the results, there are stages in the teaching and learning process in regards to the investigation that are shown as evidence in a quantitative order, obtained from the student´s projects. Although the focus of the study is strictly qualitative. The main idea of the study was to discover if the students receive the procedural competences in order to realize an investigation project, detecting their strengths and weaknesses. Via observation of the participant and through an interview of 14 students (n=86), we found that they do not possess the competences prior to the realization of an investigation project, but that through a collaboration, they were apt to evidencing attitudinal and cognitive competencies for these purposes.

Resumen
This documentary investigation reveals Sen Amartya's contributions to human development in disability. In this proposal it is assumed that comprehensive well-being and quality of life constitute elements on which development is based and that must be promoted in correspondence with the full exercise of individual and collective freedoms, that are understood as those responsible for making the growth of human supra-complexity operational. This supposes, the expansion of opportunities and the free development of personal capacities, as requirements to dimension human dignity. This requires the reduction of the effects of inequality and the maximization of educational and training opportunities, which allow people with disabilities to actively, autonomously and competitively insert themselves in the occupational-labor scenario of their preference and without any limitation. It is concluded, the integral human development must sustain its efforts in guaranteeing the diversification of growth opportunities that allow the individual to fulfill the purposes inherent to their life project, in such a way that they achieve the full development of their personality and the scope of their self-realization.

Resumen
This research has the aim of describing the teaching and learning process in an indigenous elementary school, exploring aspects such as the language that teachers use, as well as the planning design and teaching materials they make. It also considers student’s perceptions about their learning process, and how they experience face to face education and distance education too. The study was conducted in an elementary indigenous school located in the Tarahumara mountains of the state of Chihuahua in Mexico, with students of the rarámuri indigenous group. The research is framed in the interpretative paradigm with a qualitative approach. It uses the phenomenological method, with a questionnaire for the teachers and 10 students as key informants. Among the results, it was found that teachers follow the guidelines of bilingual education, since they use Spanish and the indigenous language; also, they adjust the curricular contents and didactic material to the student´s context, so they are significant to them. Furthermore, the need to implement an intercultural education becomes apparent, not only for indigenous students but with all of the student population, in order to overcome communication problems that occur due to the indigenous language variants.

Resumen
The content of this essay analyzes the way in which the theoretical activity developed in the field of ecological ethics is constituted as a source for the construction of contemporary philosophical discourse. For this purpose, the investigation focuses on two dimensions: in the first, the discussion between the need to build a new ethics or the possibility of applying the existing theories, principles and values in classical ethics in addressing the problems is presented. environmental. In the second dimension, the implications of globalization processes in the constitution of ecological ethics are assessed, as well as in the emergence of new environmental values. As a result of this study, it is concluded that the problems and questions that generate debates and theoretical elaborations in the field of ecological ethics are valuable contributions for the construction of the philosophical discourse in the present century.

Resumen
The present research work is to appreciate how an editorial management in a scientific journal such as Big Bang, improving its platform, will influence its application to enter higher-level databases, such as the aspiration to go to catalog 2.0 in the Latindex database.
The publication of electronic scientific journals at the national and international level, in recent years it is observed that it has increased in the case of our country, because the publication of an article or another type of communication of intellectual production is considered a factor of meritocracy for the application for promotions and appointment in public competitions called by public educational institutions. Currently, the institutions focus the publication of their journals on electronic publishing and some institutions maintain the two publication formats: printed and electronic. This presentation of printed formats was affected by the pandemic. The edition of electronic journals leads to the fulfillment of specific criteria for this publication model; that is, compliance with editorial standards and the use of editorial management systems. Compliance with these criteria leads to the indexing of journals in the different information systems, it is required to meet a certain amount of standards apart from other factors that can facilitate compliance with some evaluation standards, such as presenting articles in HTML format

Resumen
Objective: To evaluate university students through anthropometry and biochemistry in order to design healthy lifestyles to improve the immune system against COVID-19. Materials and Method: A sample of 184 I cycle students from the different schools of the UNJFSC was taken. The google survey was used. Results: Students from 16 to 18 years old in Anthropometry obtained a BMI. Women have a risk of overweight 72.2%, overweight 23.6%, normal 2.8%, obesity 1.4% and men risk overweight 47.6%, overweight 28.6% , obesity 16.7%, normal 7.1%. Students over 19 years of age are overweight 30.3%, obesity I 12.1%, obesity III 3%; women overweight 21.6%, thinness I 2.7%, thinness II 2.7. In the frequency of consumption, we observe that university students consume daily, weekly, monthly, in a higher percentage, cereals (rice, noodles, roots and tubers) and legumes. The consumption of protein foods are present through dairy products, eggs, meat, fish, poultry and viscera, being within the adequate ranges. Vegetables and fruits are present in 50% on average. CONCLUSIONS: In the evaluation of the nutritional assessment, it was found that students are at risk of overweight, overweight and obesity, also coinciding with the frequency of food consumption and proposing a design to improve the immune system against COVID-19
